At the recent Monaco Yacht Show, we took a look at several of the featured new yachts on display, including the new Swan 120

Being moored stern-to in Monaco’s Port Hercule during the recent Monaco Yacht Show 2021 was the perfect place to showcase a trump feature of the Swan 120. Its ‘beach deck’ with a twin set of steps that gently lead down from the aft deck will rival some of the aft ends of the surrounding motoryachts.

The new Swan 98 and and Swan 120 are the latest in Swan’s new generation German Frers-designed range of performance cruisers. These powerful, beamy designs sport twin rudders and plenty of form stability in a style which has already proven popular over the last three years with the 65 and 78.

These latest superyacht versions are of carbon-epoxy construction. Geared around ocean passagemaking at speed they come with the option for a telescopic keel, which buys improved windward performance paired with shoal draught capability.

By carrying almost max beam right aft on the Swan 120, designer Frers has created the multiple benefits of form stability, huge volumes below and the space to create this aft hangar-slash-beach terrace area.

The transom folds down hydraulically revealing a garage for a 4.5m tender and various toys.

Deck lounging space has clearly been a key criteria of the design. The vast guest cockpit is adorned with multiple sofas and can be protected by a bimini and sprayhood which rise out of a coachroof cassette at the push of a button.

A 1.8m-wide companionway of curved glass then eases you into the deck saloon where there are vast daybeds adjacent to the large hull portlights.

The Swan 120 – pushing the boundaries of a performance cruiser

The new carbon fibre model further demarcates the three core pillars of swan’s product range….

At the Monaco Yacht Show this year, Nautor’s Swan unveiled its latest maxi yacht model, the Swan 120, reaffirming its reputation for impeccable craftsmanship.

The new model, designed by Germán Frers, not only serves its purpose as a tremendous performance cruiser with the latest design refinements from the experts at Nautor’s Swan, but further demarcates the three core pillars of Swan’s range of products: the production Swan line up to 78ft; Swan superyachts (98 and 120); and the ClubSwan performance range.

“Out of the four 115s we have built, the first one, Solleone , was very cruising performance-orientated. However, the last two, Highland Fling and Odin , were designed more for racing,” explains Peter Naeyé, product line leader at Maxi Swan. “In my opinion, those customers should be attracted to the ClubSwan range, so what we’ve tried to do with the 120 is bring the focus back around to comfort inside and on deck, to have a more cruising-orientated yacht while maintaining a good level of performance.”

The hull and deck of the Swan 120 will be entirely carbon fibre – specifically, they will be built from epoxy SPRINT prepreg carbon fibre skins on a core of M-grade Corecell foam. The result, according to Naeyé, will be excellent structural stiffness and rigidity at the lightest possible weight.

“There are many carbon fibre-orientated owners and captains now,” he continues, “and while I understand their ambitions to make everything extremely lightweight, one thing I wanted on this particular boat was a good-sized tender, so that guests can make it from the boat to the restaurant on the shore [and remain] dry.”

The transom folds down hydraulically to form a teak-decked swim platform – or ‘beach deck’ – and a clever storage area for a 4.5m tender of the owner’s choice. “Having a big tender, especially with an inboard engine, can be used for exploration of coasts while at anchor too, so it’s not only used for shore transfers,” Naeyé adds. Once the tender is launched, the deck area can be used for sunbathing or dining.

Two principal interior concepts have been put together by Genovese designer and naval architect, Misa Poggi, and the team at Nautor’s Swan: one has the master in the aft and one has the master forward. Both layouts feature three additional guest cabins, all of which are en-suite.

“What we’ve tried to do with the 120 is bring the focus back around to comfort inside and on deck.”

The saloon has plenty of natural light from the coach roof design and there is a unique layout option featuring a large hull window adjacent to daybeds – a soft-furnished space that is perfect under sail or just before the night falls.

“We have been overwhelmed by the number of enquiries since the unveiling of the model at the Monaco Yacht Show,” remarks Naeyé. “We are producing quotation after quotation at the moment, which is a good sign.”

Despite this popularity, Naeyé says the shipyard will not begin a project on-speculation in anticipation of a first order. The rationale behind this decision, he explains, is the multitude of options available to potential clients. “We’re sure these customers will have specific requirements. While the hull is the same for this platform, there are different layout options.

“For instance, you also have the option of three different rigs – you can have the standard pin-head rig, or a pin-head with a short bowsprit, or a square-top with a long bowsprit [over 3m]. These considerations have a significant impact on how you set up the boat, so we will wait for the first order.”

As well as the specific requirements to be met, the shipyard are confident in the short amount of time needed to deliver the vessels to the owner. “We have a very short lead time – we can build these boats in under two years. In addition to the speed of the build, we have managed to reduce prices without sacrificing Nautor’s quality and while using prepreg carbon,” concludes Naeyé.

One certainly has to agree that this concept makes sense for a multi-faceted yacht builder such as Nautor’s Swan, which is catering to a range of owners with different experience levels and ambitions, to have more clearly defined product ranges. The Swan 120 is certainly an excellent design put forward by the Finnish yard.

Nautor’s Swan Introduces Sailing Superyacht

  • By Kelley Sanford
  • Updated: October 9, 2018

nautor swan 120

Nautor’s Swan recently introduced its newest yacht and largest model in its Maxi Swan series, the Swan 120 . The design is a collaboration with longtime naval architect on Swan projects, Germán Frers, as well as interior designer Misa Poggi.

Amidships on the 120’s deck is the interior salon’s “coach roof,” raised slightly higher than the rest of the deck for more head room belowdecks. It leads aft to the yacht’s cockpit lounge where guests can enjoy a sundowner on her settees or a three-course meal when it’s converted into a dining area.

Just aft of the cockpit lounge, owners can have a belowdecks access point that’s surrounded by U-shaped seating and shaded by a retractable sunshade. The builder calls it a “snug-island” and it’s a good place to sit for on watch. It’s located right between the 120’s port and starboard helm stations.

The 120’s hydraulic transom transforms into a teak beach at anchor. The area is made larger when her 14-foot-9-inch tender and other water toys are launched from the stern garage. Guests can use the area to swim, sunbathe or even dine seaside.

Access to the salon is through a 6-foot-wide, curved glass companionway door in the coach roof that, consequently, also provides natural light inside. Amidst the Italian textiles and leathers from Genovese designer, Poggi, there’s a C-shaped settee to port and a dining area is to starboard. However, another layout option is available: hullside windows adjacent to daybeds, providing an interaction with the sea that is “in true alignment with Misa’s core philosophy for the interior,” says the builder.

Owners can also choose between a forward or aft full-beam master suite while a guest stateroom with a double berth and two with twins round out guest accommodations. No matter the layout choice, the 120’s three twin crew cabins will be placed close to her galley and laundry area for ease of service. Her full-beam engine room is located directly below the salon, housing the yacht’s 450 hp Scania diesel.

nautor swan 120

For sailors who enjoy shallow-water capability, 120 owners can opt for a telescopic keel that reduces her draft from 18 feet to 11 feet 6 inches. And since Nautor’s Swan knows every sailor’s approach varies, the 120 can come with one of three sailing configurations. For the owner looking to compete, the racing package with a square-top mainsail with running backstays and a double-length bowsprit with bobstay is the way to go, and a concealed anchor system is available too.

Swan 120: here is the new Nautor superyacht

  • Giorgio Ranucci
  • December 21, 2020

The Swan 120 brings together the skill and craftsmanship of three distinct groups, all renowned in their individual fields, and working together, in partnership, to create a masterful interpretation of the modern superyacht. Delivering unparalleled comfort, safe passage-making and the requisite level of reliability, the Swan 120 resets the bar for this size of yacht.

The naval architecture for the inspirational project emanates from the Buenos Aires office of maestro, Germán Frers, house designer for Nautor’s Swan since the early 1980s. A fresh, influential element in the longstanding collaboration between Argentinean flair and Finnish build-prowess, is the interior design contribution of Genovese architect, Misa Poggi. Featuring the latest construction techniques and materials, along with an innovative range of solutions, the Swan 120 is aimed at defining the next generation of performance superyacht design.

Shaping the present, influencing the future

The shape of the Swan 120 reflects the elegance and style Frers brings to all his yachts, particularly Swan yachts where the lines are instantly recognizable and make a statement in every harbour and on every ocean. From the stunning stem, with the typical Germán Frers sheerline, the hull lines sweep gently aft. From around the mid-point, the smooth rocker in the hull rises to a masculine stern with powerful, dynamic quarters above the waterline. The hull design carries almost all of the maximum beam right aft, a concept that delivers excellent form stability when heeled and at the same time creates generous volume below.

At deck level, a clean foredeck leads aft to the coach roof of the raised saloon, which blends seamlessly into an expansive, protected cockpit area. This core element of the experience afloat is completely free of lines, enabling those not engaged in the sailing of this sublime superyacht to truly relax while underway. The detailed design conceals a sophisticated, electrically controlled bimini top and sprayhood, which disappears into completely flush coach roof cassette when not in use, and offers extensive shelter from sea and sun.

Nautor's swan 120

At anchor, the cockpit area transforms into an encompassing lounge space. With versatile deck sofas, it is the perfect place to unwind as the sun sets before converting into an elegant, intimate dining area. Following the philosophy of other designs in the Maxi Swanline, the Swan 120 also offers ‘aisle seats’ to enhance both the sailing and leisure experience. Aft of the deck lounge is a clean deck space, still sheltered by the coamings, which runs to behind the steering pedestals with ‘aero-seating’. In-between the helming stations, it is possible to incorporate a ‘snug-island’, which provides protected access to the aft accommodation with a dodger, sprayhood and cozy seating for those on watch.

The voluminous stern section will gain real attention when the yacht is at rest. The transom folds down hydraulically to form a teak-decked swim platform and reveal spacious garage housing a tender of 4.5 metres and other toys of choice. Once the tender is launched, the large area becomes available for watersports, sunbathing and even dining. The design means the clean Swan stern under sail effortlessly transforms into a large ‘beach-deck’, connected to a well-organized ‘hangar’ for maximum entertainment at anchor. In addition to the stern platform swinging down, a section of the aft-deck may be opened up to convert into a large sunbed at deck level.

Swan 120 racing

The hull and deck of the Swan 120 will be a full carbon fibre construction, using epoxy SPRINT® pre-preg carbon fibre interior and exterior skins on a core of M-grade Corecell foam. The pre-preg system provides the ultimate in structural stiffness and rigidity at the lightest possible weight, while at the same time ensuring absolute structural integrity. The hull will be laid up in a female mould tooled from the same technology, thereby ensuring identical mechanical properties when the hull undergoes heat curing using the very latest in oven technology. The yacht will be brought to life in Nautor’s Swan’s state-of-the-art superyacht facility in Pietarsaari, Finland. Latest materials, cutting-edge build techniques and the finest craftsmanship, for which Nautor’s Swan is renowned the world over, will be employed.

The Interior Touch of Swan 120

Within this graceful hull is an interior designed by architect Misa Poggi. Two principal interior concepts have been conceived: Owner Aft and Owner Forward. Both Owner stateroom configurations, offer three exceptional guest cabins, each with ensuite bathroom. Misa has developed a sophisticated theme specifically for the Swan 120 project, featuring the finest Italian textiles and leathers to create the ultimate ambiance in comfort and luxury, for the Owner as well as family and guests.

Dinette

The spacious saloon is accessed from deck via a magnificent 1.8m wide companionway door constructed of curved glass to maximise ease of access and natural light below. Both full-beam, comprehensively-appointed owner’s suite options feature Misa Poggi’s stylish design-touches with ensuite facilities and the possibility of a walk-in wardrobe.

Swan 120 amanagements

In addition to the Owner’s stateroom, there are three ensuite guest cabins envisaged, one double and two twins, along with three twin crew cabins, also ensuite. In both layouts, for privacy, the galley and laundry are positioned close to the crew quarters and provide everything needed for seamless service of the Owner and guests. At the heart of the yacht, and flooded with natural light from the coach roof above, is a spacious saloon, featuring a lounge area to port and a dining suite to starboard. There is a unique saloon layout option that features a large hull window adjacent to daybeds. This soft-furnished space is perfect while under sail or just before the night falls. The proximity to the hull and water offers an experience of the sea in true alignment with Misa’s core philosophy for the interior. It has been commented that these saloon beds are reminiscent of the ‘pilot berths’ typically found in Swan yachts from the 1970s.

Systems, Rig & Appendages

The Swan 120 comes with a comprehensive specification as standard, but there is an extensive list of options to ensure each yacht reflects her Owner’s unique interests and style. Three sail-plan configurations echo the diversity of approach to the sport of sailing and that different Owners will favour different sailing grounds. Capable of world girdling exploits to concentrating exploration of the Mediterranean, Caribbean or Pacific, the emphasis will always respond to the needs.

In addition to the sail-plan considerations, Nautor’s Swan has given thought to the underwater appendages. Chief among these is the option of a telescopic keel, which reduces draught from 5.5 to 3.5 metres. In conjunction with the standard twin rudders, this keel option opens up a world of shoal-draft lagoons, colourful harbours and remote, unspoiled anchorages without compromising sailing performance. As expected, the system design is optimized for safety and reliability without any intrusion into the interior. The anchor for a vessel of this size is critical piece of equipment and the design-thinking has had made sure that the Swan 120 has an appropriate system. The anchor is launched and retrieved by means of a hydraulic retracting and folding arm, utilizing a design that has proven its reliability and ease of use over many years.

Swan 120 Anchored

The Swan 120 has been designed to enable worldwide cruising without compromise. Advanced sail handling systems are complemented by abundant deck stowage including a spacious forward sail locker and two aft lazarettes. She also has generous tankage for both water and fuel, all easily inspected. Below the raised saloon is a full-beam engine room providing excellent access to her 450hp main engine, the two generators and other electrical and hydraulic systems. For those wishing to compete, there is a comprehensive racing package that includes a square-top mainsail with running backstays; a double-length bowsprit with bobstay for fast reaching with powerful masthead gennakers and even the option to integrate a concealed anchor system.

Superyacht 75 – Autumn 2022

The new Maxi Swan fleet 38-metre flagship is the 29th big size ship Pietarsaari Yard have built since 1970. She was designed by German Frers, as a “world superyacht” for all oceans at any climate. She alternatively offers two keels, three equipment levels and two internal layouts, all interiors being Misa Poggi’s job.

Swan 120

“The new Swan 120 Superyacht shows Nautor’s philosophy and DNA at their best. Her breathtaking performances are provided by an efficient double rudder hull, with state of the art waterlines and several options for keel and sail plane combined.

Another key ingredient was her carefully planned deck with push-button control, a clean and convenient area to access water and sunbathing. 120 is an extremely interesting proposal, designed by an expert team and built on the best Nautor technology”. These are Germàn Frers’s first words to describe the new flagship of the Maxi Swan fleet, whose 50 year long history boasts 28 different models.

Swan 120

Three of these were designed by Sparkman and Stephens, and as many as 25 by Frers, who has been working for the yard since 1980. His achievements include Nautor’s biggest ship, the 40-metre 131 built in 2006. Thanks to her modern construction techniques, her finest material and innovative solutions, Swan 120 redefines the current design generation for high performance superyachts.

Swan 120

Her lines show elegance and style as Frers has always laid upon Swan’s yachts, whose shapes are immediately recognized from any distance, in any port, at any sea. From the stunning bow, the hull lines gently move backwards, sketching German Frers’s typical horse. Mid hull the sidewall starts rising to a brawny aft, showing dynamic borders above the waterline.

The hull design naturally moves its beam to the aft, to provide an impressive stability in case of swerving as well as generous spaces inside. The deck smoothly stretches free of obstacles from the bow to the living room deckhouse, perfectly merging with a protected area in the cockpit. The complete absence of obstacles on the deck allows easy movement both for the staff and the guests; not being busy with maneuvers, the latter can really enjoy and relax while sailing. The careful design does not fail to hide a sophisticated bimini top and electrically controlled sprayhood, which disappears into a completely flush recess in the roof when not being used.

Swan 120

Otherwise, it provides a wide shelter from the sea and the sun. At anchor, the cockpit area turns into a cozy lounge. Its armchair sofas make it the perfect place to relax at sunset, while sipping a Martini, before it turns into an intimate and elegant dining room in the air. When at anchor, the aft mirror hydraulically opens to create a teak upholstered beach and reveal a huge garage hosting a 4,5 metre tender with other chosen toys. Once the tender has been launched, the area can be used for water sports, sunbathing and even dining.

Swan 120

The Swan 120 hull and deck are entirely carbon-fiber made. Inner and outer leather, made of Sprint epoxy pre-peg carbon fiber, were laid on a grade-M Corecell foam core. The pre-peg system provides the best structural stiffness at lowest weight, thus guaranteeing perfect structural stability. The Swan 120 interior was designed by architect Misa Poggi, from Genoa, who is now in charge of layout, furniture and décor of the entire Swan fleet. Two main layouts were conceived: owner’s suite bow and owner’s suite aft. In both cases, enough room is left for three large guest cabins, each with private ensuite. Misa carried out a specifically designated theme for Project 120, featuring the best Italian fabrics and leathers to create an exclusive and fully customized atmosphere of luxury and comfort, both for the owner and his guests.

Swan 120

The large living room right in the middle of the yacht is flooded with natural light from the deckhouse and the large windows. A 1.8mt wide door provides direct access from the deck. The living room, featuring a port lounge and a starboard dining area, is also perfect while sailing. The perception of water and the sea experience provided by the hull windows perfectly match Misa’s conception of the interior.

This first Swan 120 unit, Audrey the First, shows interior customization by Mark Whiteley Design. Swan 120’s standard equipment is fairly complete, yet a long list of extra accessories is there to guarantee perfect correspondence between each yacht and its owner. Three shapes of the sailing plane mirror as many different approaches to sailing. Regatta fond owners can count on a complete regatta pack, featuring square mainsail with adapted backstay, a double length bowsprit with bobstay to quickly wall up powerful mast-head gennakers.

Swan 120

Owners who love venturing out in shallow waters can choose a telescopic keel to reduce draught from 5,50 to 3,50 metres, the fixed keel draught being 4,50 metres. Anchor, for such a big yacht, is a critical piece of equipment. Swan 120 provides a suitable system which moves the anchor through a folding hydraulic arm, whose flexibility and reliability have been fully tested over the years.

The highly advanced sail moving systems perfectly match the deck storing capacity, which includes a large sail furling bow and two lazarets, aft. Below the raised living room, the full-beam engine rooms provides excellent access to the main 450hp engine, the two generators and all electric and hydraulic plants onboard. Swan 120: The Finnish Jewel

The Finnish luxury sailboat maker Nautor’s Swan, that has already produced such wonders as the Swan 78 and the Swan 98 models, now launches the Swan 120 – whose quality, design and capability were attested in the Monaco Yacht Show’s latest edition, which ran from September 26-29, 2018.

Swan 120 Sailing Yacht

The Swan 120 is the Nautor’s largest luxury sailboat produced by the brand. With a design specially designed to guarantee performance, maneuverability and speed, it is the ideal boat for trips in general and especially sports competitions.

According to specifications given on the manufacturer’s official website, the Swan 120 is the result of the joint work developed between the Argentine naval architect Germán Frers (who made his first project for a yacht in 1958) and the internal design made by the Genovese architect Misa Poggi – in addition to the Finnish engineering of Nautor’s Swan .

Swan 120 Sailing Yacht Construction Materials

Made of SPRINT® carbon fiber, the model’s hull and deck are, at the same time, lightweight and sturdy. The deck has a reduced width, ensuring a thin look to the yacht. The materials guarantee integrity, strength, durability and dynamism to the model, making it a “luxury sports model”.

There are two main concepts at the inner part, the Owner Forward and the Owner Aft. Both configurations offer three guest cabins, each with a suite, with Italian fabrics and finishes specially developed for this model. The design ensures excellent natural lighting, plus a large lounge and a dining area. Swan has retained some typical traditional features of brand identity, such as the pilot berths found on yachts produced in the 1970s.

With a Scania Dl13 081M engine with 331 KW of power and 450 Hp, speed is a natural part of the Swan 120. The sailboat weighs about 99,000 kg (218,257 lb) without load and 112000 kg (246917 lb) loaded.

The Swan 120 is both a compact and comfortable model, combining practicality, luxury, comfort and resistance, making it the masterpiece of Nautor’s and one of the best luxury sailboats ever produced in the world. It’s definitely the junction between the Finnish nautical tradition and the projection of new concepts that can be the basis for other luxury fast sailing models’ category.

This is one of the perfect examples that you don’t need to sacrifice comfort to receive quality, nor good taste to take a good performance. Refinement and endurance are two items present in this masterpiece, and the Swan 120 will definitely be a recognized element in all seas – and in the main regattas.

The 11 Most Exciting Superyacht Debuts at the Monaco Yacht Show

Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show always promises a stellar lineup— last year had an unusually large number of wild launches—and this time around will be no exception. More than 120 superyachts, including 20-plus that measure 200 feet and above, will be on the docks at Port Hercule, with beautiful Monte Carlo in the hills above.

Among the fleet of anticipated launches is the 400-foot Kismet . Built by Lürssen and launched earlier this year, this stunner will be shown before the winter charter season, at a weekly rate of $3.25 million. The vessel is sure to stand out, thanks to the large silver jaguar sculpture fitted under its bowsprit.

Besides bling, showgoers will notice the concerted push toward sustainability this year. Rossinavi has introduced the Seawolf X , its first hybrid-electric catamaran, and Nautor Swan’s sailing maxi yacht, DreamCatcher , is also its first hybrid. Sanlorenzo is launching Almax , its first 50-meter (165-foot) vessel with hydrogen fuel cells. It was developed with Siemens Energy.

Siemens is also sponsoring the show’s Sustainability Hub, which has become a breeding ground for eco-friendly concepts and new ideas to promote a greener superyacht sector. This year’s conference will cover alternative propulsion, outlining how it will be adopted over the next five years. The show’s Yacht Design & Innovation Hub takes a less technical approach to sustainability. It’s the place where leading designers and mainstream innovators converge, presenting vessels that will shape the future of superyacht design.

Here are 11 must-see boats at this year’s show.

Lürssen ‘Kismet’

swan 120 yacht

The 400-foot Kismet is the most anticipated boat on display at Monaco this year. True to form, Shahid Khan’s third Lürssen, which charters for $3.25 million per week, will be an exceptional landmark in a marina of superyachts. Alongside its Nemo lounge for viewing marine life, a Balinese-inspired spa with the first chromotherapy bathtub on a yacht, and upper-deck dining options for 24 people, the vessel has a duplex owner’s apartment with two separate marbled bathrooms, a fireplace, and gilded wall coverings. When guests have had their fill of the DJ station and Bogányi piano, the ’80s retro matrix dance floor should keep the party going.

Royal Huisman ‘Special One’

swan 120 yacht

Set to make a splash is Royal Huisman’s 171-foot Special One , the largest sportfisherman in the world. Commissioned by an experienced yachtsman and passionate fisherman, the monster sportfish is kitted out with a fighting chair, 22 fishing rods, insulated cooler boxes, and a dedicated bait-and-tackle room. The teak foredeck can transition into a sheltered private lounge area and also converts to an outdoor cinema. Designed by Vripack, the vessel offers up proportions and seakeeping capabilities that are matched by its impressive 30-knot top speed.

Rossinavi ‘Seawolf X’

swan 120 yacht

Looming large above the water, the 140-foot Seawolf X is Rossinavi’s most ambitious build to date. The hybrid-electric catamaran is the Italian shipyard’s first multihull, which can stay in electric mode during transatlantic trips for 80 percent of the time. Even more impressive is the onboard artificial intelligence system—Rossinavi AI—which analyses the operation of the vessel, predicts the needs of guests and optimizes crew service and logistics. The interior is designed by New York-based Meyer Davis, with an exterior penned by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design. Its wow features include a cockpit centered around a pool, a second hidden pool on the bow area, and an outdoor cinema.

Bilgin ‘Eternal Spark’

swan 120 yacht

Eternal Spark is the first hull in Bilgin’s 163 series. In addition to six outdoor and three indoor lounge areas, the yacht can host over 100 people while at anchor from its five dedicated bar areas. Hot Lab’s use of wood inlays and embossed natural leather create a refined interior aesthetic, while the combination of a huge beach club, sauna, pool, and two cinemas—outdoor and indoor—should keep guests happy. Built with over 200 different materials, it shows how advanced the Turkish yard has become with its last few launches.

Sanlorenzo ‘Almax’

swan 120 yacht

Sanlorenzo’s first fuel-cell-powered 50Steel model joins a growing list of yacht launches exploring alternative power sources. The fuel-cell technology converts biomethanol (green methanol) into enough electricity to cover the hotel load so the yacht can anchor all night without generators. Almax also has Sanlorenzo’s newly patented Hidden Engine Room (HER), located on the lower deck. This novel configuration creates enough interior volume to include a 1,615-square-foot beach club with a pool and unfolding sea terraces, while keeping the yacht below 500GT. The shipyard has confirmed the sale of four units to date.

Custom Line50

swan 120 yacht

Making its global debut a Monaco, the four-decked Custom Line50 is the Italian shipyard’s new flagship model. The dedicated owner’s apartment on the upper deck includes full-height windows, a full-beam suite, and a large private terrace. The sun deck’s lounge seating, cocktail bar, uninterrupted views, and glass-edged infinity pool amplify the sense of being on a floating island. It’s an effective design that is replicated on the main aft deck. This area offers stepped access to the sea, a scenario that is reinforced by an aquamarine-and-cream interior color scheme.

Damen ‘Five Oceans’

swan 120 yacht

The newest model from Damen’s Yacht Support 53 range, Five Oceans was built for Tommy Allen, an entrepreneur committed to ocean exploration and marine conservation. The vessel will be easy to spot in Monaco’s Port Hercules, thanks to its powder-blue, orange, and white hull. The custom build is Allen’s second yacht-support vessel from Damen. It has a sprawling aft deck to carry toys and tenders as well as a 15-ton deck crane for the launch and recovery of the electric boats and Triton 3300 Pro submersible. Five Oceans also carries an Icon A5 amphibious aircraft.

Tankoa ‘Diamond Binta’

swan 120 yacht

Conceived as a world explorer, Tankoa’s 190-foot Diamond Binta blends a hybrid propulsion package with high-gloss finishes over a wooden interior. Penned by Francesco Paszkowski, Tankoa’s long-time design collaborator, the full custom build has an owner’s suite with a fold-out balcony, a forward helideck for shore-based excursions, a large beach club with a spa, and massage room as well as a sundeck with a gym and pool. A corridor on the lower deck connects the yacht’s five guest cabins to the beach area, passing through a viewable engine room.

Nautor Swan ‘DreamCatcher’

swan 120 yacht

As Nautor Swan’s first hybrid yacht, the 88-foot DreamCatcher is described by the shipyard as a “no-compromise cruiser with a racer’s soul.” Designed for guest comfort with a maximum heeling angle of 20 degrees, its exterior is penned by veteran Swan designer Germán Frers, while the light-wood interior with gray accents is done by Misa Poggi. The aft cockpit has a new coachroof design with an integrated sprayhood, bimini, and modular benches that can be used for both lounging and dining. The stern area incorporates a large beach club area and tender garage. On the foredeck is the “sunset lounge.”

Oceanco ‘H3’

swan 120 yacht

Built in 2000 as 312-foot Al Mirqab for a member of the Qatari royal family, the renovated H3 emerged from Oceanco’s facilities in 2023 looking brand new, with an extra 476 gross tons of internal volume. The vessel’s 33-foot extension—to accommodate the owner’s request for an infinity pool with a convertible dance floor and waterfall—and a fully replaced superstructure were enough for Lloyd’s Register to classify the yacht as a new build. A spa on the lower deck has a hammam, a sensory shower, a hair salon, and treatment rooms. The beach club with its rippled mirror ceiling offers stepped access to the sea.

Conrad ‘Extra Time’

swan 120 yacht

Extra Time , the second hull in Conrad’s C144 series, has an exterior by Reymond Langton Design and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. The interior is by M2 Atelier. Much like its sistership Ace , Extra Time has a beach club, four guest lounge areas, a cinema, two bars and an infinity pool. Standout personal touches include an attention-grabbing King Kong  sculpture in the main salon and the main-deck owner’s suite that’s accessed via a private study with an electric piano.
