Cramm passerelles are the perfect, safe and quick system for boarding your superyacht. Our passerelles are designed to perfection, providing you with an elegant and timeless entrance for your guests and crew.

You can select from a wide range of standard modular solutions or fully-customised boarding equipment to meet your wishes and demands. For both options, we use the best available materials, deliver total service and assistance during the entire project, and guarantee maximum safety while operating.

To reach the quay, our modular equipment passerelles have a maximum reach of up to 10 metres . When a longer passerelle is required, Cramm can offer you a customised passerelle in any desired length.

Based on the available space, Cramm offers three different types of passerelles: non-telescopic, single telescopic and double telescopic, with non-telescopic requiring the most build-in space and the double telescopic the least.

Extendable Lorry

When space is extremely limited on the yacht, the extendable lorry offers the ideal space-saving solution. The double telescopic lorry system can store two lorries on top of each other, reducing the required length enormously compared to a standard lorry; the height of the box is doubled to just only 650 mm. This space saving enables other equipment and systems to take maximum advantage of the available space in the yacht.

Our series of passerelles are of lightweight construction, manufactured from aluminium and the very latest materials. This results in a high torque stiffness, minimal bending and a weight reduction of 25% to 35% compared to the previous series.

Due to the sturdy design, the deflection of the passerelle free off the quay with a maximum load of 250 kg is limited to a minimum and one of the best you can get in the market. Super Yacht Quality

To increase the service life of our products and give the yacht equipment a quality finish, all products are faired and painted using the highest yacht-quality paint available. Furthermore, to guarantee a high-quality result, at Cramm we use the best brands for all teak and hydraulic components on our boarding equipment. All Cramm passerelles meet uncompromised quality and design standards (ISO, LY3).

Our experienced team that delivers outstanding craftmanship and the use of the very best materials, enables Cramm to deliver extended warranties on equipment to cover the period from delivery at the shipyard to the transfer of the vessel to the owner and beyond.

Rotating or Fixed

Cramm offers two standard systems for using the passerelle in every docking position. Our fixed passerelle system is ideal for docking with the stern to quay, with no rotation needed within the passerelle to board the yacht.

Using the rotating slewing frame, the passerelle can be rotated towards the quay at an angle of 90° on both sides. Furthermore, when docking and an obstacle is in the way, the slewing frame can easily reposition the passerelle to the sides without the need to re-dock the yacht.

Specifications

To reach the quay, our modular equipment passerelles have a maximum reach of up to 10 metres , the maximum slewing point lenght is up to 2 metres.  Cramm offers 3 standaard sizes for the walkway width to minize the engeneering cost: 800 MM – 1000 MM and 1200 MM . Other dimensions are always on request.

Passerelles

Gangplanks distributed by Yacht-Tek. These specialist Passerelles are designed for one person to handle and deploy with ease. The folding models are really easy to stow aboard and for the solid version there is a very practical bag for the gangway to be safely stored outside.

These extraordinarily light and manageable Passerelles are extremely quick to use, making this boarding system a valid alternative to heavy and bulky hydraulic Passerelles.

Passerelles have a wide non-slip walking surface. They are designed to a maximum load capacity of 350 kg making for a safe, comfortable crossing from ship to shore dependant on the passerelle purchased.

The single telescoping type passerelle is a tried-and-true Nautical Structures design that enhances the stowed efficiency as well as the deployed range of motion of the plank. Standard hydraulic self-centering, slew-lock, and float functions eliminate the need for finicky limit/proximity switches making this one of the safest and most reliable planks available today.

Double Telescopic

The double telescoping passerelle is a design that increases stowed efficiency of the plank. By doubling the plank sections the ratio of stowed length to deployed length is increased, allowing the passerelle to stow in an even more compact area in the vessel while allowing all of the same standard safety features as the single telescoping version.

The Nautical Structures Fold Over Passerelle series is another designed aimed at creating creative solutions for maximizing rigidity, deployed length/size, and safety while minimizing the stowed length and interference with vessel systems and structure. SUMURUN for sale

SUMURUN sailing yacht is a classic 35m yacht from the legendary William Fife & Sons’ yard on the Clyde, who once served members of European royalty.

With a history as romantic as her profile, Scottish-built SUMURUN launched in 1914 as an extravagant gift from a baroness to her husband and has since travelled the world, proving her prowess from the Med to the Caribbean. Her good looks belie the vagaries of over a century on the water.

Exterior Design & Engineering

Originally launched as a gaff rigged yawl and later adapted to become a Bermudan rigged ketch, SUMURUN yacht is much loved by classic yacht enthusiasts due to her elegant aesthetic and her swiftness on the water.

SUMURUN had a succession of high-society Owners for the first 60 years of her life before being bought by an NYYC member, and this former SUMURUN yacht owner raced her hard on both sides of the Atlantic, regularly maintaining her.

SUMURUN sailing yacht was a regular contender on the regatta scene from 1989 to 2015. In 2016, SUMURUN yacht changed hands and under her new Owner she underwent an extensive multi-million Euro rebuild at the Chantier du Guip yard in Brittany, which saw her rig redesigned by Juan Kouyoumdjian and new spars added by Pasqui of Villefranche-sur-Mer, as well as structural improvements.

After a few years away from the regatta circuit she returned to the Mediterranean regatta scene in 2019 just in time to win her class at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez.

With assisted power from a 249hp Cummins 6BTA engine, SUMURUN yacht has a top speed of 9.5 knots and cruises at 7.5 knots.

SUMURUN yacht comes with bundles of timeless nautical character, from her deck box with concealed binnacle and helm seat, to her gleaming ship’s bell and traditional ship's wheel on a bronze Thomas Reid pedestal.

The cosy doghouse and welcoming salon, which includes a dining table, sofa and three chairs, a writing desk, bookcases, a bar, a dresser, and an all-essential trophy cabinet, provide ample comfort for serious sailors.

There are lots of unintrusive modern touches, too, like the stereo in the salon, Owner’s cabin and on the aft deck, as well as wifi and a Bluetooth sound system throughout the yacht.

In addition, SUMURUN yacht comes with a folding swim platform and a 5m passerelle for ease of boarding.

Interior Design

SUMURUN’s interiors are beautifully fitted out in English Oak panelling, both raised and fielded, most of which is original. The attention to detail is astounding, particularly in the salon, which is a masterpiece.

Few, if any, classic yachts have benefitted from the sympathetic and costly upkeep that SUMURUN has, with constant upgrades and maintenance ensuring that she has one of the most beautifully executed interiors of any yacht afloat.

SUMURUN yacht can accommodate five guests in three cabins, including an Owner’s double to starboard and a single berth to port as well as two Pullman berths, with banquette stowage and drawers under and a writing desk aft. There is also room for up to six crewmembers across three crew cabins.
