The Four Pools at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club (Photos, Hours, and Details)

When it comes to the pools at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resorts, you’ve got options. Four pools are available between the resorts. However, most guests will prefer the resort’s feature pool, Stormalong Bay. It’s no secret that we consider it the best hotel pool at Walt Disney World .

However, those wanting to enjoy a peaceful spot at the pool or take a quick swim near their room will want to be aware of the resort’s other options. For instance, you might have a day when you want to enjoy the pool and get laundry done simultaneously. Or you might wake up early one morning and have a few minutes to enjoy the quiet pool before the main pool opens. If so, you’ll have options.

Below, we’ll discuss each of the quiet and feature pools at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club. We’ll review their location, pool hours, and other amenities you’ll want to know beforehand.

Major Refurbishment Note: From January 2025 through June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance. During daytime hours, guests may see or hear construction work. During this time, guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools. (This was originally scheduled to end in May 2025.)

Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Pools

As mentioned above, Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club has four swimming pools. They are as follows:

Stormalong Bay

Dunes cove pool.

  • Admiral’s Pool

We’ll preview each pool further below.

Pool Hours at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club

During our visit, pool hours at Stormalong Bay were between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. However, hours are subject to change. During the summer months until Labor Day, the hours are usually extended one hour until 11:00 p.m.

Pool hours posted at the feature pool at Disney's Beach and Yacht Club.

Quiet pool hours were posted during our last stay from 7:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. These pool hours are pretty consistent throughout the year. However, you’ll want to know that the quiet pools at Beach and Yacht Club do not have lifeguards or other attendants.

Are the Pools Heated?

Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club pools are heated to 82 degrees. So, in the event of cooler weather, they usually remain open. However, if the outside temperature drops to around 50 degrees or lower, the pools will close until warmer temperatures return.

Complimentary Towels and Life Jackets

Complimentary towels are provided at each pool at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club, so you can use the extra room in your suitcase for something else.

Life jackets are also provided at each resort pool. They come in a wide range of sizes.

Mobility Lifts

Pool lifts are available for guests with disabilities or limited mobility. Here is a photo of the lift at the Beach Club’s Tidal Pool.

Changing Areas

Each of the resort’s pools has a nearby restroom. However, Stormalong Bay has an area with dedicated showers, a room to change, toiletries, and towels. If you find this area busy, you can use the shower inside the resort’s gym. The gym is adjacent to the pool, and I don’t think most people know this extra set of showers exists.

Stormalong Bay is more of a water park than a pool. It’s so large it would be difficult to photograph in its entirety unless you had an aerial view.

The feature pool with a sand bottom at Disney's Beach and Yacht Club.

Most guests (including my family) stay at Disney’s Beach or Yacht Club because of Stormalong Bay. We spend most of our days relaxing at the pool, but we do visit the parks for entertainment in the evenings.

Stormalong Bay Pool area with waterfall features

Toward one end, a wading pool features a large sandbar in the center. Smaller children can spend hours digging in the sand and enjoying this pool area.

A children's pool area at Stormalong Bay

Another kiddie pool is available inside the shipwreck, across the walkway from Stormalong Bay. The ship also serves as the entrance to the pool’s water slide. The photo below shows where the tube slide begins at the top of the ship’s mast.

A waterslide that shoots out of a shipwreck at the pool at Beach and Yacht Club.

Stormalong Bay has three hot tubs scattered throughout the pool area.

One of three hot tub spas in the feature pool at Disney's Beach and Yacht Club.

Guests can take in scenic views of Disney’s Boardwalk across the lake from some places around the pool. Stormalong Bay has plenty of seating. But be warned, the good seats are often taken early. During our stay at the Yacht Club this summer, I waited in line for the pool to open each morning to get a table and chairs in the shade. Places in the shade are pretty limited.

Cabana rentals can be reserved up to 60 days in advance, but they sell out quickly. If you want to learn more, we have a review of renting a cabana at the Beach Club . We also have a complete guide for Stormalong Bay that includes photos and videos of every pool feature. If you plan to spend some time at this pool, it has some tips that will likely be useful.

Tidal Pool at Disney’s Beach Club

Disney’s Beach Club has two additional quiet pools. The Tidal Pool sits on the front side of Disney’s Beach Club. It is the smallest of the three quiet pools between the resorts. While this pool sits near the walkway to Epcot, a laundry room sits on one end, blocking the view. Rooms on the other three sides surround the pool.

To access this pool, take the main hallway off the resort’s lobby. Follow the signs that say pool, and after a few turns, you’ll reach a doorway leading out to the pool. You can’t miss it.

This pool is often the least busy of the three quiet pools. However, if you visit when the weather is warm, don’t be surprised to find a reasonable number of guests at all the pools.

Here is the laundry room by the pool. We have a separate article with the locations for all the laundry rooms at Disney’s Beach Club .

Next, the Dunes Cove Pool is located near the back of the resort. This is the formal pool for the Beach Club Villas. The buildings in this wing are mint green compared to the blue of Disney’s Beach Club.

While the Dunes Cove Pool is exclusive to guests staying in the Beach Club Villas, resort guests can access it. However, this pool area will likely be out of the way and is often busy.

Newly resurfaced pool at Disney's Beach Club Villas

This pool was recently completely resurfaced. We stopped in on a chilly day to check out the updates. Everything looked fresh and new.

Admiral Pool at Disney’s Yacht Club

At Disney’s Yacht Club, guests have access to the Admiral Pool. If you take the hallway off the lobby and pass The Marketplace at Ale and Compass, it will dead end at doors that lead to the Admiral Pool. It’s a peaceful pool area surrounded by trees on one side.

Admiral Pool

This pool is a little off the beaten path. If your room doesn’t face it, you might not know it was there.

All the quiet pools have a maximum depth of 4’3″. However, Stormalong Bay has some areas that get as deep as 8′.

Hurricane Hannas Waterside Bar and Grill

If you want to enjoy a meal or cocktail at the pool, you’ll have two options. You can order something and take it to the pool of your choice, or you can visit Stormalong Bay and order from the poolside bar and grill, Hurricane Hannas.

Hurricane Hannas the poolside bar and grill at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club

During busier times, servers wait on guests at the pool deck. However, this often takes a while because only a few servers wait on the entire pool area. On my last visit, a server left us a menu. It was over 30 minutes before he returned to our area. While it wasn’t his fault, if you want something quickly, you are probably better off ordering it at the location.

outdoor dining area for Hurricane Hannas

We like placing a mobile order at Ale and Compass and bringing it to the pool. The food is good quality and reasonably priced, and if you want something small, you can order something from the kids’ menu.

If you purchase a Rapid Fill mug during your stay, you should be aware that Hurricane Hannas has a beverage refill station. You can refill your mug at the pool.

Additionally, Beaches and Cream, an ice cream shop, sits immediately behind the pool area. They do not do mobile orders but have a walk-up window where guests can order various ice cream treats. If you want to dine here, you’ll need to get a reservation or join their walk-up list when available.

In addition to the pools, the Beach and Yacht Club have a variety of other recreational activities. The Beach Club has a sand volleyball court near the lobby entrance.

The Yacht Club has a tennis court next to the Admiral Pool. Both resorts share a fully equipped gym on the walkway behind Stormalong Bay.

Final Thoughts

We love all the pools at Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club. But it’s hard to deny that Stormalong Bay has a special place in our hearts. It’s going to be tough to beat!

On a side note, I would caution that some guests are overwhelmed by the large pool area. So, if you have children of an age where you’ll need to keep an eye on them at all times, you might not enjoy your pool time. When my niece was younger, we camped out at the sand bar pool. It’s more of a wading pool than anything. She was content to dig in the sand all day. So, I never had to worry about her wandering off into other pool areas.

That said, make sure to pack a good book (hopefully), find a spot in the full sun or shade, and relax the day away. Don’t forget the sunscreen! You might even enjoy a little pool-hopping between the resort’s quiet and feature pools throughout your trip. It’s your vacation, so enjoy what you like the most. These special times don’t come often enough for most of us.

Food & Beverage

The following dining locations are located at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort

  • Yachtsman Steakhouse- A MickeyBlog favorite, the airy dining room of this Table Service eatery features knotty-pine beams and nautical touches. Menu highlights include grain-fed beef that is aged in house and prepared on an oak-fired grill, 12 oz Prime New York Strip Steak with peppercorn brand sauce, truffle macaroni and cheese and for dessert the Yachtman’s Chocolate Cake.
  • Ale & Compass Restaurant – Drop anchor for Eastern Seaboard eats that the whole crew will love at this Table Service eatery. This seaworthy spot is a comfortable place to relax and refuel before and after a day of adventure. For breakfast we recommend the dark chocolate waffle or  salted caramel-apple French toast.  Lunch options include Lobster and Corn Chowder, Ale and Compass Salad, and the Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Burger. Finally, for dinner, indulge in sumptuous seafood, like sustainable catch of the day or New England seafood pot pie.
  • Ale & Compass Lounge – Stop by this nautical nook for lively libations and savory snacks. Choose from a variety of beers, wines and high-end liquors—as well as cocktails like the Spicy Pomegranate Margarita and the Captain’s Mai Tai.
  • The Market at Ale & Compass- Pop by this quick service spot for a variety of provisions. Once inside, you’ll find breakfast favorites like Mickey waffles with bacon, tasty sandwiches and hot paninis at lunchtime and delightful coffee beverages to brighten your day—along with magical Disney merchandise.
  • Cape May Cafe – Start your day off right with an all-you-care-to-enjoy, breakfast buffet featuring Assorted House-Made Pastries, Omelets, Beef Hash, and of course, Mickey and Minnie Waffles. For dinner buffet offerings include Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Cape May Clams, Oven Roasted Lemon Chicken and Slow-roasted Strip Loin. Available for an additional fee are Snow Crab Legs (per pound) and Whole Lobster.
  • Beaches & Cream – Slide into a beach ball-bedecked booth at this Table Service spot and peruse a menu of fountain favorites, sweet surprises and hot-off-the-grill items. Find yourself in “burger heaven” or try the equally sublime grilled cheese and tomato soup. Chili-cheese tots and onion rings are among the other comfort classics offered. But the main event here is, of course, dessert with showstoppers, like the Snickers Sundae and the No Way José—a delectable creation with ice cream, peanut butter and hot fudge. For the ultimate experience, get a load of the Kitchen Sink: 8 scoops of ice cream smothered in every topping we have.
  • Beach Club Marketplace – Quick Service- Start your day with a breakfast sandwich or Mickey waffles. Then fuel up on lunch and dinner with a selection of macaroni and cheese dishes, hot or cold sandwiches, or refreshing salads.
  • Martha’s Vineyard – Canoodle over a Cape Cod or any signature cocktail from the full bar menu at this mellow New England beach house-inspired lounge. Imported wines and draft beers, including Sam Adams Seasonal, enhance the mood. Appetizers are also available.
  • Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar – Enjoy the view of Stormalong Bay as you’re blown away by a sea of signature cocktails, draft beers and frozen drinks like the rum-infused Piña CoLAVA.
  • Crew’s Cup Lounge – Race into port for a refreshing beverage at this cozy outpost nestled next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Unwind with a pint, a glass of wine or a cool cocktail or from a selection of tasty menu items (hours vary).

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Review (Is it worth it?)

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is one of the most beautiful and convenient hotels in all of Walt Disney World. With its classy design, enormous pool, and prime location, it’s easy to see why the Yacht Club at Disney World is such a highly sought after place to stay.

My family and I have visited numerous hotels on Disney property, but the Yacht Club always keeps us coming back for more. We love the close proximity to Disney’s Boardwalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.

The multiple transportation options are a huge plus, especially for those who don’t like to solely rely on Disney buses. And of course we have to mention the Yacht Club’s pool, Stormalong Bay. This elaborate resort swimming area is arguably the best pool at the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you’re still not quite sold on the Yacht Club at Disney World or if you would like more information, continue reading below. In this post, we will cover everything you need to know about this deluxe Disney resort , including the activities, restaurants, and rooms available at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

(This post may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, I may receive a small compensation at no extra cost to you. Please see my disclosure policy at the bottom of this page for more details.)

Yacht Club Restaurants

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is full of all different types of restaurants. Since this hotel shares dining options with its sister resorts, you’ll find even more places to eat within a short walk of your room.

blue walls and club chairs with sign reading Ale and Compass Lounge

These are the Yacht Club restaurants you will find just a short stroll away:

  • Ale and Compass – sit-down restaurant in the Yacht Club that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (also available to-go)
  • The Market at Ale and Compass – quick service restaurant at Yacht Club with to-go items and menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse – fine dining restaurant at the Yacht Club that is open for dinner
  • Crew’s Cup Lounge – bar at the Yacht Club that features a small dinner menu and full bar
  • Cape May Cafe – offers a character meal breakfast buffet and sit-down dinner with no characters
  • Beach Club Marketplace – features to-go items and menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Beaches and Cream – available for lunch and dinner with reservations highly recommended
  • Martha’s Vineyard – offers appetizers and full bar
  • Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill – pool restaurant with full bar and lunch/dinner options

Furthermore, the Yacht Club is located just a short walk away from Disney’s Boardwalk , where you’ll find additional restaurants and bars.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is home to the most popular pool on Disney property. It’s such a hit that you’ll find cast members handing out wristbands at the entrance so that only hotel guests can enter.

pirate ship water slide

The main pool, Stormalong Bay, features a large sand bottom swimming area that’s super shallow and great for toddlers and little kids. There’s also a lazy river that’s a fan favorite in my household.

Guests can also enjoy other large swimming areas at Stormalong Bay, including an activities section where you’ll find games like pool volleyball. Stormalong Bay offers a large waterslide as well as a smaller slide that empties into a shallow pool.

empty pool and clubhouse at Yacht Club

In addition to Stormalong Bay, the Yacht Club in Disney World features a “quiet” pool that is seldom busy. This is a great spot to relax or swim laps.

Rooms

My family and I love the nautical decor and ambience of the Yacht Club guest rooms. Additionally, we appreciate that the rooms offer full balconies. In our post on Disney’s Beach Club vs Yacht Club , you’ll read about why these balconies are a major pro for Yacht Club compared to its sister resort.

toilet room, shower, and vanity and Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Disney’s Yacht Club features standard rooms and club level rooms. If you book a room with Club Level benefits, you get access to the Regatta Club. Here, you’ll find food and beverages offered at certain times throughout the day.

2 Queen beds and day bed at Yacht Club

Guest rooms at the Yacht Club come with views of the lake, pool, garden, or hotel rooftop/parking lot. These rooms typically feature 1 king bed or 2 queens. Some of them also offer a daybed. This means that if you book a room with 2 queens plus a daybed, you can sleep a family of five!

Prices at Yacht Club

Since Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is classified as a deluxe hotel at Disney World, you’ll notice that the prices are higher than at some of the other hotels. This is because the Yacht Club offers deluxe room space, extra amenities, and a prime location.

We will explain all the significance of all of these perks in more detail below, but it’s important to note that Disney’s Yacht Club truly offers a deluxe experience. The updated guest rooms feature plenty of space, including private balconies. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of other Disney hotels, restaurants, theme parks, and more.

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

If you would really like to experience the location, amenities, and entertainment at the Yacht Club without the hefty price tag, we suggest booking a room at the sister hotel through David’s Vacation Club Rentals. You will be blown away by the cost savings on David’s DVC rental site! We usually save hundreds of dollars per night by using this method to book a room at a deluxe resort.

Just use the cost calculator to see exactly how much a room costs at Yacht Club’s sister resort, Disney’s Beach Club Villas. These villas are located just a short walk away from the Yacht Club hotel, and they both share restaurants, pools, and activities. While you can reserve one of the villas on the official Disney website, we prefer to book through David’s DVC rental website . We have used this reputable company for years to rent timeshare points at Disney villas.

Things to Do at Disney’s Yacht Club

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort sits on the same property as two sister resorts: Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Villas. These three hotels share restaurants, activities, amenities, and entertainment options with each other.

sand bottom pool with Disney's Yacht Club in background

One of my family’s favorite things about the Yacht Club is that you don’t need to leave the property to have fun. So, if you’re looking for activities at Disney outside of the theme parks, the Yacht Club offers lots of great options. These are our favorite things to do at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort when enjoying a relaxing day at Disney:

See Epcot Fireworks

We recommend walking to the bridge that connects the Disney Boardwalk to the Yacht and Beach Club Resort to enjoy the nightly Epcot fireworks show. You can even grab some ice cream to enjoy during the presentation.

Take a Ride on the Skyliner

Since the Disney Skyliner sits just outside of Epcot’s International Gateway entrance, you can easily access it from the Yacht Club Resort. Just take the short (less than ten minutes) walk toward Epcot and hop on the Skyliner for free!

Book a fishing excursion on Crescent Lake for a truly unique experience while staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

Eat Ice Cream

Disney’s Yacht Club is home to one of our favorite WDW restaurants, Beaches and Cream . While reservations can be difficult to snag at this popular dining spot, you can access the walk-up window to order shakes and ice cream to-go.

Dine with Characters

Check out Cape May Cafe during breakfast/brunch when it becomes Minnie’s Beach Bash. Guests can meet Goofy, Minnie, and Donald while they dine at the breakfast buffet.

Float along the Lazy River

The Beach Club’s main pool, Stormalong Bay, offers many fun features. One of our favorite things to do at the pool is to grab (free) tubes to float along the lazy river.

Play Games in the Arcade

Lafferty Place Arcade offers lots of fun games for kids and adults to enjoy. This is a particularly great place to spend time at Disney World when it’s raining.

Ride the Friendship Boats

The Disney water taxi picks up visitors near the Yacht Club. You can ride this free boat to the Disney Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin Resorts, Epcot entrance, and Hollywood Studios entrance.

Build Sandcastles

Did you know that Stormalong Bay features a shallow, sand bottom pool and beach area? Kids love digging in the sand and splashing around in this section of the pool.

Make S’mores

Visit the nightly campfire to roast marshmallows during your visit. You can even purchase S’mores Kits for a few dollars.

Rent a Boat

Spend time on Crescent Lake on your own private pontoon boat. Guests can rent boats from the marina near the Yacht Club.

Disney’s Yacht Club offers a large fitness center for guests to use during their stay. Ship Shape Health Club is even open 24 hours a day, so you can squeeze in a workout at any time.

Stroll along the Disney Boardwalk

The Disney Boardwalk is full of amazing activities and entertainment options and is just a short walk away from the Yacht Club.

Play Volleyball

As you walk along the boardwalk in front of the Beach Club, you’ll notice a sand volleyball court. This is a great spot to pick up a game with friends or family. You can also often join a game of volleyball at Stormalong Bay Pool.

Enjoy an Evening Movie

Each evening, Disney Yacht Club guests can watch a movie under the stars. These family friendly movies are a great way to unwind after a long day.

Play Mini Golf

Stroll over to Fantasia Gardens and Miniature Golf Course where you’ll find two 18-hole courses. This fun spot is located near the Dolphin and Swan Resorts.

Swim Some Laps

If you’re looking for a quieter poolside experience to swim laps or relax, check out the leisure pool at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. You’ll also have access to the quiet pools at Beach Club and Beach Club Villas.

If you’re not into running or jogging on vacation, you can spend time strolling along the jogging paths at the Yacht Club. You’ll find lots of great spots to take pictures and may even catch some surprises along the way.

Join a Kid Friendly Party at the Pool

Each afternoon, Stormalong Bay hosts fun poolside activities like hula hoop competitions and limbo.

Play Tennis

Guests can find tennis courts near the Yacht Club’s quiet pool.

Zoom Down Waterslides

Stormalong Bay features two separate water slides for guests to enjoy. The main waterslide stretches from the pirate ship and across the Beach Club boardwalk to the main pool.

You’ll also find a smaller slide that’s perfect for toddlers and small kids at the entrance to the main water slide.

Book a Fireworks Cruise

Take in the sights and sounds of the Epcot fireworks show from your pontoon boat on Crescent Lake.

Transportation

As mentioned above, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort sits in a prime location in the center of all the magic at WDW. If you’re planning to visit one of the theme parks, you’ll be happy to know that several of them are just a super short walk or ride away.

hotel lobby with seating areas

These are our preferred ways to get from Disney’s Yacht Club to other places in Walt Disney World:

  • To Magic Kingdom – You can access the Disney buses in front of the hotel. The ride to Magic Kingdom should take 15-20 minutes.
  • To Epcot – Exit the back of Yacht Club (toward Crescent Lake) and turn left. Epcot sits just under a ten minute walk away!
  • To Hollywood Studios – You have several options for getting to Hollywood Studios. We find the quickest option *usually* is walking. Hollywood Studios sits just a 15 minute walk away from the Yacht Club. You can also ride a Friendship Boat to Hollywood Studios. However, by the time you wait on the boat to make stops, this method can take longer than walking. You could also walk toward Epcot to catch the Disney Skyliner. With this method, you should be able to reach Hollywood Studios in around 25 minutes.
  • To Animal Kingdom – You can hop on one of the Disney buses to get to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This is roughly a ten-minute ride.
  • To Disney’s Boardwalk – You can make the five-minute walk around Crescent Lake to easily reach the Disney Boardwalk. Guests can also take the Friendship Boat from the Yacht Club lighthouse and ride across the lake to the Boardwalk.
  • To Disney Springs – You can take a bus to Disney Springs, which typically takes 15-20 minutes.

Is Disney’s Yacht Club Worth It?

Since Disney’s Yacht Club may be my personal favorite resort in all of WDW , I would definitely say it’s worth the cost! I love the classy guest rooms and bathrooms with their nautical decor.

The lobby seems to be quieter and calmer than that at other resorts, and the cast members are super friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoy the food at all the restaurants on site, and we appreciate the ability to easily walk from the Yacht Club to the Beach Club’s dining options.

pin for Disney's Yacht Club Resort

The close proximity to Epcot makes the Yacht Club an ideal place to stay since there’s no rush to get to the park in the morning or back “home” at the end of a long day. Plus, you enter and exit through the International Gateway entrance to Epcot (near World Showcase), so the lines to enter are basically nonexistent.

Additionally, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just a short walk, boat ride, or Skyliner ride away. And if you feel like venturing out, you can take the scenic stroll around Crescent Lake to the Disney Boardwalk.

The Ultimate Disney Yacht Club Review + Insider Tips

February 8, 2021 //  by  Kimberly Jones //   2 Comments

Disney’s Yacht Club opened back on November 5, 1990. Its sister location is the Beach Club located right next to it. The Yacht Club is a beautifully themed resort with nautical and beach themes. We are going to tell you everything you need to know about this wonderful resort in our Ultimate Disney Yacht Club Review + Insider Tips!

There are so many great aspects to this resort such as its location, pools, transportation options, and amenities. If you are thinking about staying at the Yacht Club, read on to find out if this resort is a good fit for you!

Where Is The Yacht Club At Disney Located?

One of the best reasons to stay at Disney’s Yacht Club is the fantastic location! This resort is within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios . There are also several different transportation options to all of the parks, Disney Springs , and the water parks .

The Yacht Club is directly next to the Beach Club, and they share the pool. Now you not only have access to all of the Yacht Club’s restaurants and amenities, but you also have access to the Beach Club’s!

The Yacht and Beach Club are right across the water from Disney’s Boardwalk Resort . It is a short walk away to enjoy everything the Boardwalk has to offer! There are some fun restaurants, bars, and shops to explore there.

The Yacht Club is also very close to the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. There is a pathway to take you right over to these hotels for some extra fun as well!

Not only are there other resorts within walking distance of the Yacht Club, but there are also resorts that are a quick Skyliner trip away! Taking the Skyliner from Epcot’s International Gateway, you can visit Disney’s Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century , and Art of Animation!

Disney’s Yacht Club is in a very prime location with quick access to two of the parks and multiple resorts!

Checking in to The Yacht Club At Disney

Checking into the Yacht Club is extremely easy, and it doesn’t even require you to visit the front desk! The day of your reservation, you can check in to the resort from the My Disney Experience app . The app will let you know when your room is ready and what your room number will be! If you have magic bands or even your phone , you can head straight to your room and unlock the door.

Of course, you can always go the old school route and check-in at the front desk. All the cast members at Disney’s Yacht Club are extremely friendly and accommodating! A great tip to keep in mind is you can always see if there are any upgrades available for your room. We were able to get a free upgrade from a standard view to a water view!

The lobby is also absolutely amazing here. It has a very adventurous and nautical theme to it. You can find everything you need right in this area, such as the restaurant, lounge, bell services, and the front desk.

Right outside the backside of the lobby, there is a boardwalk that will lead you to the boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Transportation Options From The Yacht Club

We love all of the transportation options the Yacht Club has to offer, and we’re sure you will too! As mentioned before, there are walking paths to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Epcot walking path is very short and will get you to the International Gateway in about 5 – 10 minutes. The entrance at International Gateway is on the back side of Epcot by World Showcase .

The walking path to Hollywood Studios is a little bit longer than the Epcot one. This one can take 20 minutes or more. However, there is boat transportation to Hollywood Studios if you don’t want to walk! You can find boat transportation right behind the lobby that will take you to Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

If you don’t want to walk or take the boat to Hollywood Studios, you can always take the Skyliner! There is a Skyliner location right outside International Gateway that will take you first to Disney’s Riviera Resort, and then to the Skyliner central hub at Caribbean Beach Resort. From here you will get off the Skyliner and get in line for a different Skyliner track to take you to Hollywood Studios.

So there are so many options to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, but what about the other parks? Disney has bus transportation from the Yacht Club to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Spring, and the water parks.

If you plan on spending a lot of time at either Epcot or Hollywood Studios, the Yacht Club is one of the best resorts to stay at.

Disney Yacht Club Room Review

There are several different room options at the Yacht Club. There is Standard View, Water View, Garden or Woods View, and 2 Bedroom Suites. All of the view rooms also have club level options.

I was able to stay in a Water View room. The room was absolutely delightful! It had a nautical theme to match the rest of the resort, and it was quite spacious. The room had two queen beds and a pull out couch, so it was able to sleep up to 5 guests. We only had 4 guests in our room, but I could imagine the pull out bed might make the room feel a little more cramped.

The room had large closets with space to hang clothes, and a big sink and bathroom area with two sinks. The shower had a sliding glass door, which I prefer over a curtain.

I really liked that this room had wood flooring compared to carpet. It added to the nautical theme very well. The room also had a balcony that looked over the back entrance of the lobby and the water. Overall, the room was very nice, and I thoroughly enjoyed its set up!

Yacht Club rooms average in price anywhere between $400 to over $3000 per night depending on what room you stay in and what time of the year you visit.

Dining Options At The Yacht Club

There are some really great and delicious dining options at the Yacht Club. This resort has two restaurants, two lounges, a quick service restaurant, a restaurant located in between the Yacht and Beach Club, and a pool bar.

The two restaurants at the Yacht Club are Ale & Compass and Yachtsman Steakhouse. Yachtsman Steakhouse is currently temporarily unavailable, but Ale & Compass is open for breakfast and dinner. This restaurant follows the nautical theme with a relaxing atmosphere and some delicious coastal eats.

The Ale & Compass Lounge is located adjacent to the restaurant. Here, you can order off the lounge menu and even the restaurant menu. This lounge can fill up quickly at night though, so make sure to grab a seat early if you want to eat or drink here.

The other lounge, Crew’s Cup Lounge,  is right next to Yachtsman Steakhouse and is also temporarily unavailable. We hope that the lounge and restaurant will open soon!

The quick service location shares a spot with the Yacht Club’s gift shop. When you enter the Market at Ale & Compass, on the right is the gift shop and on the left is the quick service restaurant. They serve coffee, sandwiches, pastries, and more. This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat to or from the parks!

Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is the hidden gem of the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts! This restaurant is located in between the two resorts and serves some wonderful food! They are open for lunch and dinner and they serve sandwiches and burgers. My favorite is their Grilled Cheese sandwich, its delicious!

However, save room for the best part of this restaurant. The ice cream! They have shakes, floats, and sundaes! You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. If you’re feeling really brave though, try the Kitchen Sink sundae. This sundae is meant for 4 or more people, and includes every topping and a whole can of whipped cream! I have attempted it twice, and I still haven’t been able to finish it. Maybe you can!

Hurricane Hanna’s Grill is the pool bar located right next to Stormalong Bay. They have a few food items and some refreshing drinks.

If you’ve tried everything at the Yacht Club and want something different, head over to the Beach Club! Here you can find even more restaurants and tasty eats!

Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort

Yacht Club Swimming Pools

The Yacht and Beach Club have hands down the best swimming pools on Disney World property. It’s considered more of a small water park than swimming pools because it’s so large!

Stormalong Bay is 3 acres of refreshing fun! It includes a large sand bottomed pool and a lazy river. There are waterfalls, a volleyball net in the pool, and a water slide.

This water slide is no joke. You climb a large shipwrecked ship all the way to the top and then slide down this long and exciting slide! Stormalong Bay even has a “beach” area with sand to play with! After all that fun, go relax in one of 3 whirlpool spas.

Right by the entrance to the water slide is a small kid play area with a mini water slide. This is a great introduction to the big slide for nervous kids!

Don’t need all the excitement of Stormalong Bay? There are also 3 leisure pools at the Yacht and Beach Club for guests to enjoy.

If you plan on staying at the Yacht Club, you must plan a resort day into your schedule! Make some time for this awesome mini water park and relax away from the parks! You won’t regret it.

Amenities At The Yacht Club Resort

There are so many fun amenities and things to do at Disney’s Yacht Club. When it comes to activities, there are fishing excursions, a tennis court, a sand volleyball court, jogging trails, motorized boat rentals, an arcade, and a fitness center. Just ask the front desk if you’d like to book a fishing excursion or rent a boat to go out on the water!

The Yacht Club even has a spa! Ship Shape Massage Salon is a full service spa that can do massages, facials, hairstyling, and nails. We all need a relaxing day every once and awhile! Why not enjoy the spa on your day off from the parks?

The resort also has campfire activities, movies under the stars, and a Pirate Adventure Cruise (which is unfortunately temporarily unavailable at the moment). The Yacht Club is within walking distance of the Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf. Go show off your mini golf skills at this adorably themed course!

This resort really has a lot of fun things for you and your family to enjoy! You will definitely want to take a day away from the parks to enjoy this amazing resort!

Overall Thoughts On Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

We at Disney Trippers absolutely love Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The whole place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It has the perfect mix of being family friendly and adult friendly with lots of things to do. So whether you’re traveling with a bunch of adults or your kids, everyone will enjoy it!

Most everything is in super close distance to this resort. The only time you will have to take the bus is to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Spring, or the water parks. The other parks and some resorts are really easy to get to, making this a top notch location for a resort.

If you have a day off from the parks, make sure to enjoy all of the amenities the Yacht Club has to offer. You could spend a whole day just having fun at the resort! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this place!

We stayed at the Disney Yacht Club the last time we were at DW. We loved it. The staff was outstanding. It was an adult family vacation, and due to different work schedules, some family members had to fly in at different times. The staff accommodated each one and made them feel as if they already knew them. We loved the location as we could walk to different locations. We tried the Kitchen Sink sundae, but couldn’t finish it. We sure had fun trying. We actually took one day to enjoy the resort and were not disappointed. We spent time in the swimming pool, which was amazing with the sand bottom. Lunch was an delicious lobster roll and we finished off at the steakhouse. I would certainly recommend this resort to all who are considering a trip to Disney World.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort VIP Top Tips

Yacht Club

While room requests are not guaranteed , at the Yacht Club ask to be closest to the lobby to limit the amount of walking needed to the pool area and transportation to the Theme Parks.

The Yacht Club has a beautiful wedding gazebo in its gardens. From the balconies of some of the Garden View and Water View rooms, you can overlook this area and glimpse a Disney wedding.

At Disney’s Yacht Club Resort , all rooms have a full balcony or patio.

Enjoy the close proximity to Epcot’s World Showcase . While there is a boat launch available at Epcot, you can get there faster by walking.

You can access Disney’s Hollywood Studios by boat. You may also enjoy a brisk walk around the BoardWalk down to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In general, you may find the boat ride shorter than walking to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

These resorts offer one of the best pools on Walt Disney World property. While separate, the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts share the pool area. There is a “shipwreck” that offers the entry point to the main water slide. Some areas of the pool have a sandy bottom.

These resort hotels are located near the BoardWalk, offering a short walk to additional restaurants and nightlife that do not require park admission.

Sometimes Disney’s bus transportation may share buses with the other resort hotels in the Epcot area around the BoardWalk. If you find yourself stopping at multiple stops, you may want to get off at the first stop and just walk the rest of the way. This is sometimes quicker than stopping at each resort hotel if the bus loop is being shared with multiple resorts.

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is always a magical trip when guests get to experience the theme parks, but there is also a lot that guests can do at their resorts, especially if they are staying on property at a Disney resort.

Crowds on Main Street, U.S.A. in Walt Disney World Resort

Staying at a Disney resort offers an experience that extends beyond just a place to sleep—it immerses you in the magic of Disney from the moment you wake up until you fall asleep. One of the key benefits is convenience. Disney resort guests enjoy perks such as early access to theme park reservations and the option for Early Theme Park Entry, allowing them to beat the crowds and start their day of adventure before non-resort guests.

The resorts also provide complimentary transportation to and from all Disney parks, making it easy to hop between attractions without the hassle of driving or parking.

Disney resorts come in a variety of styles, catering to different budgets and themes. For luxury seekers, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offers Victorian elegance, top-notch dining, and stunning views of Cinderella Castle.

A large sign welcoming visitors to Walt Disney World proudly showcases the magic of the Disney Company. The sign reads "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with Minnie Mouse on the left and Mickey Mouse on the right, flanked by palm trees. Cars drive under it on a sunny day, eager to enter this enchanting realm.

Families may enjoy the playful theming of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, where giant sculptures of favorite characters bring the movies to life. Meanwhile, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort transports guests to a tropical paradise with its lush surroundings, beachfront location, and fantastic dining options like ‘Ohana and Trader Sam’s.

One of the most celebrated aspects of staying at a Disney resort is the spectacular pools, each uniquely themed to match the hotel. For instance, Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club is often considered the best pool on property. This three-acre water wonderland includes a lazy river, sand-bottomed pools, and a massive water slide that starts from a pirate ship. Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge , the Uzima Springs Pool offers a more tranquil experience with its lush African-inspired surroundings and views of the savanna.

Guests enjoying the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon

These pools aren’t just for cooling off—they’re full-fledged attractions that bring the Disney magic to every splash, making them a huge draw for families and resort guests alike.

Plus, if you are from an area of the world that is not typically hot year-round, you may be looking forward to some of those non-theme park days where you can enjoy the pool and just relax. That is why it is important for guests to know if a pool is ever going to be under refurbishment.

Disney has announced that the Surfboard Bay Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance from January to late April 2026. While this may impact your Disney World vacation plans, there are still plenty of other pool options available.

disney all-star sports resort pool

Guests staying at All-Star Sports during this time can enjoy the Grand Slam Leisure Pool or visit the pools at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

Disney is providing ample notice of the closure to allow guests to plan their trips accordingly. While there may be some construction noise during the day, Disney strives to minimize disruptions.

Other Disney Resort Refurbishments to Look Out For

Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort will undergo a lengthy refurbishment in 2025, impacting the availability of Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool. The closure is scheduled to last from January to June 2025.

Guests staying at the resort during this period can still enjoy the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools. However, the closure may influence guests’ decisions on where to stay in 2025, especially considering the resort’s high price point.

Stormalong Bay

In addition to the pool closure, the Yacht Club side of the hotel will undergo room renovations from January to May 2025. This may result in construction noise and fewer available rooms.

While the room renovations at Yacht Club may offer a modern aesthetic, some guests have expressed concerns about the lack of Disney theming. The renovations are being carried out by external teams instead of Imagineering, which may contribute to the more generic feel.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort will also be undergoing room refurbishments in 2025, impacting the availability of rooms on the Bay Lake side.

Despite the closures and renovations, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort remains a desirable destination due to its convenient location near EPCOT. However, guests planning to stay during this period should be aware of the potential disruptions and consider alternative accommodations if necessary.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be undergoing maintenance on the Fantasia Pool from January to April 2025. Guests can use the Duck Pond Pool during this time.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is currently undergoing a multi-year refurbishment. While the room renovations are complete, work on the BoardWalk itself is ongoing. The new Cake Bake Shop Restaurant is expected to open in late 2024.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is expanding with the construction of a new DVC tower. This construction will continue through 2026, potentially impacting views of the theme park and surrounding areas. The new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is scheduled to open on December 17, 2024.

Disney is providing updates on these construction projects and advising guests to be aware of potential noise and disruptions during their stays.

Theme parks, disney cruise line – what you need to know, cruise line ships, disney private islands, recent walt disney world, recent disneyland, disney world reviews, other park reviews, recent reviews, allears style, newsletter home, experts share their “holy grail” disney world tips and honestly, my life will never be the same.

disney yacht club and pool

Doesn’t it seem like when you say, “ Disney World ,” that everyone comes out of the woodwork to tell you what you should be doing there?

disney yacht club and pool

Now, I’m sure what they’re sharing with you are some truly good things just like the tips we share with you like: make sure to hydrate, wear your most comfortable shoes, and don’t forget your sunscreen. This all got us thinking about the best of the best tips. The “Holy Grail” of tips, so we thought we’d reach out to you and get your takes. Well, we asked, and you delivered!

We reached out to our followers on Facebook and Instagram to ask: “What are your best “holy grail” tips for Disney World?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!

disney yacht club and pool

Now, let’s go over your top responses!

Come With a Plan…and Be Flexible

First up, this one came up over and over again, and for good reason. Having a solid plan is key, but don’t forget to leave room for spontaneity. Disney can be unpredictable, so flexibility is a must.

disney yacht club and pool

Mariana, one of our AE readers, put it perfectly, “Prioritize what you want to do. Come with a plan, be flexible, and don’t panic if you need to shift some things around.” That’s great advice because Disney World can feel like a whirlwind. Trust me, even with the best-laid plans, something will throw you off schedule.

On the flip side, Becca chimed in with a completely different take: “I’m the outlier here: don’t over plan. I went a couple years ago with only dates, hotel, parks, and dining planned. It was great. My fiancé and I just wandered around, used the app to check ride times, ate snacks we wanted, and did whatever we felt like.” And Kelly couldn’t agree more, “Always be willing to change gears! Have a plan but be flexible.”

disney yacht club and pool

Finally, Steve dropped a truth bomb for all the anxious planners out there with, “Don’t panic if you need to move or amend any plans that you made 60 days out. Things will change potentially on a daily basis, and you can always move things around and still have an awesome day.”

Take a Break (It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint)

Next up, listen, Disney World is a lot, and pushing through it non-stop tends to lead to exhaustion. You need to rest and recharge. Many of you pointed out that taking breaks, whether at the resort or a pool, is definitely essential to surviving the parks.

disney yacht club and pool

Wesley swears by sleeping in, “SLEEP IN! Enjoy a lazy morning around your resort. Get to the parks eventually. Stay late. Don’t try to do everything. It’s not a race.”

If you’re staying at a Disney resort, Ichie has some great advice for you with, “Go to the resort to take a break in the middle of the day, or have a resort day if you have a long week. Some resorts will keep your kids busy with activities, like the Animal Kingdom Lodge or Stormalong Bay at the Beach and Yacht Club, which even has beach sand for building sandcastles!”

disney yacht club and pool

Marshall also points out, “The pool. I tell everyone with kids, when you get home and ask your kids about their favorite part of the trip, don’t get upset when they say the pool.” The pool might be the highlight of the trip for your kiddos, and honestly, is that so bad? Pools at Disney resorts are next-level and can be a magical part of the experience.

Protect Your Feet

Lastly, I can’t emphasize this enough: happy feet 100% make a happy Disney World trip. We’ve all heard horror stories of blisters, sore feet, and walking-induced misery. Well, our readers are here to help you avoid that fate.

disney yacht club and pool

Craig is spot on with this advice: “Definitely walk and get comfortable sneakers before trying to walk all the parks.” This seems like common sense, but I can’t tell you how many people ignore it. You’re going to be walking a lot. Comfortable shoes are non-negotiable!

Debbie takes it a step further with, “Preventative foot care, blisters will wreck your vacation. Nexcare tape and/or moleskin on problem areas of your feet and ankles will save you a week of pain.” She also recommends compression socks if you’re flying into Orlando to keep swelling down. Seriously, it’s the small things like this that make the biggest difference.

disney yacht club and pool

Lastly, Integrated Travel Solutions offers a quick but a truly vital reminder: “Comfortable shoes!” We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: comfy shoes are EVERYTHING at Disney World. Your feet can be your best friends or your worst enemies, depending on how much love you give them beforehand.

This Secret All-Inclusive Disney World Food Festival Features 45 Dishes and More Than 170 Beverages

Two food and wine festivals in one weekend? Talk about Disney magic.

Megan duBois is a travel and food journalist who has traveled around the world in search of the best bites and experiences. She has been to three continents and countless countries seeking out new adventures to share with readers.

Fall at Walt Disney World brings a lot of excitement from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom to the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival taking over World Showcase. But just outside of the gates of EPCOT is another food and wine festival that many Disney fans don’t know about: the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic .

The two-day food festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and will take place on Friday, November 15, and Saturday, November 16. “It’s an honor and privilege for us to have successfully hosted the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic for 15 years. This milestone year is a testament to our continued commitment to ensuring culinary excellence remains a major part of the guest experience here,” says Greg Sherman, director of food and beverage at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin .

The 2024 event will have the longest hours in the event’s history, starting at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until 9:30 p.m. In another first, the Food & Wine Classic will have an event record-setting 45 dishes to try and more than 170 beverages to taste from 85 booths set up along the causeway between the Swan and the Dolphin, reaching down to the resort’s sprawling pool area. What we love about this secret food festival is that all of your food and drink are included in the ticket cost — so there’s no whipping out your wallet each time you want to try something and there will be no fiddling with food or drink tickets, either.

The food samples and booths are all a tribute to the resort’s on-site restaurants and chefs. In addition, there are also larger themed areas that showcase regional and international cuisine, like a miniature Chinatown and an area dedicated to fresh Florida cuisine.

“Our most important goal is to leverage our expertise and creativity to the delight of our guests and we are immensely grateful to those who come from near and far to experience what we have to offer each year,” says Sherman.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic’s culinary highlights

With more dishes than ever to try, you’re going to want to attend both nights of the Food & Wine Classic. And it’s important to note that the menus for each food station are different on Friday versus Saturday.

“The culinary experience is a key element of that [Disney] magic. We showcase our innovation in food and beverage with constantly evolving offerings which give us an opportunity to present new flavors, styles, and approaches,” explains Sherman. “We empower our culinary team to bring forth ideas and concepts that are certain to surprise and delight our guests.”

On Friday, guests can try some of the innovations in food such as hand-crafted smoked bacon with braised greens, carrot purée, artisanal bread purée, and shaved vinegar heirloom apple from Smokin’ D’s BBQ. Another highlight of the Friday menu is a new dish of hand-made harissa spiced lamb sausage that’s served alongside bulgar wheat, smoked yogurt, and fennel onion salad.

Saturday brings an all-new menu to try at some stands. From The Fountain, you can try a Reuben sandwich with pickled mustard seed, Russian dressing, house-cured cabbage, and marble rye bread. An all-new dish to the festival lineup for Saturday is the Korean “No Mayo” Salad, with rice noodles, bean sprouts, cucumber, kimchi, and cashews.

disney yacht club and pool

Some of the more popular restaurants at the resort complex will host the same menu on both nights of the festival. This is the case for Shula’s Steak House, where Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin served with marble potatoes, caramelized onion purée, horseradish, and béarnaise sauce will be served on Friday and Saturday. Todd English’s Bluezoo will also feature the same menu of Roasted Sablefish with black garlic miso butter and a Shaved Asparagus Salad with cured yellowfin tuna as its two dishes. Rosa Mexicano rounds out the restaurants serving the same menu. At this booth, there will be tempura-fried cauliflower tacos, fish tacos, and the restaurant’s signature guacamole.

Food & Wine Classic will have four themed food areas that will serve the same menu on Friday and Saturday. The first is an ode to fresh Florida dishes at For The Love of Florida. Here, you’ll find dishes like Seminole Pumpkin Fry Bread and Grilled Florida Oysters with a side of house-made kumquat hot sauce. At the Beer Garden, hot buffalo wings are always a hit — along with boiled peanuts and miso butter-tossed Brussels sprouts. Adults will instantly be brought back to childhood at Carnival Corner, where corn dog bites and chipotle macaroni and cheese are on the menu. An all-new dessert zone, called Pastry, will feature sweet delights like Caramel Banana Creme Brûlée, Mandarin Cream Beignets, and Chocolate Blackberry Choux Puff.

disney yacht club and pool

All-you-care-to-drink wine and more

As part of your ticket to the Food & Wine Classic, you’re privy to trying 170 different drinks from around the world. While the festival mostly focuses on wine from places like Argentina, California, France, and Spain, you can also try craft brews at the beer garden. Eagle-eyed festival goers will also notice that the Japan drink booth serves sake, which is a real treat.

Each drink is included in your ticket price, so try as much as you wish. Just be sure to never drink and drive. If you plan on partaking in alcohol, consider booking a room at the resort for the night, getting a rideshare to and from the resort, or having a designated driver in your group.

Learn how to create cocktails and pair wine at interactive seminars

Every year the Food & Wine Classic features educational seminars where guests can learn how to do everything from blend wine to create craft cocktails. Each of the $85 per person seminars is led by a member of the resort’s food and beverage team. This year, the event has three seminars, two of which are new. The first new option is called Beer Here! , where guests learn about and taste some of the craft beer made in Florida. The second option is Salud! A Journey Through Spain , which showcases wine from Spain, teaching people about wine regions, types of wine, and how to pair wine. The last seminar of the weekend is a fan-favorite, Craft Cocktails . With this class, you’ll learn how to make a perfect cocktail no matter where you’re at, from finding the best ingredients to learning if something should be shaken or stirred. All of the seminars take place on Saturday before the outdoor portion of the Food & Wine Classic starts.

Where to stay

To stay directly in the heart of the festival area, try getting a room at Disney’s Swan, Dolphin, or Swan Reserve. The three sister hotels are part of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin complex. They are owned by Marriott, so if you have any brand loyalty you can get your Marriott Bonvoy member perks here. After booking your ticket to the Food & Wine Classic, you can lock in your room by calling (888)-828-8850 and mentioning the Food & Wine rate for a discount.

Alternatively, you could stay at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn or Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts for Disney-owned properties that are within walking distance of the Swan and Dolphin. All three of these Disney hotels are considered deluxe resorts and as such, are priced at a premium rate. If you want to stay at a Disney hotel for less, consider one of the moderate resorts like Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside or Disney’s Coronado Springs. If you stay at one of the moderate resorts listed, you will need to find your own way to the Swan and Dolphin.

How to get tickets

Tickets for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic are currently for sale online . Tickets for Friday or Saturday night alone are $195. If you plan on going to both nights of the festival, you can save 15% by bundling your tickets for both nights, making the total cost $331.50 before taxes and fees.

Whether you decide to go for one or both nights, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is a great way to spend an evening. We love that every bite of food and sip of wine is included in the cost, too.
