Rudy answered the phone gave me some great advice. Later we met Amy & Matthew and started looking at boats. We looked at their boats, we looked at boats in the S. sound, Seattle area, Victoria B.C., I went to Sacramento, Ca. and LaPaz ,B.C Mx. with their help and advice. Finally found a boat in Vancouver B.C. The knowledge they have together is great and personal advice is like something your friends or family would say to you. Speaking of family and friends, that's how you'll be treated. My wife and I have found a great boat with their patience and support along with a team of great people who just want to share their world with you. WE LOVE THESE GUYS! We just took delivery of a boat we bought from BBB. These folks are the best in the business. Amy, Cap't Gary, Matthew, Rudy and the rest of the BBB crew are about the most responsive group we have ever worked with. When anyone from BBB tells you they're going to do something, it gets done. We have never worked with a broker who took the time to get to know us and to understand what we wanted. Buying from BBB was the best experience we've ever had buying anything! Boat, house or car. They took care of every detail. Helped find mechanics, detailers...they set up the sea trials, drove us places, just couldn't do enough for us. These folks are the real deal. No nonsense. No lies. No smarmy sales pitch. Just down to earth nice folks. You can trust them. They will take good care of you regardless of the size or price of the boat you're looking for. BBB folks treat everyone the same, with respect and care...and a little humor too. I would never buy a boat from anyone else.

Would recommend BBB to anyone looking to buy or sell a boat. Amy has been an amazing help in our search for a new boat. She's knowledgeable, straightforward and fun to work with. And even when we can't use her services to do a deal she is still getting comps, providing advice, and making referrals to surveyors for us. You can not go wrong with Amy & Matt in your corner!

My husband and I are in the process of buying our second boat from Banana Belt. Amy & Matt couldn't be more accommodating, helpful and honest in their business dealings. There are NO high pressure sales tactics or lack of service after the deal has closed. When you choose BananaBelt Boats you get service before, during and after your purchase. They have your best interest in mind and help you at every turn by recommending good mechanics and services of all kinds, dry storage at a reasonable price and haul ins and outs, etc. You feel like your dealing with long time friends you can trust.

I have sent 2 emails requesting information about a boat this company has for sale. I used the company's on-line request form. I have received no email response or phone call from anyone at the company. If the company is using on-line request for information why don't they respond to the request. Most people search on-line before they go look at a boat purchase and if the company is not responding to the formal on-line request, I guess they aren't really looking to sale boats or get people in to look at their inventory, apparently they have to much business to pay attention to their web site requests. If this company wants to get people in to look at a boat to purchase maybe they should pay attention to their web site. I have no desire to drive 3 hours from my house to get to this company and find that they either don't have the boat I was looking at or they did not give all the information they should have about the boat. This company just lost a potential $64,000 sale.

I posted a negative review for the General Manager, Matthew Thornton, but it was the result of a misunderstanding. He's really a good guy and very coscientious about serving his customers both before and after a sale.

They do a good job during a boat purchase, but afterward you can't reach Matthew Thompson, the General Manager. Very disappointing.

Truly amazing experience working with BBB. Confession: I was "a difficult buyer", probably the kind that brokers and sellers wish would simply Go Away. Not once during the buying process did Amy (nor her team) treat me with anything short of respect and a kind of hilarious determination...to find US the right boat. BBB is a family business and once you're onboard you too, are treated as family- if you want filters and your ego massaged, gently go elsewhere. Oh yeah, and access to the boats isn't a mystery- they are mostly right in their yard, immediately available to see inside and out. Can't say that for most brokers. Most importantly as a buyer, Amy reacted appropriately to survey findings (inevitable on used boats) and, armed with that info, doggedly negotiated with sellers. Although she represented the owner as a broker, she REALLY wanted us to end up walking out the door satisfied. THAT is the sign of integrity!
