In 2011 the Blue Marine Foundation launched the Blue Marine Yacht Club (BMYC). Under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert of Monaco the Blue Marine Yacht Club is uniting the global yachting community around its mission to protect 10% of the world's oceans by 2020.

Owners, brokers, builders and marinas are joining the BMYC to express their love for the ocean and desire to protect its future.

Ralph Lauren has designed a burgee for exclusive use by BMYC members, who fly it as an elegant symbol of their commitment to marine regeneration.

Launched in 2012 by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, Blue Marine Yacht Club (BMYC) was formed to unite the world’s yachting community in a clear mission to protect our oceans.

The BMYC brings a modern approach to environmental protection. Whether a yacht owner or company, the BMYC provides a platform in which supporters can express their concern for the ocean and desire to protect its future. By donating, providing their support and expertise, they are part of a project that is bringing about real change in the way our oceans are cared for. They are providing a legacy for the world that their children and grandchildren will look back on with pride.

All donations received through the BMYC go directly to support Blue Marine’s work around the world and its mission of protecting at least 30% of the world’s ocean by 2030.

BMYC members play an active role in ensuring that our seas remain a resource to be enjoyed by future generations. It is only through acting together that we can really make a difference.

Supporters of BMYC are recognised by three tiers of membership which indicate the level of commitment and their donation to Blue Marine and the ocean environment.

Since its launch, the BMYC has attracted influential supporters from the yachting industry including: Ernesto and Kirsty Bertarelli, Sir Charles Dunstone, Peter Lürssen, Winch Design, Imperial Yachts, Benetti, Feadship, Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Matthew Freud, and Simon Le Bon among others.

CORNISH SHRIMPER 21

A fine cornish crabbers shrimper 21 traditional style sailing yacht in very good order is for sale with vivid blue marine. well maintained and well equipped, 'imposter' was built in 2016 by cornish crabbers of cornwall. she is gaff-rigged with furling headsail. both her sails are in a medium tan colour. she is powered by a yanmar 9hp inboard diesel engine. the shrimper 21 such as ‘imposter’ was a later addition to the shrimper range and designed to retain the classic finish and quality but with greater amounts of space and a few new features. having a lifting keel a vessel of this type is ideal for cruising or exploring inshore. ‘imposter’ has been the ideal boat for the channels and creeks of chichester harbour. imposter’s rig has all of the cornish crabbers optimised features making her simple to prepare for launch and sailing. a very simple track & strap mainsail attachments streamline the rigging process. unusually for a boat of this size the standard boat features a yanmar 9hp inboard diesel. this sets her apart from the other trailer sailors on the market. imposter has a large, deep, protected, self-draining cockpit with space for six adults. children (and parents their parents) will feel secure within the coamings. the cockpit boasts large lockers housing batteries, water and gas with space to spare. down below there is a double vee-berth forward (with a plumbed-in sea toilet tucked away for when required). there are two full size single berths in the main saloon. the galley has a double gas burner and fully plumbed sink. imposter is a beautiful example of these popular boats and is ready to sail., looking for something specific.

The 42.01m/137'10" expedition yacht 'The Big Blue' (ex. Imbros) was built by Troy Marine in Turkey at their Kocaeli shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Luiz de Basto Designs and she was completed in 2009. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Ugur Isik and she was last refitted in 2013.

Guest Accommodation

The Big Blue has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

The Big Blue is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Volvo (D16 MH) 739hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 4,300 nautical miles from her 58,999 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 18,998 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.
