"NEW EARLIER START" The Annual General Meetings of the Sandbanks Community Group and the Sandbanks Neighbourhood Forum will now take place AT THE EARLIER START TIME OF 3PM on Saturday 6th July in the Edinburgh Suite at the RMYC.
All members are encouraged to attend the AGMs and vote for committee members.
The agenda is expected to include:
- Retirements, re-elections and new nominations to the committees
- Update on Haven Hotel site
- Speed cameras and other policing issues
- Rockwater Sandbanks update
- Sandbanks Village Draft Masterplan
- Public Realm improvements to include CIL grants
- Details of SPNF referendum on 18th July
- A short presentation from the National Trust on their project to improve the jetty serving Brownsea Island with a model
The AGMs are expected to last about an hour, followed by a drink on the gundeck at 4.20/4.30pm latest, leaving time to get home for the EURO 24 Qtr. finals at 5pm.
Unfortunately, the RMYC are unable to open the bar on this occasion due to staffing.

The Sandbanks Peninsula Neighbourhood Plan is in its final stages and needs our community support at a referendum to be held in July.
We would like to meet you all to explain the next steps and to recruit new members who live or work in the Plan's area.
You do not have to be a member of SCG to join, though almost all members support both, as we work together on specific projects.

This event, which will be held in Edinburgh Room of the Royal Motor Yacht Club, is open to all SCG members and RMYC members.
The upstairs bar will be open to all attendees from 7pm on the night with the talks commencing at 8pm.
RMYC members and their SCG guests can book supper in the restaurant or bar downstairs from 6pm.
