Delivered by U.S. yard Trinity Yachts in 2006, the vessel is getting a little long in the tooth but underwent a substantial refit last year. The white hull was painted sky blue, the operational systems were upgraded, and the interior was revamped. The vessel’s name was also changed to Purpose this past January.

Large enough to accommodate both guests and reality TV stars, Purpose is equipped with six generous cabins, including an owner’s suite, a VIP, three doubles, and a twin. In addition, the yacht features a sprawling main salon with a baby grand piano, a formal dining room, and an upper deck lounge. The living quarters evoke the Golden Age of yachting, with dark wood paneling contrasting light upholstery.

Heading outside, the sundeck is home to a Jacuzzi, sun loungers, and a bar perfect for cocktail hour. The crew can also set up an alfresco gym or an open-air cinema outside if you desire. As you might expect, Purpose also comes with a full arsenal of water toys and tenders, including a 32-foot Intrepid, wave runners, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. She also sports an inflatable pool, a 30-foot waterslide, and a beach club pontoon that will be particularly fun in the Med.

'BG' feadship Superyacht

This 33-year-old superyacht ‘BG’ comes from the world-renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship and features their classic exterior lines. She was built back in 1990 at their De Vries shipyard in the Netherlands and has since undergone refits in 2015 and 2022. She has a length of 46.9m, a beam of 8.8m and she sits in the water with a 2.9m draft.  

This world cruiser has a steel mono hull, topped by an aluminium superstructure. Her design and naval architecture is the work of award-winning Frits De Voogt. With a gross tonnage of 515, she is propelled through the water by her twin CAT 3508 DITA diesel engines (905 hp each) at a top speed of 15 knots. When cruising at 12 knots she has a max range of 5000 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 69,800 litres. 

Her interior design was the work of New York based McMillen Design, and her later reconfiguration is courtesy of Toronto based Dee Dee Taylor Eustace, founder of Taylor Hannah Architect Inc. She features high-end finishes in dark woods contrasted against refreshing bright whites, creating a beach house vibe that’s straight out of the Hamptons.  

BG can accommodate 12 guests in 6 spacious luxury cabins. The Master cabin and VIP cabin are full beam and are situated on the main deck. The 4 guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. All cabins have en suite bathrooms. She also has accommodation for 11 experienced crew members. 

In amongst the meticulous craftsmanship, notable state-of-the-art amenities include an outdoor deck jacuzzi, a gym, outdoor projector screen, a hydraulic swim platform, plus an exquisite wine cellar in the salon containing 120 bottles.  

    BG boasts a plethora of water toys to entertain guests of all ages. She offers 2x Yamaha jet skis, waterskis, inflatable climbing wall and waterslides, paddleboards, kneeboards and wakeboards, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, plus 4x F5 seabobs. She also has 2 tenders on board; a 9.8m Intrepid Tender and a 5.5m Novurania Tender. 

BG was previously named Charade. She is Feadship’s 110th-largest yacht, and she is the 1181st-largest yacht in the world. In 2016 she was a finalist in The World Superyacht Awards for ‘best refitted/rebuilt yacht’. The yacht that Captain Lee Rosbach is sailing on this season of Below Deck is the notorious My Seanna. While fans of the show haven't seen the yacht since season six in 2018, it was quite the impressive power vessel. It looks like Valor is taking a back seat for this season.

On this season of the popular Bravo series, My Seanna is setting sailing once again with Captain Lee and the crew from the show. Even though it has been a couple of years since the fans have seen the massive yacht, they do not forget all the great times the crew had on it during season 6. Captain Lee took the My Seanna ship all the way to Tahiti on season 6, which made for quite the picturesque season. Now My Seanna is back on the water, sailing through the Caribbean sea with the crew from Below Deck .

According to Mega Yacht News , the My Seanna yacht  seen on  Below Deck was built 20 years ago by Delta Marine and previously named Gallant Lady. Back the yacht was 160 feet, but was refitted in 2014 to the 185-foot mega yacht its appears as today. The Yacht Charter Fleet added that the interior and exterior designs of the boat were designed by Glade Johnson Design. The overall look and style of the yacht feels expensive and luxurious thanks to the fabulous designs the vessel was given. Not only is the boat beautifully design, but it is massive enough to fit up to 12 guests. The yacht includes six rooms, including a master suite, one VIP stateroom and 4 double cabins. Not to mention, My Seanna can also hold up to 12 crew members on board to ensure a relaxed and luxurious experience. The price for a boat like this will cost you between $350,000 and $412,500 per week in the summertime and between $294,000 and $392,000 per week during the winter seasons.

Even the beautiful furnishings and lavish seating featured throughout the yacht  were carefully placed to create a rich and comfortable atmosphere. As for amenities, the My Seanna includes impressive leisure and entertainment facilities that make this boat ideal for socializing and entertaining with family and friends. The outdoor movie theatre allows for downtime with some company. Plus, there is a touch-and-go helipad for those who may enjoy a fun helicopter ride. Some other important amenities features that guests might enjoy are the air conditioning, WiFi connection on board, deck jacuzzi, and gym equipment. Not to mention, the boat also includes an array of amazing water toys such as several kayaks, a water trampoline, an inflatable waterslide, and more. As for the performance of the ship, My Seanna includes an ultra-modern stabilization system to help reduce the roll motion effect and for maximum comfort throughout one's charter trip. With a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots, the My Seanna is ideal for those who love performance and luxury.

The My Seanna has been proven to be a reliable yacht for both its crew and its guest for many years. Since  Below Deck has used this ship more than once, proves just how great the My Seanna has been to those who have had the pleasure of chartering it. Maybe the fans will get another season next year with this fabulous yacht.

‘Below Deck’ Yacht RHINO (ex OHANA) Renamed, Refitted and Ready for Charter

After starring in Bravo’s second season of ‘Below Deck’, due to air 12th August, superyacht RHINO  has undergone an interior transformation to set her apart from her previous life as OHANA. 

It was announced in May that following the success of the first series of ‘Below Deck’ the show would be back for a second season but this time the 47m/154ft Admiral motor yacht OHANA would replace the 50m/164ft ‘HONOR’ as the setting for the show’s charters. The second series was shot in the British Virgin Islands over five weeks during the winter season and since filming ended OHANA has been sold to an experienced charter-savvy yachtsman.

Her new Owner is keen to distance RHINO from the ‘Below Deck’ series which, despite its ratings popularity, has received heavy criticism from those inside the yachting industry. Many believe that the unprofessional antics of the crew and the outlandish behaviour of the guests portrayed on the show do not accurately reflect the real charter industry. Upon delivery to her new Owner, RHINO was quickly taken in for extensive upgrades, ranging from interior styling to the rebuilding of her engines. 

BEFORE As featured in the show, RHINO’s previous interior décor encompassed classical style with a nautical theme in the navy and white colour palette, artworks and furnishings. Her five staterooms extended a similar design with traditional design features more befitting of her 90’s build. She was however still very well-equipped with spacious living areas and a range of amenities such as a sundeck Jacuzzi and large centrally placed open air bar. The styling of the outdoor living areas combined brightly coloured sunpads and cushions in a good selection of covered and open seating areas.

AFTER Thanks to her refit RHINO has now been completely refreshed with a brand new contemporary yet elegant look with new furniture and a crisp palette of white walls and furnishings offset by blue and grey features. Rhino paintings now adorn the main salon walls to emphasise the superyachts new persona while the staterooms have now been reinvigorated with new bedding and lighting. The outdoor areas have also been given a new lease of life with much more subtle seating and colours. The overall effect is modern and stylish and far more appealing to the tastes of charter guests.

Motor yacht RHINO is now ready for charters in New England at this summer before heading to the Caribbean for the winter, available at weekly rates starting at USD 140,000 plus expenses. In autumn she will be going in for additional upgrades that will include replacing the two small round dining tables in the main salon to one large dining table, and converting the second twin stateroom to an adaptable king berth in order to accommodate 5 couples in 5 double staterooms if so desired.

Below Deck's Captain Glenn Shephard opens up on life beyond the camera

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Captain Glenn Shephard has been at the helm of the Parsifal III for all four seasons of the hit show, and has now opened up about his life off-camera

Below Deck Sailing Yacht, the popular reality TV show, follows the crew of the Parsifal III as they cater to guests during their charters around Greece , Croatia, Spain and Italy. Captain Glenn Shephard has been at the helm for all four seasons.

The series offers a glimpse into the lives of the crew members who work and reside on the 177-foot yacht. There's never a dull moment onboard as the guests keep the crew on their toes.

In an exclusive chat with Express.co.uk, Glenn shared insights about his life both on and off the Parsifal. He is currently preparing to inaugurate the 55th Southampton International Boat Show, Britain's biggest marine festival, later this month.

Speaking from Croatia, one of his favourite sailing destinations, he said: "I'm currently in Croatia on my little boat, my girlfriend and I have a 42-footer. Croatia is amazing, I also really like Greece as a place to sail."

"I love the Caribbean and the Bahamas."

More recently, he admitted he had "slowed down", explaining: "I'm not working that much on the big boat [Parsifal] any more."

"I worked for 15 years on that boat, 12 years before any cameras showed up, doing exactly the same thing as you see on the show."

"But now I'm taking more time off to cruise on my boat. For a day in the life of a captain on a super yacht, you get up, and you meet some of the crew."

"It depends whether you have guests on board or are in between charters, but going to the wheelhouse, check emails, the guests get up."

"What's the plan for the day? Go out and do a sail, stop for lunch somewhere, maybe do another sail in the afternoon and get set up for dinner, maybe a beach party or picnic - something like that."

"All of the logistics you are figuring out. My job is very heavy on organising and keeping everybody on the plan."

"Keeping them motivated and interacting with the guests and making sure their needs are seen to."

He emphasised that no two days are alike, stating: "I think that's an average day but there's no normal day."

"There's always something crazy happening and I think that's why it makes for such a good TV show because nothing is planned, none of it is made up."

"But there's always something crazy happening on the boat."

He is soon to be found at Mayflower Park in Southampton, as the boat show runs from September 13 to September 22.

Captain Glenn will officially inaugurate the show at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and fans can hear from him directly during a special Q&A session on the Foredeck Stage at 3.30pm. He'll share fascinating tales from his life at sea, what it takes to captain the Parsifal III, and insights into the world of Below Deck.

Additionally, 20 lucky superfans will have the opportunity to meet Captain Glenn at an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet in TheYachtmarket.com sparkling wine bar.

Tickets to the event come with a glass of fizz, an opportunity to quiz Glenn on all things maritime, and even a signed keepsake to take home.

Discussing the upcoming boat show, Glenn said: "I think boat shows are a great way to start if you have an interest in boating and you have never been on a boat."

"The whole boating industry got a massive bump right after Covid, the boat builders can't keep up with the orders."

"Used boats, the prices have gone up. There's an enormous boost in interest in boating, it's a great way to still have a holiday but stay isolated."

"People are starting to realise the attraction of that whether there's a pandemic or not."

Home: Inside the star yacht of Below Deck Mediterranean season seven

Television network Bravo has confirmed the return of Below Deck spin-off Below Deck Mediterranean as the seventh season wraps up filming in Malta. The hit reality series, which follows a yacht crew over an eight-week charter season, will premiere its new season on July 11 with Captain Sandy Yawn at the helm of an all-new yacht named Home . The 50 metre Home was built by Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2017 as a 'home away from home' for her owner. It was one of the first superyachts of its size to feature a hybrid propulsion package, which makes her 48 per cent more efficient than other 50 metre yachts, and is the first diesel-electric motor yacht to appear on Below Deck .

The yacht was started on speculation and construction was already underway when her owner joined the project. Home 's lines were designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and inspired by another Heesen build, the 50 metre Sibelle . A vertical bow serves a dual purpose, helping the yacht to carve through waves, but also creating more room on the interior to place the crew accommodation. In order to stay under 500GT, Omega created walkaround decks with cut-out bulwarks that offer uninterrupted sea views from each of her two lounges.

The interior was started on spec but wasn't to the tastes of the owner, who brought in designer Cristiano Gatto to rework the design. The new brief was for a modern, comfortable interior; the keyword was simplicity, not minimalism. 

Home can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins: a full-beam master suite can be found on the main deck, while a full-beam VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twins are found on the deck below. The decor takes inspiration from the owner's on-shore properties with a contemporary, "Ibiza-style" feel. Low-slung sofas are featured throughout with a palette comprised of white, black, grey and a deep red.

The sun deck will be a popular spot with guests during the series. There's a sit-up bar shaded by a hard top as well as a Jacuzzi and a dancing pole. A quartet of sun loungers can be found aft with yoga mats tucked underneath, while a projector and a screen set-up can transform the deck into an outdoor cinema. 

Another spot for riotous evenings is the sky lounge, which in effect is an extension of the outside deck with beanbags, day beds and teak flooring. The space is serviced by a bar and is a popular spot for lounging in the cool air and taking in the view. Alternatively, the doors to the aft deck can be shut, the furniture removed, a mirror ball and a smoke machine can be added and the area becomes a dedicated party room.

More fun can be found on Home ’s foredeck, in a telescopic seat that rises from the bow, allowing uninterrupted 360-degree views. It can even be used underway if the conditions are right. 

Captain Sandy will be joined by returning Below Deck cast member and deckhand Mzi “Zee” Dempers, as well as a trio of new department heads. 

Home is currently available for charter with Burgess starting from $245,000 a week. She is also jointly listed for sale with Burgess and Christie Yachts asking €29,500,000.
