Welcome to yacht charter L. van der Pol. We have been renting out sailing yachts and motorboats for your wonderful sailing holidays since 1979. Quality and fun are our top priority! Our well-maintained fleet consists of well-known brands such as Bavaria , Dufour , Dehler , Balt , Friendship , Sportina , Compromis , Victoire and the Geuzen/Breehornvalk . Our ships guarantee a wonderful day, week or weekend on the water. In 2017, we added the Sea Angler cabin skiff to our fleet. This is a fantastic motorboat for a multi-day sailing trip. In 2018, we are adding the similar Akkrumer vlet 760 .

Luxurious sailing yacht rental in Friesland

All of our ships are furnished completely and luxuriously. Even our smallest yacht has a complete inventory that even includes dishwashing soap and a safety lighter. This also means that there are no extra costs for e.g. life jackets or charts. The only cost not included is fuel, all else is provided. We therefore like to say that a sleeping bag and food are all you really need to bring.

A professional team

After almost 40 years of renting out boats, it is safe to say that we have all of the necessary knowledge on board. In case anything should happen during your vacation, a team of professionals will help you get back on the water as soon as possible. We would like to introduce ourselves to you!

Facilities at our marina

All of our ships are rented at our marina in the center of the unique Frisian lake region. Our location (watersportboulevard ‘t Ges) is only 10 minutes away from the Sneekermeer and the center of Sneek , without any bridges or sluices in between. In only three hours you can be on the IJsselmeer. With some of our boats it is also possible to sail the Wadden Sea, allowing you to sail as far as Terschelling or Amsterdam . Our marina has a parking lot and good sanitary facilities (showers and toilets). We also have a small camping ground with a seating area and fire pit, in case you want to stay a night in the marina.

Sailing is green

Green is more fashionable than ever, and sailing might just be the eco-friendliest holiday there is. Sailing is essentially wind energy and when you do need to use the engine, it is good to know that all engines in our fleet conform to the most recent emission regulations.

All our boats are moored at this address, so that your holiday can start immediately. You always get the boats with a full diesel tank (200 litres) and a water tank (400 litres).

Sailing in Friesland

The province of Friesland is known for its Frisian lakes: around 30 lakes that are connected through pools, ditches, and canals. Friesland is, therefore, a great destination for water sports enthusiasts: you can sail the most impressive routes without getting ‘interrupted’ by land. Moreover, there are more than enough ( Marrekrite ) mooring options in the villages, towns, and nature.

And the Frisian people? We are proud of our beautiful province, hospitable and more than happy to advise and help our visitors. Especially when you join us in our passion for water sports: most Frisians themselves are avid water sports enthusiasts too, which immediately creates a bond. You are very welcome!

Yachtcharter Sneek is located in the heart of the Frisian water sports centre, the beautiful city of Sneek. A recognized and unique rental company with 23 ships in our rental fleet, ranging from 8.5m to 14.4m. Unique because of the low headroom of most of our ships, which means that low bridges up to 2.45m are no problem at all and we can offer you the most beautiful sailing holiday over the Frisian waters, Overijssel rivers and through the landscapes of Groningen. You can stay on our ships with two to a maximum of twelve people. All with their own facilities so that you can enjoy your holiday in many beautiful places. In a nature reserve, bustling village or harbor, everything is possible. You do not need a sailing license to go on holiday with one of the yachts of Yachtcharter Sneek. An extensive sailing instruction is the standard and sailing course can be booked. In addition to the extras for a carefree holiday, we also offer options such as SUPs and a dinghy. Your faithful four-legged friend is also very welcome on most ships!

We would like to thank you a lot for your great contribution to our wonderful boating vacation we had in Holland. You helped us a lot in giving all the information need about boating, since it was our first boating vacation.

We sailed for the first time in 2006. For the time of year we had very good weather. But we didn’t dare dream that April 2007 would also have fantastic weather in store for us. Together with another couple we really enjoyed the surroundings..

We have quite a few years sailing experience, but this was our first acquaintance with Wetterwille and we are happy to say that everything went really well! The Antares is comfortable and easy to sail. Too big for two people, but
