Vessel Walkthrough:
“SOULMATE” is a stunning example of the popular and highly sought-after Hatteras CPMY with factory cockpit. Gorgeous inside and out, from her bilge to the spacious command bridge, she's an exceptional vessel. Completely updated and ready for your cruising, entertaining or liveaboard lifestyle.
“SOULMATE” is outfitted as a truly seaworthy offshore cruising yacht should be. The massive refit and upgrades just completed last year defy her age and provide her with the look and appeal of a much more modern yacht. Her owners just completed an 8,000 nm journey through Central America and the Caribbean, including 12 countries and transit through the Panama Canal.
When boarding “SOULMATE” through the main salon door, you will be welcomed into the Salon / Lower Helm area. The Salon provides you with ample seating for guests with a couch and matching side chair and two barrel chairs.
Just forward of the salon is the main helm station with panoramic views and sliding doors to both side decks. The beautiful bench seat provides comfort while operating the vessel with all the modern controls, including; two 16” Garmin multi-function displays, chart card reader, 48 mile Garmin dome radar and 72 mile Garmin 6’ open array radar, sirius weather, AIS, Panoptix sonar, auto-pilot, Garmin auto guidance, Naiad stabilizers, digital and analog gauges, bow thrusters, twin engine synchronizer, trim tabs, Victron battery monitors, and three additional Garmin multi-function displays on the overhead control panel.
Proceeding forward from there will take you down one level, where you will find a dinette seating area with pivoting table, that can be used for meals or various activities such as games or other needs. Further forward is the guest cabin with double bunks. Moving towards the aft will lead you to the laundry area on the starboard side, followed by the VIP cabin on the port side.
Aft of the VIP cabin is an entryway into the walk-in stand up engine room housing twin Detroit Diesel 12V-71 engines that produce 650 HP each. The engine room is fully insulated, and features a fold down work table and Craftsman tool chest. Further aft of the engine room takes you to another entryway that leads to the master suite.
The master suite offers the owner plenty of privacy, with a private spiral staircase, a spacious centerline king size bed with storage underneath, dresser drawers, and multiple storage and closet spaces. The room features a TV on a swivel mount and has a mirrored wall and door, as well as 5 windows that flood the space with natural light. For added luxury, the master head also features a bathtub.
Aft of the salon, stepping through the door, you are now on the aft deck shaded by the extended flybridge, fully enclosed with opening windows. Here, you can relax and take in the views with a morning coffee or evening sun-downer, on the built-in L-shaped seating area. This space features a wet bar, refrigerator, ice maker, and chest freezer.
Directly accessible from the aft deck is the sizable cockpit which has space for fishing, gathering, enjoying the outdoor hot / cold shower, or walking through the transom door to the swim platform, perfect for taking a dip in the warm waters. This deck also features a storage locker and a large hatch cover to the full beam lazarette, with massive storage capacity.
Going up the stairs/ladder from the lower helm area will bring you to the fly bridge. You will be pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of space available on this deck. The large U-shaped seating area aft offers plenty of room to enjoy, while the custom hi-low table provides another beautiful place to enjoy meals or drinks, ideal for entertaining. There is a storage locker and Frigibar refrigerator / freezer. At the front of the fly bridge are two helm seats. Navigation from the Flybridge is made possible with all redundant controls including 12” Garmin MFD, auto-pilot, two VHF radios, stabilizers controls, synchronizer and outstanding visibility.
At the aft portion of the flybridge is a 1,500 lb hydraulic rotating davit with hand controller.
