Designed by Argent Design of London, which collaborated with the revered yacht designer Stefano Natucci, SILVER ANGEL motor yacht was launched in 2009 to much acclaim and underwent a refit in 2015.

Interior Design & Engineering

With naval architecture by Benetti, the original SILVER ANGEL yacht owner who commissioned the build was very experienced and it shows. The 1400GT displacement yacht has one of the highest volumes in her class thanks to her 12m-wide beam, and she’s been designed with long-range cruising in mind, with a pair of Caterpillar diesel engines providing a range of 5,000nm at a speed of 12 knots.

An Art Deco theme runs throughout the interiors and exteriors of SILVER ANGEL, with glossy black oak panelling complemented by Onyx and white furnishings and lots of mirrors, while white marble and silver leaf add some glamour and sparkle.

SILVER ANGEL yacht can accommodate 12 guests across 7 cabins, including a full-beam Owner’s suite on the main deck forward. The rest of the guest accommodation is spread across a further four doubles, including a VIP cabin on the upper deck, and two twin cabins on the lower deck.

Silver Angel Yacht

Silver Angel was built in 2009. She is one of the best examples of a joint Benetti and Stefano Natucci creation. This super elite charter yacht is 64.5m in length and has a cruising speed of 15 knots. At 1400 GT, she has one of the highest volumes for a yacht of her size.

With an impressive range of 5000 nautical miles Silver Angel is perfect for world cruising and charter. For the ultimate in sleekness, the prestigious naval architect Natucci has incorporated a number of clever styling techniques. These comprise of gentle curves of the supports and windows, a slender radar arched on top of the sundeck and a long black stripe that frames the main deck windows. When at anchor or underway on the ocean waves, her four-fin stabiliser system provides the utmost comfort for all guests on board.

Silver Angel comfortably accommodates 12 guests in seven state rooms opposite a private gym, steam bath and relaxing massage room. For sheer extravagance, a full-beam master suite will make your yacht charter vacation even more luxurious and enjoyable. In replicating the style of the main salon, the spacious sleeping quarters have black lacquer beds with matching low, intricate cabinetry and huge mirrored headboards.

His and Hers bathrooms

The white bed linen and upholstery is contrasted by a glorious crystal dressing table. Behind the bed are two dressing rooms, to starboard and port. This leads through to his and hers onyx-clad bathrooms. One of the highlights in these accommodation quarters is the bath tub in the “her” bathroom which was carved from one single piece of stone.

Before entering the sleeping area, guests pass a fully-equipped gym with life fitness exercise bikes, fitness treadmills and weights. After your workout, recharge your batteries by retiring to the rejuvenating steam room. Alternatively try the Turkish hammam massage room with an on-board massage therapist, ready to take care of your every whim.

Opposite the massage room you will find a sleek office finished in black leather and the same black veneer. Just to demonstrate how much space Silver Angel has, there are another five state rooms situated on the lower deck along with an upper deck VIP suite.

All offer the same unique design as the master suite having detailed ceiling patterns including private en-suites. The chic monochrome décor has a modern yet elegant feel of the 1920s in each living and sleeping area. This is highlighted even more by a combination of white onyx, dark oak, silver leaf and Lalique crystal which delivers a sleek, glossy finish.

Art Deco style

There’s a VIP storeroom on the bridge deck. The interior of the superyacht has been brought to life by the expert craftsmanship of Benetti and the stunning, modern, Art Deco style from Argent Design. Once on board, a magnificent central staircase awaits you.

The central staircase unites all decks and is one of the focal points of Silver Angel. Enjoy the stylistic themes that are continued throughout the vessel, exquisite artistry and interior design at its very best. Walk along the cool corridor that leads off the lobby aft into the awesome main salon. Here you’ll see lacquered walls of ebony-stained oak with large windows and glass cabinets, a sight to behold.

Formal dining at its best

The lobby aft has twelve silver-framed chairs sitting proudly on the pale grey carpet around a glass-topped rectangular shaped table. This is what superyacht charter formal dining is all about. Relax on one of the three curved white sofas opposite a low glass coffee table in the main lounge. It’s the ideal place to socialise with fellow guests.

To make this room even more spectacular, a variety of silver scatter cushions and luscious green plants have been added. The symmetry of the furnishings and surroundings as well as the layered lighting, helps to create the Art Deco 20s style.

Whether unwinding or socialising in the main salon, rest assured there will be no intrusions from any of the crew. On the deck above from the central staircase is the sky lounge aft. It’s a little less formal than the main salon below however this space still oozes charm and attention to detail. Take in the large full-length mirrors with black lacquer borders lining the walls, chic to say the least.

As the wow factor moves to the next stage, a curved cocktail bar fits beautifully into the port side corner. With its solid black varnished surfaces and black bar stools upholstered in a jet black quilted leather, this bar is really inviting. To match the bar stools, there are four chairs at a glass topped games table.

Three pale grey sofas make an unbelievable centrepiece around a square coffee table wrapped in black leather. When it comes to luxurious fabrics, there’s everything you could imagine. From mink throws to crystal-encrusted cushions as well as unique glass vases and amazing ornaments.

Amazing sundecks

Outdoors Silver Angel has a fantastic sundeck that’s extremely generous in size. The Art Deco theme is continued while the monochromatic colour scheme, chrome details and geometric patterns appear throughout. The sundeck is lined with sun pads and plays host to an oval Jacuzzi pool. The pool area is enclosed by glass sundecks that protect guests from the wind but don’t spoil the splendid views.

Another way to enter the yacht is via the aft deck which leads onto the al fresco lounge. The lounge is shaded by the overhang of the deck above and provides an unrivalled greeting area. The intricately sculptured pillars frame a white upholstered U-shaped sofa with charcoal coloured cushions. Enjoy a favourite cocktail or two at the white corner bar on the aft deck while listening to the latest entertainment systems.

Throughout your yacht charter voyage there will be lots of opportunity to lounge around. Why not socialise with friends or family on the upper deck aft? Built-in sofas lie underneath two black parasols which will keep you cool from the hot sun. For al fresco dining for up to 16 guests, a long glass table lined with black and white chairs makes a beautiful setting.

Al fresco lounge

The al fresco lounge area has another bar and a staircase to starboard that sweeps majestically up to the sundeck. This truly offers crème de la crème outdoor living, great for fun and relaxation. Let’s move on to the forward section of the sundeck. Climb up half a dozen steps which lead to a raised pool and sunning area. Clad in sand-blasted travertino, a material that’s used in high-end outdoor furniture, you couldn’t be in better surroundings.

Another of Silver Angel’s enticing features is a large mosaic, sunken pool with resistance jets. Tiny yet elaborate ebony and silver mosaic tiles form a “silver angel” that glitters below the water’s surface. After taking a refreshing dip, you can then dry off on one of the luxurious sun pads.

On the lower deck, a spacious bar in the lounge area with chunky furniture creates another place to chill out. If it gets a little too hot during the day, large parasols provide shade from the heat. There’s also a covered, central atrium which comes complete with more sun loungers and a dining table.

The teak decking that runs across the entire deck, full-length windows and a skylight ensure the climate on board is always comfortable. In addition to this, for guests who enjoy those sea breezes, a glass screen can be lowered – heaven!

Behind sliding glass doors is the aft third of the deck. With lots of room to move around, this space is lined with free-standing furniture as well as a good selection of chaise longues. Do you fancy a round of golf? Then try the retractable TEEIT golf machine. Great fun! The remaining deck area on board Silver Angel has a drop-down, teak swimming platform.

No superyacht charter is complete without an exciting range of water toys. Silver Angel has an armada of exhilarating water toys. These include jet skis, kayaks, scuba diving equipment, inflatable paddle boards, wake board equipment and diving gear. Want to try your hand at fishing? No problem. This charter yacht also has two sets of deep-sea fishing tackle, fishing rods and four sets of light tackle fishing rods.

The kids will absolutely love the inflatable water slide from the sun deck. For more excitement, there are banana boat rides, doughnuts and alligator rides. No doubt mom and dad will love to test their skills on one of the two F5 /S Sea-Bobs, kneeboards or kiteboards. For guests who enjoy snorkelling, a miscellaneous collection of fins and snorkelling equipment is available. There’s also a compressor room for enthusiastic scuba divers whether beginners, amateurs or professionals.

YachtCharterFleet takes a closer look at the award-winning 65m/217ft motor yacht ‘Silver Angel’ and finds out what makes the 2009 custom Benetti such a shining success.

There is no denying that Silver Angel has her very own, unmistakable identity. Not only is she said to be one of the finest examples of a Benetti and Stefano Natucci collaboration, but her interior from Argent Design is a modern showpiece of glittering Art Deco style.

While admiring superyacht Silver Angel  on the water, it would be a surprise to hear that, at 1,400 GT, she has one of the highest volumes for a yacht of her length.

What makes this so astonishing is how her low, dynamic profile does little to hint at the incredible spaciousness within, which is able to accommodate 12 guests in a huge master suite with an adjacent private gym, steam bath and dedicated massage room, a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck and five en-suite guest cabins on the lower deck.

To ensure her sleekness, naval architect Natucci has employed a number of clever styling techniques. These include a long black stripe that frames the main deck windows, the gentle curves of the supports and windows, and a slender radar arch perched atop the sundeck.

Equally impressive is her long range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, which makes her ideal for extensive world cruising and charter. And, whether at anchor or underway, her four fin stabilizer system ensures the utmost comfort. 

Impossible not to notice once aboard, however, is the shimmering, monochromatic interior from London-based Argent Design, whose contemporary take on the glamour of the 1920s has been beautifully brought to life by the incredible craftsmanship of Benetti .  

For the most striking welcome, step aboard Silver Angel via her main starboard entrance, where walls of black veneer dramatically contrast a smooth white marble staircase and floor, the latter of which is decorated with sparkling inlays of Lalique crystal.  

Adding to the shiny surfaces are large mirrors on the wall and ceiling, and a silver balustrade topped by a banister of white onyx on the grand, sweeping staircase.  

Stylistic themes introduced here are continued throughout the entire motor yacht , particularly the limited colour palette of black, silver and white, the use of multiple reflective surfaces and the exquisite artistry of only the finest materials.

A slip of corridor leads off the lobby aft into an extraordinarily opulent main salon. Lacquered walls of ebony-stained oak are punctuated by large windows and glass cabinetry, and the marble underfoot is replaced by a pale grey carpet.

Twelve silver framed chairs are placed around a glass-topped, rectangular table for the ultimate formal dining setup and, further aft, three curvaceous, white sofas face a low, glass coffee table to form a sumptuous lounge.

Different textures are provided by a variety of silver scatter cushions and vibrant green plants again enliven the scene. The symmetry of the furniture and surrounds, and the sultry grow created by the layered lighting are also references to the Art Deco influence.

Charterers rest assured that while unwinding or entertaining in the main salon - as well as any of the other guest areas on board - there will be no unnecessary intrusion from the 19-strong crew thanks to the well-designed layout of the interior.

On the deck above, the corridor seamlessly flows from the central staircase into the skylounge aft. Although slightly less formal than the main salon below, the space has still been treated to an exceptional amount of attention to detail.

Huge, full-length mirrors with black lacquer borders line the walls, radically enhancing the perceived amount of space available as well as highlighting the myriad reflective materials.

A curved, cocktail bar neatly fits into the port-side corner, wowing with its solid black, varnished surfaces and black bar stools upholstered in a jet black, quilted leather. Matching the bar stools, four chairs then join a glass games table to starboard.

Further aft, three pale grey sofas centre on a square coffee table wrapped in black leather. Luxurious fabrics such as mink throws, and silk-fringed and crystal-encrusted cushions, and glass vases and ornaments continue the preoccupation with all things lavish.  

Stretching across the forward section of the main deck is a full-beam master suite, offering equal measures of extravagance and comfort for the principal charterer.

Replicating the style of the main salon, the spacious sleeping quarters centre on a large, aft-facing black lacquer bed with matching low, elaborate cabinetry and a huge mirrored headboard. White bed linen and upholstery, and a crystal dressing table provide further contrast.

Behind the bed are two dressing rooms to starboard and port, which lead through to his and hers onyx-clad bathrooms. A highlight is the bath tub in the ‘her’ bathroom that was carved from one single piece of stone.

Before entering the sleeping area, guests pass a gymnasium to starboard complete with a six-person Turkish hammam, while opposite to port is a sleek office finished in black leather and finished in the same black veneer. 

Demonstrating just how much volume Silver Angel is bestowed with, there are another five staterooms situated on the lower deck and an upper deck VIP suite. All take on the same design as the master suite with detailed ceiling patterns and private en suites.

Likewise, the exterior deck areas aboard charter yacht Silver Angel are extremely generous in size and, in unwavering dedication to the Art Deco theme, maintain the monochromatic colour scheme, chrome details and geometric patterns.

Another way to enter the yacht is via her aft deck, where an alfresco lounge shaded by the overhang of the deck above provides a superb greeting area. Intricately sculpted pillars frame a u-shaped sofa in white upholstery, charcoal cushions offset the look and a white corner bar serves cocktails to port.

Opportunities for lounging and getting together with friends and family continue on the upper deck aft. Built-in sofas line the aft-most bulwark, shaded by two black parasols, while a long, glass table lined with black and white chairs provides alfresco dining for up to 16 guests.

There is yet another bar here and a staircase to starboard sweeps up to the sundeck, which is designed to offer the very best in luxurious outdoor living, with a rare yet welcome emphasis on fun and relaxation.

On the forward section of the sundeck, half a dozen steps lead up to a raised pool and sunning area clad in sand-blasted travertino – a material that is used in all of the exterior furniture. Glass windbreakers protect the wind, while still allowing for fabulous views of your cruising grounds. 

The sunken pool with resistance jets is another of the yacht’s unforgettable features. A whole host of tiny ebony and silver mosaic tiles form a ‘silver angel’ glittering beneath the water’s surface and, after taking a dip, guests can dry off on the surrounding sunpads.

On the lower level, a large bar lines the starboard side opposite a lounge area with oversized furniture. Parasols overhead provide shade here but for a more effective retreat from the sun there is a covered, central atrium, complete with more lounging options and a dining table.

Teak decking, which runs across the whole deck, full-length windows and a skylight ensure the climate-controlled space remains connected with the outside world, and a glass screen can be lowered for those who enjoy sea breezes. Yet plush details such as an ornate geometric design on the ceiling replicate the opulence of the interior below.

Sliding glass doors open to reveal the aft third of the deck. Extremely open, the space is lined with free-standing furniture, including a selection of chaise longues and a retractable TEEIT golf machine can be set up here for those who fancy a round.

With the foredeck reserved for the storage of tenders, the remaining guest deck area aboard Silver Angel is a drop-down, teak swim platform. There is enough room here for a couple of deck chairs and a row of mirrored doors beyond which is more storage for tenders and toys.    

The platform is also designed as a place to board and access the extensive collection of on-board water toys. There is also a dedicated compressor room for those scuba divers among your party and an black inflatable water slide, which deploys from the sundeck.

After spending time on the water trying out the water toys, guests can then indulge in a massage from the on-board therapist in a dedicated massage room.

SILVER ANGEL offers accommodation for 12 guests in seven lavish staterooms. The full beam master suite is a masterpiece, as are all her staterooms, all of which have been furnished in the same opulent style as her main guest areas. 

Providing the ultimate charter experience, SILVER ANGEL boasts several bars, a Hammam and massage room, a fully equipped air-conditioned gym and a Tee-It golf machine. For those looking to get out on the water, she also carries an array of water toys including jet skis, scuba diving gear, and every conceivable towable toy, all of which can be access with ease from the large swim platform. 

SILVER ANGEL offers guests an abundance of space to relax. Her stunning sundeck houses one of the most impressive spa pools to be found on any yacht. The raised oval Jacuzzi is surrounded with sun pads and glass windbreaks and is the perfect place from which to enjoy uninterrupted views. There is also a bar and further sumptuous seating, with a large coffee table and armchairs. Throughout her outdoor guest areas the use of travertine adds to the luxurious feel that SILVER ANGEL provides. Large alfresco dining areas are situated on both her upper and main deck aft areas, providing ample opportunity to change the scene throughout a charter.

The SILVER ANGEL yacht is a 64.5m superyacht launched in 2009 by Italian shipyard Benetti and delivered later that same year. 

She is the 16th largest yacht built by Benetti and the 377th largest yacht in the world.

SILVER ANGEL Yacht Interior

The SILVER ANGEL yacht interior was styled by British studio Argent Design. 

This magnificent yacht has an Art Deco style that extends to her three aft decks in a more tropical variant. 

As a tribute to her name, she features a themed-silver interior with a high gloss dark oak paneling, white Onyx furniture, and silver leaf. 

Argent Design decided to decorate the vessel with custom-made pieces of furniture and fixtures and Lalique inserts. 

She was designed to accommodate up 12 guests in seven suites, as well as 19 crew members, including the captain on board. 

With one master suite, one VIP cabin, three double cabins, and two twin cabins, the yacht can accommodate guests in ten beds in total, including one king, four queen, and four singles. 

To make the charter vacation even more entertaining, she is equipped with a great variety of amenities, like a jacuzzi, sundaes, sun deck, swimming pool, gym, deck jacuzzi, beach club, air-conditioning, and WIFI. 

The swimming pool is located on the sun deck and is covered with mosaic-tiled.

As for her toys, she has diving equipment, jet skis, water skis, sea bobs, wakeboards, kayaks, doughnuts, fishing equipment, an inflatable tower and trampoline, a floating pool, and a kite surfer. 

SILVER ANGEL Yacht Exterior

The SILVER ANGEL yacht exterior was designed by Stefano Natucci and was built in steel hull and aluminum superstructure. 

She has an ultra-contemporary and impeccable white exterior design, as well as zero-speed stabilizers to reduce the roll motion effect. 

This superyacht includes a Novurania fully customised Semi-Rigid Tender. 

SILVER ANGEL Yacht Specifications

The SILVER ANGEL yacht has a 12.0m beam, a 3.2m draft, and a gross tonnage of 1,407. 

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines (2,260HP), she cruises at 15.0 knots but can reach a top speed of 16.0 knots. She carries 170,00 liters of fuel and 45,000 liters of water on board. 

The yacht includes a PADI Certified Training Center and a masseuse to help guests relax. 

Her summer cruising locations are France, Italy, Monaco, Malta, Corsica, Ibiza, Sardinia, The Balearics, Amalfi Coast, and French Riviera.

Her weekly rate during this season goes from 425,000 to 450,000 EUR plus expenses. 

From October to April, she cruises in the Maldives, Seychelles, and the Caribbean Sea with a starting rate of $425,000 per week. 

The SILVER ANGEL yacht is not currently for sale, but it has a price of $40 million and an annual running cost of $4 million.

Motor yacht SILVER ANGEL is a 64.5-meter heavy displacement long-range oceangoing superyacht, designed specifically for extensive world cruising. History of Perm Krai

For the first time the word “perm” was mentioned in “The Tale of Past Years”, a fundamental source in the interpretation of the history of the Eastern Slavs created in the early 12th century. Perm were one of the peoples who paid tribute to the Kievan Rus. They were found by the first Russian expeditions to the Urals, to the north of the Kama River basin. Later, in Russian chronicles, this territory was called Old Perm or Perm Vychegodskaya.

Unlike Perm Vychegodskaya, the land along the upper reaches of the Kama River became known as the Great Perm. This name is often found in the written monuments of the 14th century. In the 14th - 17th centuries, the Great Perm included extensive lands along the Kama from its origins in the west to the Ural mountain range in the east, and from the upper reaches of the Pechora River in the north to the Chusovaya River in the south.

Novgorod merchants were the first ones who got interested in the Great Perm (furs and tributes). In the 14th - the first half of the 15th centuries, the Grand Duchy of Moscow began to encroach on the lands in the upper Kama. In the early 15th century, the first Russian settlements were founded in the Great Perm.

More Historical Facts…

In the second half of the 15th century, after the Novgorod Republic ceased to exist, the area became part of the united Russian state. Russia significantly expanded its borders to the east and gained access to new natural resources.

In the 17th century, the town of Sol Kamskaya (Solikamsk) became an important center of military, economic and cultural assimilation of the Middle Urals in the north. In the south-east, the newly constructed town of Kungur played the same role. In the first quarter of the 18th century, about 46,000 people lived on the territory of Great Perm, about 65% of them were Russians.

Until 1727, the Middle Urals was part of Siberian gubernia with the center in Tobolsk, then Perm was part of Kazan gubernia, and, from 1781, by order of Catherine II, the Perm region ruled by a governor-general was formed.

It remained the main mining area of the Russian Empire until the end of the 19th century. There were more than 110 mining plants producing cast iron, iron, steel. For a long time, it was the main provider of copper. Salt production was also developed. In the east of the Urals large deposits of platinum were discovered. By the end of the 19th century, gold mining grew twice.

The 20th century was marked by intense growth of the local industry: engineering structure became more complex and rich. During the Second World War, more than 120 plants were evacuated in the Western Urals. Such branches of industry as chemical, non-ferrous metallurgy, oil-processing developed intensely; oil deposits prospecting began; a number of pulp and paper mills was concentrated in the region; new towns grew on the basis of new industries.

In 1938, Perm Oblast was formed. In 1940-1957, it was called Molotov Oblast. In Soviet times, the Komi-Perm Autonomous District was part of Perm oblast. In 1993, with the adoption of the Constitution of Russia, it became an independent subject of the Russian Federation.

In 2003, a referendum was held in which the residents of Perm Oblast and the Komi-Perm Autonomous District supported the unification of the two regions into one. In 2005, these two administrative regions ceased to exist and the united Perm Krai was formed.

Perm Krai - Features

The territory of Perm Krai is located in the basin of the Kama River, which provides access to 5 seas (the Caspian, Azov, Black, Baltic, and White). The length of Perm krai from north to south is 645 km, form west to east - 417.5 km.

The climate is temperate continental. Winters are long and snowy. The average temperature in January is minus 18.5 degrees Celsius in the north-east and minus 15 degrees Celsius in the south-west, in July - plus 18.6 degrees Celsius.

The largest cities and towns are Perm (1,043,000), Berezniky (134,700), Solikamsk (91,000), Chaikovsky (81,300), Kungur (63,600), Lys’va (58,800), Krasnokamsk (51,000), Chusovoy (42,700). The national composition according to the 2010 Census: Russians (87.1%), Tatars (4.6%), Komi-Permians (3.2%), Bashkirs (1.3%), Udmurts (0.8%).

Perm Krai is rich in various natural resources: oil, natural gas, coal, mineral salts, gold, diamonds, bog iron ore, peat, limestone, precious and decorative stones, construction materials. One of the largest deposits of potassium salts in the world - Verkhnekamskoye - is located here. It occupies about 1,800 sq. km., the thickness of salt-bearing layers reaches 514 m. Forests, mostly coniferous, cover about 70% of the territory.

This region is one of the most economically developed regions in Russia. The basis of the local economy is highly developed industry. The main branches are as follows: oil, chemical and oil chemical, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, wood processing. All potassium fertilizers in Russia are produced here.

Attractions of Perm Krai

The most famous museum in Perm Krai is the Perm Art Gallery that has the world-famous collection of Perm wooden sculpture and one of the richest in Russia collections of masterpieces of Russian icon painting. The museum of local lore in Perm has a number of interesting exhibits telling about the nature of the Kama region, its rich historical past from prehistoric times to the present day.

Not far from Perm, on the high bank of the Kama River, you can find “Khokhlovka” - an architectural and ethnographic museum covering an area of 42 hectares. The museum has unique wooden buildings of the 17th-19th centuries. Every summer, various folk festivals are held in the territory of this open-air museum.

In the south-eastern part of the region, in the town of Kungur, there is a unique natural monument of nationwide importance - Kungur Ice Cave. This is the only cave in Russia adapted for excursions. The old town of Kungur, founded in 1663, is a historical town with about 70 monuments of architecture.

Solikamsk is one of the oldest towns in the Urals. There is a unique museum of salt here. The town’s architecture reflects the techniques of Moscow architecture of the mid-17th century and the local tradition dating back to pagan times.

There is a number of interesting places along the Chusovaya River connected with many historical events, well-known figures of Russian history (Ermak, Stroganov, Demidov, Emelyan Pugachev). On its way the river crosses several mountain ranges, therefore, on its banks there are many picturesque rocks.

There are several architectural monuments in the towns of Osa, Usolye. Belogorsky Monastery and Gubaha Ski Resort are also worth mentioning.

Roma communities in Perm Krai: historical and ethnical aspects

Two large groups of Roma are settled in the territory of Perm Krai, the Ruska Roma and Kalderari. Roma live both in cities and countryside. Roma living in the countryside keeps elements of traditional culture. In Perm Krai we can find different families of the Ruska [Russian] Roma: Gorbovichi, Nemzengery, Bashnengery, Polyaki, Sapuny, Gubany. In contrast to the Kalderari the community of Ruska Roma is based not only on family-territorial principle. Sometimes community is based on ethnic-territorial ground when the Ruska Roma living in an urban area despite family ties can be a part of the community. Traditional activity of Ruska Roma living in countryside is a seasonal grazing of livestock. One of the main sectors of activity is trading. Roma sell cars and jewelry. Kelderari live in compact groupings in Perm. They call themselves Moldavska Roma and consider themselves to be part of Ruvoni [wolf in Romani language] family. Traditional activity of Kelderari is metal work (especially tin-smith’s work) which impact also their modern business. The main work activity of men till now is working with metals such as base metal trading and metal items repair. Traditional women activity is fortune-telling. Bilingualism, traditional way of living, ethnic isolation, unique and particular material and spiritual culture are common for all of Roma. The main problems for Roma nowadays are safeguarding of ethnicity and as well as some educational and social issues.
