What is Rolex Everose Gold? A Complete Guide

Rolex Everose gold

If you have done your research and browsed some Rolex watches, you can’t help but come across the term ”Everose Gold”. Just like all of Rolex’s own-made, proprietary materials, Rolex heavily use the names in their communication in order to highlight that it is developed and owned by Rolex.

But what exactly is Rolex Everose Gold? Let’s look closer at this material.

What is Rolex Everose Gold?

Rolex Evorose gold can most easily be described as rose gold. Unlike standard yellow gold, rose gold is not 100% gold. In fact, Rose gold is generally a mixture of classic yellow gold, silver, and copper metals. Rose gold is sometimes also known as pink gold due to its pink hue

But standard yellow gold in the context of watches is not 100% gold either. The gold used in Rolex watches (and pretty much any gold watch) is 18K, which means it’s 75% gold by weight no matter what color it is. The color variation occurs as a result of the different materials used in composing the other 25% of the alloy.

24K (100%) gold is almost never used in jewelry for durability reasons.

But what does Rolex’s own proprietary rose gold alloy – Everose gold – look like?

Of course, being Rolex, it’s not just any rose gold we are talking about here.

Rolex first introduced the Everose gold in 2005. Rolex has used rose gold for its watches long before this, but the alloy used has not been their own. We should bear in mind here that Rolex is the only watch brand that has its very own foundry. This gives Rolex great advantages of research and development for new alloys.

Rolex Yachtmaster 116655

The primary element in rose gold that gives it its pink hue is copper, but the issue is that copper can change color over time, in particular, when in regular and repeated contact with corrosives such as saltwater, and particularly chlorine . Over time, this can make rose gold lose its original luster. And being Rolex, which strives to make ”Perpetual” products, which are meant to look the same for decades to come, regular rose gold simply wasn’t good enough.

”18 CT EVEROSE GOLD – AN EXCLUSIVE PATENT

To preserve the beauty of its pink gold watches, Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: Everose gold. Introduced in 2005, 18 ct Everose is used on all Rolex Oyster models in pink gold.”

Rolex needed a rose gold that would keep its original sheen, hue, and luster for decades to come. Rolex’s answer to this is Everose gold.

Everose gold is a mixture of pure gold mixed with copper and platinum. According to Rolex, this alloy will never lose its red color. It is thanks to platinum that the color is maintained. And according to Rolex, its color will not be affected by any external factors, which is an issue otherwise.   Everose gold contains at least 76% gold and slightly more than 2% platinum. With Rolex’s secretive way of conducting its business, that is as detailed information about the alloy’s ingredients as you get. Like all other gold alloys, the Everose gold is made by Rolex in its own foundry.

The first model to be made in Everose gold was the Daytona.

Rose gold is sometimes perceived as a metal primarily for women, but this is certainly not the case. In particular, when we are talking about the rose gold from Rolex.

Rolex’s proprietary Everose gold is quite toned-down and subdued, which makes it quite discreet. Much more discreet than the bold and bright yellow gold. As such, this is why people who prefer a more discreet look opt for versions made in Everose gold. It is a metal chosen by both men and women – and which looks equally good on both genders.

Just a small correction: “Unlike standard yellow gold, rose gold is not 100% gold.” “Standard yellow gold” in the context of watches is not 100% gold either. The gold used in Rolex watches (and pretty much any gold watch) is 18K, which means its 75% gold by weight no matter what colour it is. The colour variation occurs as a result of the different materials used in composing the other 25% of the alloy.

Thank you for the well-summarized info of gold. We just added it to the end of this article

Many thanks again!

I noticed that the Rolex Daytona EverRose Gold Watch I purchased from Their boutique is not as dark bright pink as the previous ones before. The Boutique told me that they have removed some of the Copper and added more platinum. Are you aware of this?

Hi, Yes, Rolex did make a change to its rose gold which made it less “flashy” and bright pink. In addition, Rolex consistently make minor updates and changes to the materials that they use to give them better properties and/or looks.

HANDS-ON: The ultimate his and hers watch – the Rolex Yacht-Master 40 Everose Rolesor

Rolex-Yacht-Master-40-Everose-Rolesor-1

Last year Rolex released the stealth-wealthy Everose, Cerachrom and Oysterflex Yacht-Master 40 ref. 116655 , a watch that shifted the skipper’s watch from the periphery of the catalogue to front and centre. It all but stole the show. This year Rolex’s renewed interest in the line continues, with this sumptuous Rolesor version, topped off by a new chocolate dial. It’s a combination that well and truly ignites the category of the ‘couple watch’, perfectly viable for him, or her, or better still, for both.

Rolex-Yacht-Master-40-Everose-Rolesor-2

This is not an under-the-radar watch (as you can see from our video review ). If the polished Everose centre links and softer sand-blasted bezel didn’t automatically rule it out, the deep sunburst of the brown dial seals the deal. And even though it’s no shrinking violet on the wrist, it’s far from gaudy. There’s a great balance to it – all the elements and finishings are in harmony with each other. The dial would overwhelm a plainer case, and the gilt logo and red ‘Yacht-Master’ text add some variety and balance to the otherwise overwhelming combination.

Rolex-Yacht-Master-40-Everose-Rolesor-slider

It’s also a Rolex that truly offers you the best of both worlds. Not only does the two-tone watch offer the utility of steel and lustre of gold, as well as a pleasing mix of sports and leisure, it’s also a truly unisex piece. 40mm is on the larger size for a woman’s watch – but by no means would it be considered oversize. And the warm tones and precious metal combo means that it doesn’t come off as just another ‘boyfriend’ watch. On the other hand, the classic Oyster design ensures that ‘delicate’ isn’t a word that would ever be used to describe this piece.

This Rolesor and Everose Yacht-Master is undeniably rich, but not so over-the-top as to stop you wanting more.

Rolex Yacht-Master Everose Gold Facts

Rolex 268655 Yacht-Master

The ideal first mate for the season of fun and travel

If your summer plans involve exotic destinations, tropical beaches, and lazy days aboard a yacht, then the Rolex Everose gold Yacht-Master may be for you. Just over a year old, this sporty, yet ultra luxurious piece of wrist wear from the famed Swiss watchmaker continues to make waves among Rolex fans for its distinct aesthetics and reliable precision. If you’re in the market for the Everose gold Yacht-Master, here are five facts to consider.

Rolex Everose Yacht-Master

1. The Everose gold Yacht-Master is available in two sizes

The cases of the Everose gold Yacht-Master are crafted in an 18k pink gold alloy exclusive to Rolex prized for its exceptional sheen and durability. There are two case size options to choose from – 40mm (ref. 116655) and 37mm (ref. 268655) — making the Everose gold Yacht-Master ideal for both men and women.

Rolex Everose Gold Yacht-Master 37mm reference 268655

2. The Everose gold Yacht-Master sports a black ceramic bezel

For all its attractiveness, the Everose gold Yacht-Master can still be considered a tool watch thanks in part to its bidirectional rotatable bezel with 60-minute markings that can be used to time events. Aside from the bezel’s practicality, it is also robust since it is constructed from a ceramic alloy that Rolex has dubbed as Cerachrom. Cerachrom will not fade when exposed to the sun and is highly resistant to scratches. A perfect fusion of beauty and beast.

3. The Everose gold Yacht-Master is waterproof to 330 feet

This being a nautical-inspired watch, the water resistance capability of the Yacht-Master is, of course, important. The trio of the Triplock screw-down winding crown, the fluted caseback, and the sapphire crystal protecting the face make the Oyster case of the Everose gold Yacht-Master watertight and allows the watch to safely plunge to 330 feet (100 meters) deep.

Rolex Everose gold Yacht-Master

4. The Everose gold Yacht-Master is presented on an Oysterflex bracelet

A first for Rolex, when the Everose gold Yacht-Master made its debut in 2015 it was outfitted with what looked like a rubber strap. However, upon closer inspection, it is not a run-of-the-mill rubber strap, but rather a titanium and nickel bracelet coated with rubber and christened the Oysterflex. Not only is the bracelet durable enough to withstand extended periods in the sun and salt water, but it also provides supreme comfort via the patented cushion system made up of rubber pads to allow for air circulation. The black Oysterflex bracelet is finished off with an 18k Everose gold Oysterlock clasp to safely secure the timepiece in place.

Rolex Everose gold Yacht-Master

5. The Everose gold Yacht-Master is precise to -2/+2 seconds a day

As with all other modern Rolex watches, the Everose gold Yacht-Master is COSC certified, yet it boasts a precision of -2/+2 seconds a day, which is actually twice as precise as the parameters set out by COSC. The 37mm version is powered by the Rolex Caliber 2236, while the 40mm version is equipped with the Rolex Caliber 3135. The Yacht-Master 268655 will be one hot watch.

Review: Rolex Yachtmaster 40 Everose Rolesor Ref 116621

yachtmaster everrose

For fans of Rolex, Baselworld 2016 was all about the stainless steel Daytona finally receiving a ceramic bezel and a dial modification.  The new Air King also hit the headlines for its new iteration.  The new addition to the Yachtmaster lineup was under the radar and didn’t receive as much attention.   For the first time the Yachtmaster is available in a combination of 904L stainless steel and 18ct Everose Gold.  We take a closer look at the Rolex Yachtmaster 40 Everose Rolesor Ref 116621.

The Rolex Yachtmaster can be looked upon as the blinged up version of its older brother in the Rolex lineup: The Submariner.

Previous tool watches produced by Rolex were developed with input from professionals in respective fields.  The Submariner and Sea Dweller were developed with the French diving company COMEX.  Pan Am approached Rolex to develop a timepiece that could help pilots keep  track of a  2nd timezone, which resulted in the creation of the GMT Master.   The  younger brother of the Yachtmaster,  the Yachtmaster II was developed with professional yachtsmen in mind with its world first programmable mechanical countdown timer with memory for yacht races. The Yachtmaster can be seen as taking its design roots from the Submariner and evolving them by tweaking certain elements such as the bezel and dial materials to attract a luxury yachting clientele with its nautical name.

That being said the Yachtmaster is still an attractive looking timepiece and the latest model released at Baselworld is no exception.

The Case, Dial and Hands

The case is 40mm in diamater and is manufactured from 904L stainless steel.  The case has been polished to a mirror shine to provide a contrast to the Oyster bracelet which is a mixture of brushed stainless steel and the polished centre links of 18 ct Everose gold.    This combination is referred to as two tone & Rolex have used the word “Rolesor” since 1933 to describe the combination of steel and a precious metal.   The dial is a sunburst chocolate colour which has a nice depth to it. One special feature of the Yachtmaster dial is the printing of the word “Yachtmaster” in red.  We wish Rolex could do the same for the Submariner!    Depending on the amount of light hitting the bezel and the dial, we feel like nicknaming this model the Root Beer as the colour projected is pretty close to a glass of root beer!

rolex-yatchmaster-dialup

The Everose gold elements work well with the chocolate dial, especially the bezel.

Completing the dial is the date at the 3 o’clock position where the iconic cyclops sits above it on the sapphire crystal  The dial is further extenuated by the 18 ct pink gold hour markers.  The Mercedes shaped hour hand, the minute hand and seconds hand are made from matching 18ct pink gold.  All of the hour markers plus the hands have been filled with Chromalight, ensuring a bright glow for maximum legibility at night.   The graduated sixty minute bezel with raised markers is made from 18ct Everose gold and has a thicker font to it.

Unlike the Submariner, the bezel of the Yachtmaster is bi-directional and and it does not have a luminescent dot fitted to the triangle marker in the bezel.  The two tone Oyster bracelet comes with the Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link, which is always useful on a hot day if your wrist has swelled and the bracelet becomes a tad tight.  The watch is water resistant to 100m, which means you can get it wet from the waves splashing on your wrist, as you sit on the deck of a yacht or decide to take a dip in the ocean.

rolex-yatchmaster-dial

The movement

Like all Oyster models, the new Ref Ref 116621 contains a solid caseback so unfortunately the movement cannot be viewed.  Powering the watch is the in-house self winding Calibre 3135 with anti magnetic Parachrom Bleu hairspring.  It has a power reserve of 48 hours.    In addition to COSC testing, after the timepiece is fully assembled  and cased it goes through further testing by Rolex to ensure an accuracy of −2/+2 seconds per day.  It may not be finished to haute horlogerie standards but it is a very reliable calibre.

3135M

The in-house self winding Calibre 3135

Concluding Thoughts

The new Yachtmaster 40 Everose Rolesor is a nice addition to the Yachtmaster lineup.  Rolex does two-tone coloured watches very well and the combination of the stainless steel and 18ct Everose gold for the bezel and centre links for the bracelet, works harmoniously.  The bezel gives off a warmth in addition to the chocolate dial being quite subtle.  At S$ 18,920 it is reasonably priced and you are getting the reliable and solid build quality a timepiece manufactured to last.  Is it a true Yachtsman’s watch? Not really, but it wouldn’t look out of place while cruising on a nice yacht with your friends in the Caribbean.

The Yacht-Master’s new Oysterflex bracelet, developed by Rolex and patented, offers a sporty alternative to metal bracelets. The bracelet attaches to the watch case and the Oysterlock safety clasp by a flexible titanium and nickel alloy metal blade. The blade is overmoulded with high-performance black elastomer which is particularly resistant to environmental effects, very durable and perfectly inert for the wearer of the watch. For enhanced comfort, the inside of the Oysterflex bracelet is equipped with a patented longitudinal cushion system that stabilizes the watch on the wrist and fitted with an 18 ct Everose gold Oysterlock safety clasp. It also features the Rolex Glidelock extension system, designed by the brand and patented. This inventive toothed mechanism, integrated beneath the clasp, allows fine adjustment of the bracelet length by some 15 mm in increments of approximately 2.5 mm, without the use of tools.

To preserve the beauty of its pink gold watches, Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: Everose gold. Introduced in 2005, 18 ct Everose is used on all Rolex Oyster models in pink gold.

The Yacht-Master’s bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel is made entirely from precious metals or fitted with a Cerachrom insert in high-tech ceramic. The raised polished numerals and graduations stand out clearly against a matt, sand-blasted background. This functional bezel – which allows the wearer to calculate, for example, the sailing time between two buoys – is also a key component in the model’s distinctive visual identity.

Model Availability

All Rolex watches are assembled by hand with the utmost care to ensure exceptional quality. Such high standards naturally restrict Rolex production capacity and, at times, the demand for Rolex watches outpaces this capacity.

Therefore, the availability of certain models may be limited. New Rolex watches are exclusively sold by Official Rolex Jewelers, who receive regular deliveries and independently manage the allocation and sales of watches to customers. R.F. Hands-on with the Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 (Everose gold on Rubber Strap) – Live Photos & Price

yachtmaster everrose

Rolex may have a new CEO , it’s not meaning that things are going to radically change for the old house. The ‘Crown’ is known for just updating and improving the collections instead of entirely changing them. For Baselworld 2015, you won’t be surprised to see that the recipe had been kept. However, one of the classics is receiving an important update. Here is the new edition of the Rolex Yacht-Master now in Everose gold, with a ceramic bezel and with a rubber strap.

The Rolex Yacht-Master was one of the few Rolexes that wasn’t updated. The rest of the collection – Submariner , Explorer II, Milgauss or Sea-Dweller – had received, at least, a small update or a more important change. However, all of them are keeping the same base and weren’t a totall renewal of the existing models. The recipe for this new Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 is exactly the same: keeping the same bases and adding the new technologies – and another important (at least for Rolex) novelty.

Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 everose rubber - 1

The first thing that had been updated on this Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 is the 40mm case, that now comes in 18K rose gold (or Everose as Rolex likes to call its own alloy). Previously available only in stainless steel (with a platinum bezel) with both a silver or a blue dial, the Rolex Yacht-Master now turns to precious metal. The case however is not totally the same than in the stainless editions. The case bands are slimmer and the lugs are more curved, to better fit the wrist. Of course, the typically Rolex fluted caseback is still here and is also executed in 18k rose gold. Water resistance is still at 100m.

Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 everose rubber - 2

The face of the watch is also updated with new materials and colors. As you’ve probably noticed, the bezel keeps its raised numerals and its 60-minute scale but it now comes in black Cerachrom (Rolex own ceramic), with numbers and graduations polished on the top while the background remains matt, in order to allow a good contrast. The dial also shares this same deep black color and comes with gold applied indexes filled with white luminous material. The rest, from the crystal (with no antireflective coating), to the cyclops or the Mercedes hands, remains the same as the stainless steel edition. The same goes for the movement as the Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 still sports the calibre 3135, a robust, in-house automatic movement with date and chronometer rated (by COSC).

Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 everose rubber - 4

The big novelty is however in the strap. For the first time, Rolex comes with a Rubber strap. That might be something quite random for most of the brands but for Rolex collectors, this is big. This black Oysterflex bracelet is made in a very soft and flexible rubber. Due to longitudinal cushion system that stabilizes the watch (two very soft rubber bands on the internal part of the strap), it feels extremely comfortable on the wrist, making the Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 a real pleasure on the wrist. This Oysterflex bracelet is fitted on an 18k Everose gold Oysterlock clasp.

However, don’t imagine having this strap on another of your Rolex, as the attachment is specific to this new edition of the Yacht-Master and won’t fit any other watch.

Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 everose rubber - 8

These Baselworld 2015 additions to the Rolex Yacht-Master are bringing some real good fresh air to a watch that used to be in the shadow of the Submariner. Without being an addict of gold watches, we have to admit that the contrast between the rose gold and the black accents – dial, bezel and strap – is pleasant and not too showy. This new Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 will be priced at 18.200 Euros (Ex. taxes).

This is a fabulous watch created by Rolex and I enjoyed your report immensely!

My only grouse is though your pictures are fantastic, one cannot enlarge these pictures by clicking on them, so I shall be delighted if you can do something in this regard.

Absolutely beautiful but unfortunately out of my price range.

Never stop dreaming, Steve! I can remember saying that about watches that I now own.

How much is it? Looks amazing!

May I ask how is the rubber strap adjusted? Cutting dare I ask?

@Allan, this strap will be available in several sizes to fit every wrist. No need to cut it.

I have this watch and its very nice

Does anyone know if the oyster flex bracelet can be changed for the standard oyster bracelet? Thanks

Where can I get hold of the steel version?

Watches In The Wild The Road Through America, Episode 1: A Model Of Mass Production

There is big news, and there is Rolex big news, and in some ways, ne'er the twain shall meet. At Baselworld this year, Rolex debuted a first for the company: the very first, ever, Rolex delivered on a rubber strap. Now, for most companies this would have little effect on watch enthusiasts other than to evoke (very) tepid interest at best, and boredom at worst – but this is not an ordinary rubber strap, this is an official, designed-and-tested-and-thoroughly-obsessed-over-by-Rolex rubber strap. And thereby hangs a tale.

The Yachtmaster, as we have mentioned in some of our previous coverage , occupies a somewhat particular place in Rolex’s lineup of sports watches; it shares water-resistance and a turning bezel with the Submariner (the latter is water resistant to 300 m while the Yachtmaster standard model is water resistant to 100 m). It is certainly not a tool watch; the Yachtmaster is offered in either platinum and steel, or gold and steel (that’s Rolesium and Rolesor, lest we forget) and is either quietly or unequivocally luxurious depending on what size and metal you go for (Rolex makes the Yachtmaster in both 35 mm and 40 mm sizes).

The Yachtmaster’s history goes back to the first introduction of the watch in 1992, although the name, interestingly enough, appears on the dial of a prototype Yachtmaster Chronograph from the late 1960s (a watch so legendary I am actually forced to use the word; one of three known is in the collection of Mr. John Goldberger; we covered it – and a host of other remarkable ultra-rare watches from his collection – in a very memorable episode of Talking Watches ).

The term “Yachtmaster” is also, incidentally, used for a certificate of competency in yachting which is issued by the Royal Yachting Association, although we’re unaware of any specific association between the RYA and the Yachtmaster watch.

Now, this newest version of the Yachtmaster does take a few pages from the existing Yachtmaster playbook: 100-meter water resistance, a bidirectional turning bezel, and a dial and hands that echo the Submariner. There are also a couple of features that may make vintage Sub enthusiasts wonder if Rolex mightn’t have an exceedingly subtle sense of humor; the gilt coronet and “Rolex,” and the red lettering, both features which according to HODINKEE founder Ben Clymer would have, had they appeared on a Rolex dive watch, made it instantly the single most popular watch in the modern Rolex inventory. The case is rose gold – Rolex famously makes their own, called Everose, in their own foundry, with a bit of platinum mixed in to prevent discoloration – and the bezel, rather than being some other precious metal (as is the case in the “standard” Yachtmasters) is in black Cerachrom – a very technical-looking matte black that contrasts sharply with the gold case. Somehow, between the rose gold, the Cerachrom bezel, and the new Oysterflex bracelet this manages to be the most luxurious and at the same time most technical Yachtmaster yet (leaving aside the Yachtmaster II, which we recently reviewed right here , but that is a watch that marches to the beat of a different drummer entirely).

The two different versions of the Everose Yachtmaster (40 mm and 37 mm) sport different movements; the larger uses the caliber 3135 and the smaller, the newer 2236, which sports the “Syloxi” silicon balance spring (first used by Rolex in 2014).

The Oysterflex bracelet is, in a nutshell, quite a piece of work. One of the most endearing traits of Rolex as a company is that it tends to demonstrate what we can only describe as a laudable degree of corporate obsessive-compulsive disorder when it comes to research and development, and it does so, often, without making any sort of fanfare about it at all. In this case we do know a little bit about the Oysterflex, however – it is basically designed to have the hypoallergenic and comfort properties of a rubber strap and the durability and shape-retention properties of a bracelet.

At the core of the Oysterflex bracelet are metal inserts made of titanium and nickel, which are used to affix the bracelet to the clasp and watch case; over those is a sheathing of “high-performance black elastomer.” “Elastomer” is a portmanteau word, formed from “elastic” and “polymer” and is a general term for natural and synthetic rubbers. In addition to the materials complexity of the Oysterflex bracelet, it is also shaped in a rather unusual fashion – there are ridges molded into the the wristward face of the bracelet, which are intended to allow the bracelet when worn to better approximate the natural curvature of the wrist.

yachtmaster everrose

They might look a bit odd but in practice, the design works out quite wonderfully; this is easily the most downright comfortable and organic-feeling rubber strap I have ever worn, and like the entire watch manages to be both extremely technical in feel, and very luxurious at the same time; I doubt whether any company has ever taken so much trouble over the design of a strap (for all that Rolex prefers the term “bracelet” in describing the Oysterflex, habit dies hard and you’ll probably find yourself calling it a strap, just as we did). On the wrist, the two stabilizing ridges do exactly what they are supposed to: keep the watch from shifting, as heavier watches on rubber straps are wont to do, without requiring you to have the strap uncomfortably tight. The Everose Oysterlock clasp does a superb job mechanically and also looks fabulous into the bargain; the quality of finish on the clasp and case may not seem terribly elaborate at first, but it is as technically flawless as anything I have ever seen at any price, on any watch.

yachtmaster everrose

What we have here, in other words, is a very Rolex interpretation of luxury. Yes, this is a gold watch, and a gold Rolex, and wearing a gold Rolex always carries with it, shall we say, certain semiotic complexities. However there is also another side to the watch, and to the Rolex approach to luxury in general: the taking of such pains to produce technical perfection that technical perfection becomes a luxury in itself.

The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 37 in 18 kt Everose gold with an Oysterflex bracelet.

The oysterflex bracelet, highly resistant and durable.

For enhanced comfort, the inside of the Oysterflex bracelet is equipped with a patented longitudinal cushion system that stabilizes the watch on the wrist and fitted with an 18 kt Everose gold Oysterlock safety clasp. It also features the Rolex Glidelock extension system, designed by the brand and patented. This inventive toothed mechanism, integrated beneath the clasp, allows fine adjustment of the bracelet length by some 15 mm in increments of approximately 2.5 mm, without the use of tools.

18 kt Everose gold

An exclusive patent

To preserve the beauty of its pink gold watches, Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 kt pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: Everose gold.

Introduced in 2005, 18 kt Everose is used on all Rolex Oyster models in pink gold.

Bidirectional Rotatable Bezel

Timing the distance.

Intense black dial

Exceptional legibility.

Like all Rolex Professional watches, the Yacht-Master 37 offers exceptional legibility in all circumstances, and especially in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display.

The broad hands and hour markers in simple shapes – triangles, circles, rectangles – are filled with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting glow.
