The Flying Tiger 7.5 is a high performance sportboat and is available for you to sail and race now. This FT7.5 is hull #100 and comes with a brand new set of Elliot Pattison CARBON FUSION sails as well as a new EP Spinnaker. Included is a Triad trailer. Older North composite sails are also included – good training/practice sails. This boat is priced to sell – all proceeds support Maricopa Youth Mariners Jr and High School sailing program.

Seller's Description
2014 Flying Tiger 7.5 with trailer is for sale. Yes, this was one of the National One Design fleet. It is perfect for day sailing or as a club racer, with a proven stable platform to go fast. It is in good shape. It has a carbon fiber mast, boom, and retractable sprit. I have recently purchased some standing rigging and lines (2020), a new North square top mainsail and medium jib (2020 – aramid NLXi09v2), a new North A2 asymmetric (2020 Airex 600 Bain), a new 2020 Suzuki 3.5 4hp outboard engine. It also comes with a Velocitek Prostart and various safety equipment. It is in indoor storage awaiting her new owner.
Specs are: LOA:24’10”, Beam: 8’1”, Draft 6’ down, Displacement 2150lbs

The Flying Tiger 7.5 is a scaled-down version of Perry's Flying Tiger 10M design, with more of a design emphasis on family sailing, as the 10 M requires a heavy crew to sail. The 7.5 hull uses aft chines to add stability and make planing easier. The rig was developed with input from sailmaker Bob Pattison of Neil Pryde Sails and the spars were designed by CST Spars of Sydney, Australia.

To that end the 7.5M has chines aft to add stability while also making the hull easier to plane, as the chines do flatten out the buttocks aft. The bow of the 7.5M is not as fine as the bow on the FT 10M, and the L/B of the 7.5M is 3.1, compared to 3.56 on the FT 10M. The D/L of the 7.5M is 86 with the boat in measurement trim.
