YACHTS A LUCK (ex. Corinne) - was proudly launched on November 21st, 1987.... Built in Wisconsin by Burger Boat Company She is a fine example of a highly customized 80 foot aluminum raised pilothouse cruiser.

The interior of YACHTS A LUCK is matched teak with a custom stain finish. The interior design and decorating was accomplished by her original building family. The main lounge is highlighted by an all teak bar on the port side and entertainments center on the starboard side, each being L-shaped with matching L-shaped teak overhead. Special lighting gives this room a very enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere for entertaining. The aft stairwell has a handcrafted satin finished stainless steel balustrade with teak handrail, inlaid with stainless steel banding. A powder room is located in the forward port corner of the lounge with interior finish of bronze plexi-view mirror with teak trim. There is a formal dining room, also finished in teak. A built-in buffet located forward with mirrored doors houses individual lined compartments for china, silverware and glassware. To the starboard side of the dining room is a custom built fold-out teak serving table. The pilothouse is finished in custom stained teak. Flooring in this area is natural teak with maple splining. The observation seat is leather covered. There is also a removable rest at the wheel stand. Electronics and Navigation Equipment are abundant and sure to impress any yachtsman.The flying bridge features wraparound seating and two helmsman chairs. There is a small bar with sink, refrigerator / ice maker, single unit grille, bottle and glass storage. Navigation equipment includes full engine instrumentation and controls and repeat pilot house electronics enabling operation of the yacht from the bridge. She is powered by a pair of Detroit Diesel Allison 12V92TA Diesel engines. David began his career in yachting in the early 1990's as a Corporate Controller and CFO with The Allied Marine Group. In 1994, David joined Broward Marine as CFO where he met Robert Cury and together worked as the senior management team. Raymond Young joined Hatteras of Lauderdale after graduating from University of Tampa, Florida. He has captained yachts extensively on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans including the Western Mediterranean. He currently holds a 1600 / 3000 Ton USCG Master License, as well as a MCA CLASS IV license.

Raymond has been involved with the construction of several large yachts including a custom 82' Hatteras, 112' Broward, 98' Westship, along with a 124', 141' and 157' Christensen. He managed each project from contract, to delivery, to captaining.

Over the past 20 years, Raymond has developed a wealth of knowledge from building, managing and running yachts. How rat-ical: rat burger is now the latest food craze in moscow.

Chef Takhir Kholikberdiev, who owns Krasnodar Bistro in Moscow has been driving people ratty with his burger made out of nutria, or river rat.

The rodent has been described to "breed at an alarmingly fast rate", which allows for easy farming.

Kholikberdiev says the nutria is a "really clean animal" and is high in omega-3 acids.

The priced at 550 roubles (S$12) has been described by The Guardian as being juicy but bland, tasting like a cross between turkey and pork.

Kholikberdiev claims that the meat remains juicy no matter what the cooking time is.

The bistro also serves nutria in hot dog and dumpling forms.

Newport International Boat Show set for Sept. 12-15. What to know.

NEWPORT – The Newport International Boat Show will take place Sept. 12 to 15 at the Newport Yachting Center Marina.

The Newport International Boat Show spans over 15 acres with six connecting show sites within historic downtown Newport, according to a news release. Visitors can walk the docks and view a spectacular display of new sailboats and powerboats, some making their debut in the United States. This year there’s an acre of even more boats to see throughout show, including a brokerage basin, with both power and sail boats ranging up to 110 feet now on display for the first time. On the land side, visitors will find hundreds of marine products, services and accessories to enhance the boating lifestyle.

Educational presentations and tech talks

Also on deck are the Cruiser’s Classroom, located Below-Deck at the Hammetts entrance to the Show, an educational experience featuring interactive presentations covering an array of marine-related topics such as boating, fishing, safety, boat maintenance and financing 101. Tech Talks are hands-on technical training classes for boaters of all experience levels led by American Boat and Yacht Council expert and Boat of the Year judge Ed Sherman (registration in advance is required for this course as seating is limited).

New models on display

As the kickoff for boat show season, many exhibitors launch new models for the first time in the U.S. at this show. Keep an eye out for the red and blue Newport for New Products Awards Program decals and burgees indicating each boat or product entry. Industry experts will judge each entry on opening day and awards are given in several categories. All winners will be announced Friday, Sept. 13. This year the program is featuring more than 40 new product and boat debuts, both power and sail.

The Windward VIP Lounge

New for this year, the show is offering an exclusive experience with the Windward VIP Lounge, a private oasis with views of Narragansett Bay and the ocean sounds of an active waterfront. It includes a premium open bar, gourmet food served all day, private restrooms and a place to relax and lounge, indoors and outdoors, and daily must-see pop-up activations.

Craft cocktails, chowder, burgers and more

The Bohlin Tent, located at the end of Commercial Wharf, is a place to take a pause to enjoy music and a variety of offerings for sale like Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers, Fishers Island Lemonade, Francis Ford Coppola, Newport Craft Brewing, Springline Coffee, Tequila Ocho, Sobieski Vodka, or Via Corota offering craft cocktails. Showgoers can also grab a quick bite at Wally’s Wieners, Castle Hill Inn and Food Love Market offerings, Newport Chowder Company clam chowder, Smoke House burgers and pulled pork sandwiches, and more.

“Expanding on the successful momentum of the past few years, we have added a number of brand-new experiences and activities to delight and entertain our visitors,” said Jocelyn Emory, marketing director of Newport International Boat Show. “Every year, we try to build an incredible event for our attendees, and we are proud to debut many of these offerings this year. Opening Preview Day is Thursday, Sept. 12, sponsored by Discover Newport and Marsh McLennan Agency, and the ticket price is $40. A One-Day General Admission ticket if purchased now through Sept. 11 is $31 or day-of tickets are $33, valid any one day Friday-Sunday.

Windward VIP Lounge One-Day Tickets  are $275. It is recommended to purchase digital tickets in advance. Digital tickets will be scanned at entry of the Windward Lounge. This VIP ticket is admission to the Windward and is your admission to the show for any one day of the Show. Visitors must be 18 or older to enter the Windward VIP Lounge. Limited quantities available.

Parking and show hours

The best place to park in town is at Easton’s Beach in Newport.  A parking pass is $40  per vehicle and we recommend securing your spot by purchasing online. There will be continuous, complimentary shuttles to and from the show site (only 1.5 miles) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On August 27, Tuesday, Hulu subscribers can tune in to check out Only Murders in the Building Season 4, as part of the Hulu schedule for the week. The latest season of the mystery comedy-drama follows Charles, Oliver, and Mabel as they travel to Los Angeles to investigate a new mystery. However, the trio is surprised by Hollywood’s intentions to make a movie based on their podcast, Only Murders. Not long after, the trio heads back to New York to investigate dark secrets held by the residents of Arconia’s West Tower.

Then, on August 30, Friday, Something in the Water drops on Hulu. The story follows five girlfriends who reunite at a destination wedding and rent a boat to spend time together at a paradise-like coast. Unfortunately, they are thrown into a dangerous situation involving sharks and other problems, which tests their survival instincts and their friendship.

Also releasing on Hulu this week is Chaos Walking.

Chaos Walking is a sci-fi action-adventure based on Patrick Ness’ novel of the same name. The story follows Todd and Viola, who form an unlikely alliance as they embark on an adventure across an unexplored planet while dealing with the Noise-a disorienting phenomenon experienced by males where their inner thoughts are seen and heard by others. Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley star as Todd and Viola, respectively.
