Motor yacht Heliad II launched by Lynx Yachts

The 33.4m motor yacht Heliad II was launched yesterday by the Dutch yard Lynx Yachts.

Built far from the spotlights during the two last years, Heliad II is a modern classic yacht with a naval architecture and an exterior styling by Diana Yacht Design.

The interior, by Weber Yacht Design, accommodates 10 guests in a master suite, two VIPs and two double staterooms. Crew quarters are for five in three cabins.

Lloyd's registered and MCA compliant, Heliad II is powered by twin Caterpillar C-18 giving a comfortable cruising speed of 13 knots. Lynx superyacht Heliad II has now been launched.

Heliad II will be delivered for the upcoming season.

The Invigorating Heliad II Superyacht

The Heliad II is a brand new 33.4 meter LOA superyacht, launched last year. Designed by Diana Yacht Design, with interiors from Weber Yacht Design, and built by Lynx Yachts at the Scheepwerf Made facilities, Heliad II is a beautiful and luxurious, 100% Dutch vessel.

The most striking thing about the boat is how light, airy and spacious it seems. The panoramic aft deck, the spacious and elegant teak deck, the aft deck with its splendid vista views, or the comfortable aft bridge deck with its panoramic views – they all combine perfectly to give the ship an open, welcoming and friendly vibe, which its guests immediately notice and enjoy. In addition to all of this, there’s also the starboard swimming platform, with quite impressive in size, undoubtedly one of the boat’s highlighted features.

The interior fit perfectly into the same scheme. The luxurious, cozy ambiance carries over into the main saloon, as well as the remarkably spacious five suites which can accommodate as many as twelve guests.

With its instantly appealing air of elegance and style, and its warm, welcoming ambiance, the Heliad II perfectly epitomizes what such a boat should be: a vessel that gives its guests that wonderful sense of comfort and freedom while sailing the high seas.

We are very proud and excited that once again one of our yachts is a finalist at this show. This year the most famous and glittering event of the year will take place on February 24th in Wattens, Austria. The designers perfectly translated the owners wishes into this practical no-nonsense yacht which is very pretty and provides a lot of luxury and comfort to her guests. She is a yacht that offers everything for an active but relaxing stay on board.

During the building period we worked closely together with the owners so we were able to refine the yacht’s style and features. M/Y Heliad II has been designed as a classic DIANA Yacht. Her flared bow and round stern are very recognizable for a DIANA design and give the yacht an elegant and timeless look. The designers challenged themselves to create a layout with 4 fully equipped decks, which isn’t often seen on a vessel only 34 meters long. The 8 meter beam is quite large for a vessel her size, but greatly improves her seaworthiness and optimizes interior space. Despite the relatively large beam the design still looks sleek and well proportioned. Another feature never before seen on a 33 meter yacht is the 5 meter tender, stowed inside the hull. It can be launched through a shell door on the starboard side using a sliding davit crane.

A lot of thought also went into the ships engineering and construction. The engineers put in great effort to make the construction easier for the craftsmen to build and for the crew to maintain after completion. The ship’s fuel tanks can hold a total of 38.000 liters, and give her a range large enough for a transatlantic voyage. All of this put together makes Heliad II a complete, easy to use, spacious super yacht with features normally only seen on larger vessels.

The 34m superyacht 'HELIAD II' is currently available for winter charters at her low season rate of €75,000, rather than €89,000, in Cannes.

The largest boat show in europe, the Cannes Yachting Festival is set to showcase an array of outstanding charter yachts as it returns for its 39th edition this September.

‘Heliad II’ is a 109.91ft  /33.5m  custom motor yacht built in 2013 by Lynx Yachts. This stunning vessel’s exquisite exterior design is the work of Diana Yacht Design. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Weber Yacht Design.

The yacht has lots to like and has a well-appointed sundeck perfect for entertaining friends and family. In addition, you’ll find a generously proportioned swim platform and a highly voluminous main deck.

Heliad II’s elegant interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms and 2 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew members onboard, so wherever you’re travelling, you’ll do so in comfort and luxury.

Heliad II has a top speed of 13.5 knots flat out, and has a cruising speed of 11 knots from 38,500- fuel tanks.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or share your experience on social media. Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on hot, sticky days.

A Jacuzzi on deck provides a great place to relax in style, and take in the view.

Heliad II has all the modern amenities you need to enjoy the very best modern charter experience.
