  • Operational Schedule We operate shared boating sessions every: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from Memorial day weekend to the third Sunday in September. 10a.m. to sunset (8P/7P) 8a.m. to 10a.m. session available upon request with 6+ seats and confirmed 10am session All sessions require a minimum of four seats booked 48 hours in advance to be confirmed for operation. Additional seats can be book anytime up until departure pending availably. “CONFIRMED” will appear in the session title after four or more seats have been booked. Numbers will appear next to the session title when only 1-3 seats are filled. If neither confirmed nor a number other than the time appear in the title that means no one has booed. *Private charters are available every day of the week with a 4 hour minimum for week days and pre and post season dates and a 2 hour minimum for in season Friday-Sunday. Operational hours will be expanded as members and demand grow. Events, such as kids camp, will be held outside of operational hours. Keep an eye out for announcements pertaining to these. Member walk-ups are accepted during confirmed sessions with open seats.
  • Session Bookings: when and how can I book? When can being to book Sessions for each season? -Starting April 1st each and every season -General Booking? On site click Sessions tab -->From our event (sessions) calendar find a day and time you want and find a sessions with the available number of spots you wish to book. Make sure you're logged in before booking as the rate for members will be cut in half at checkout. Sessions must be booked 48 hours in advanced with a minimum of 4 seats booked to be confirmed as operational. Once 4 total seats have been booked the sessions title will be updated to include the word "Confirmed" so you can know if you're joining a confirmed session or must check back to see if others booked to confirm the session you have booked. If you see this you can book under 48 hours. If you book before it says confirmed and you book under 4 seats make sure you hav done so more than 48 hours in advanced and check back to the session on site to see if the session title has been updated to "confirmed" to know if your session will run. On occasion we will find people to fill up session under 48 hours when people have booked with less than 4 total seats booked. So also check 12 and 24 hours in advanced to your session or contact us. Refunds for cancelled sessions can take place unto 48 hours before or after the scheduled start time. -Why book sessions It's the only way to prevent over booking of high demand sessions and the boat sitting empty while staffed with no bookings. In short it makes your life better and allows us to keep our prices more affordable than any other competitor nationwide.
  • Why do I Need To Purchase A Membership If I Have To Pay Per Session? Memberships allow us to run our business at a lower cost; saving you money and increasing the members value/experience. Having membership and allowing members to drive the boat our insurance is a fraction of the cost of a boat rental company as well as members take better care of our equipment and treat it as their own. This cuts our operational costs by more than 50% which we then pass on to our members. Less stress and cost for us means less stress and cost for you. Furthermore we have found that our small membership fee tends to weed out all of the people that are the wrong fit for our boat club! So although it creates a small confusion it does us all a favor in the long run. Lastly, having a small amount of financial buy into a club and community creates social buy-in. We are space for people to feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Which would be challenging for a business who's clients are in swim attire and often drinking. But because of our business model we are proud to say we have not had a SINGLE incident in our first two seasons of operation both socially or injury wise. Think of this way. Would you rather be on a boat with people you saw at a Walmart or people you saw at a Costco? (we think we are funny, we hope you do too)
  • How is MemberME Different Than A Traditional Boat Club A traditional boat club for open bow style boats under 25ft charges their members a one time fee ranging between $6,500-$12,000 which is NEVER refunded and is forfeit as soon as the member cancels their membership OR misses one of their $400-$1,100/mo required payments on-going. And YES! They make you pay every month of the year! Yes! Even in winter! Again YES! You have to pay even if you dont use it!. So around $10,000 up front and $4,800-$10,000+ a year in FIXED costs PLUS $100-$500 a day in gas plus you must know how to drive a boat and pay for any damages. At MemberMe we wanted to shake things up and help more people. We didn't want to charge a huge fee you never get back to alienate most of the market. With MemberMe we offer $199/yr Memberships (price valid through October 1, 2023) which gives you access to boating at $25/hr per seat/person including gas unless you want to participate in wake sports for $2/min (price valid through October 1, 2023) We didn't want to charge any members when they are not using services. We wanted something that made a whole lot more sense to a whole lot more people. In short we wanted to simplify boating. Ironically to simplify boating we had to confuse people a little bit with a required membership (see membership QA tab for more details) and a fractional rental model. Cost aside: we wanted to create a premium experience. Even if you want to own a boat or join a boat club it becomes rare that you can ALWAYS find 2 other people who can drive a boat with you to do wake sports, its rare their schedules will synch with yours, and its even rarer they will pay their fair share, and beyond rare they know how to properly drive a surf boat and tow riders. And even if all of that works for you we wanted to take our the stress of operating a boat, damages, and maintenance. Beyond all that; boating is fun but it can be stressful. Some don't want to deal with driving. NO ONE wants to deal with docking. No one wants to deal with the gas bill. NO ONE wants to have that awkward conversation with their friends about how much the day really cost more than boat gas. Everyone just wants to have fun. Bring friends or make friends and boat any day they want in the nicest boat on the water with every detail taken care of. Feel like a celebrity and join us with a MemberMe Boat Club membership. Skip the $7,500 boat club joining fee and for about the cost of ONE of thier months dues you can be boating ALL summer! We see it all too often: The average person owns a boat for 2-3 years because they find out that boat stands for Bust Out Another Thousand and that their friends don't chip in nearly enough to often cover gas much less other cost. The average cost per day to operate a boat you own based on average costs and average days of use is $800 per day PLUS gas! so when your friends all give you $20 each or case of beers for $200 of gas they arnt even making a dent in the actual total costs. Thats why people tend to sell their boats.
  • Which Boats Are In The MemberMe Fleet? We currently have new top of the line Tige ATX Surf Boat, Harris Pontoon boat, multiple wave runners, paddles boards, plus an underwater scooter! Whats that? Come find out today!
  • Refunds Questions More details about refunds can be found in our refund policy linked at check out and in the footer of our site. Here are the highlights: Memberships -Memberships auto-bill each year -You can ask us to cancel this at anytime if you dont want it to auto bill no questions asked or you can do it yourself from your member login on our site. -If memberhip auto-bills and you changed your mind and or don't use your membership at all you can cancel no questions asked for a full refund. -If you purchase a membership and for some reason don't use it at all season 1 you can get a full membership refund. Sessions, Camps, and Special Events -72 Hours + Cancelation: 100% refundable We DONOT CANCEL SESSIONS FOR: Low temps, clouds, or light scattered rain. We ONLY cancel sessions due to lightening, high winds, and high rain. -Sessions require 4 minimum seats booked 48 hours in advanced to operate. If 4 seats are not reached refunds will be automatically issued anywhere from 48 hours before session scheduled start time to 24 hours after. *Exceptions to refund policy: We will not issue refunds if a member is consistently refunding more than 25% of their bookings to prevent anyone from trying to over book the calendar, cancelling more session than they keep, and limiting other peoples usage of MemberMe Boat Club -12-72 Hours Cancellation: Up to 100% refund if you find another member(s) and their guest(s) to take your spot(s). You must do this on your own behalf and send them your tickets and QR code for check in. Unused Sessions: We do not offer any refund or transfer of unused sessions. All prepaid sessions expire 12 months from purchase if pre purchased.
  • Legal Questions, Damages, and Fees" Members: All members are requied to sign a relsease of liability waiver the first time boarding the boat each season as well as each guest. It releases liablity from the company, owners, employees, and even other members incase of any accidents. Regardless of this form being signed or not everyone releases all liability upon boarding the boat each and every time the board or re board the boat as well as an liability happening around the boat or memberme equipment including boats, jet skis, paddle boards, underwater scooter, inflatables, trailers, vehicles, docks, ramps, ropes, ect. Private Rentals: Regardless of insurance there is a $500 minium damage fee to any minor damanges. A $2500 fee for any major damages minium even with insurance. And a $100 cleaning fee minium for excess filth. A $250 flat cleaning fee for puking on the boat if any puke lands inside the boat and not in a bag or overboard. This information are only acknowlegments to our full legal forms, rental forms, and liability waivers, and informing you of the minium fees not the maxium fees.
  • What Does A Typical Session Look/feel Like? What to expect? Book session online at anytime even last minute so long as 4 or more people have already booked. Book for yourself and anyone else you're brining (fellow member or guest). Arrive 5-10 minutes early or even more if youd like to get a drink or food at the Bouy bar. Boarding takes place 5 minutes before the session time and depart takes place 5 minutes after the session start time. Members will be asked if they would like to drive at any time during the sessions. Members will also be asked if they would like to do any wake sports in this sessions. Wake sports are the first focuss with each ride while other enjoy lounging on the boat and swimming when stopping between riders. If no one plans to do wake sports (each session is different) we drive the boat to a near by cove to relax and swim. NOTE: The boat does not simply cruise the entire time. Depending on number of people in the session and the number of people doing wake sports determs how much cruising happens. There will always be a minium amount of cruising for small groups when no one wants to do wake sports We allow all members to bring anything they would like to eat or drink on the boat. We provide an electric cooler, storage for your belongings (not guranteed to be dry storage). We encourage everyone to bring a towel and suncreen. We will always have basic drinks and snacks for purchase. Alcohol is permitted on the boat any sessions starting noon or later. ------ More or less the passengers control the experiencce with direction of the captain. All sessions are "labeled" to offer direction however no session has to stick to this label. Generally what the most amount of people want to do is what will be done with wake sports taking priority as they can alwasy be done in the direction of other desired locations/activities. Boarding: Boat departs dock 5 minutes past the scheduled departure hour OR once all registered passengers are on board (come early get more boating time) Pre Launch: Captain will first welcome you, introduce themselves, go over basic saftey, ask what each passenger wants to do (although the captain shoulud already know if you filled out your form correctly but you're welcome to change your mind) and will also ask if anyone wants to drive. Often allowing a member/kid to drive first in the no wake zone while ballasts fill for wake sports. On the water: Sessions vary depending how many people are on the boat and want to do wake sports. Keep in mind the engine is not always running. So we use wake sessions not only for people to enjoy the sports but for other passengers to enjoy cruising and to get us to an end destination that is further away. Similar to a boat rental the boat and gear is included not the gas. We do this differently and include all gas but it is variable to how many passengers are on the boat and what they want to do. A good rule of thumb might be to set cruising at 5 minutes per passenger on the boat if no one is doing wake sports. If there are no passengers wanting to get towed we plan a short cruise to a destination to do any of the following: tie up, anchor, swim, beach, food/drink/, ect.
  • Boat Rules: What Cant I Do/Bring On The Boat? 1. No shoes can be worn on the boat Slip your shoes off before boarding and put them in designated storage bins for shoes 2. In short: We are chill, be chill, kind, and respectful and you have no worries We have the right to cancel anyones membership at anytime.
  • Social Media & Privacy Of course you're allowed to use your phone on the boat, take pictures, and post pictures! BUT Do not tag people without their consent (always feel free to tag us @MemberMeClub) And DO NOT take pictures or videos specifically of guests not in your party without their consent. If someone is in your photo or video that can be ok. HOWEVER if they are the main focus of your photo without their consent this is like a NO NO. We are building a thriving community full of go getters and we want everyone to respect and support each individual members and guests boundaries, personal space, and privacy. Example: some people do not want a single picture of them with any alcohol in their hand. IF AT ANYTIME you feel someone is or has taken photos or videos of you posted or not posted please discretely inform the captain if you feel comfortable or email or call/text us details.

LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF BEAUTIFUL LAKE COEUR D'ALENE

Yacht Club Sales and Service named to Top 100

cda yacht club

Yacht Club Sales and Service on Lake Coeur d’Alene has just been announced as one of the top 100 boat dealers in America by Boating Industry magazine.

This is the third year in a row that the dealership, as part of Hagadone Marine Group, has received the prestigious award, which is based on “dependable dealers that exceed sales and service expectations,” according to the magazine.

“The Top 100 award recognizes those marine dealers that are unsurpassed in overall business operations, customer service, marketing and professionalism,” said Matt Gruhn, editor-in-chief of Boating Industry magazine.

More than 350 people joined Boating Industry to honor the Top 100 Dealers at a black-tie celebration Nov. 18 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando. The Coeur d’Alene-based Hagadone Marine Group, ranked in 40th place, stood proudly side-by-side with some of the largest yachting operations in the nation.

“Once again, Yacht Club Sales and Service joins a high-ranking list of major marine players,” said Craig Brosenne, general manager of Hagadone Marine Group. “This award is a tribute to our hard-working employees, and to our loyal customers. Thank you for the recognition.”

Hagadone Marine Group represents Yacht Club Sales and Service, as well as Silver Beach Marina, the Boardwalk Marina, The Resort Boat Shop and Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruises.

Boating Industry magazine, an 81-year-old business-to-business publication owned by Affinity Media, a subsidiary of Ventura, Calif.-based Affinity Group Inc. Boating Industry’s editorial team reviewed 243 applications, culled from more than 3,000 nominations. The applications asked both quantitative and qualitative questions regarding all aspects of marine dealer operations.

About Hagadone Marine Group The Hagadone Marine Group, recently named #40 in the Boating Industry’s Top 100 dealers in North America, consists of the Resort Boat Shop and the Yacht Club Sales and Service companies as well as three marinas on Lake Coeur d’Alene: Boardwalk Marina, Blackwell Island Marina and the Silver Beach Marina and the Stateline Boat Storage Facility.

Welcome to Spokane Yacht Club

GENERAL MEETING

Wednesday Dec 7th

7:00pm

cda yacht club

Welcome to the Spokane Yacht Club {SYC} web site. The primary purpose of this site is to communicate to our members about the upcoming activities, events and meetings. It is also a place to share the memories and photo's! Secondly, a new way to introduce our friends and prospective members to all the fun we have to offer! Above all an exciting way to share the fun! Enjoy!

cda yacht club

The Spokane Outboard club was formed in 1954 with 38 charter members, and incorporated in 1954. By mandate of membership, in 1967 the name was changed to The Spokane Yacht Club. In 1961 SYC purchased 7 acres of land with 450 feet of beach on the Spokane River in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. A short time after an extensive property development program began. Most members donated many hours to build a road, launch ramp, docks, restrooms, clubhouse, electric service and many other improvements. In recent years kitchen and other improvements have been made to the clubhouse including new docks in the most recent years. Although a fulltime caretaker lives on the grounds, the property chairman, with the help of a committee, requires the assistance of all members in the annual upkeep and major projects. SYC owns and operates the property for the enjoyment of members and guests.

COMMENTS

  1. Panhandle Yacht Club

The Panhandle Yacht Club, PYC, was founded in 1978 by a few individuals who had a dream to build a private marina that would be family oriented, be of reasonable cost, and that would provide amenities not found at other marinas on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Over the years the facility has continued to improve through the dedicated efforts of its members.
