Two chefs working in a dining room, it is surrounded by a vertical hydro herb garden

A new leaf: The greenest kitchens on board superyachts

Forget flying ingredients in from around the world – today’s superyacht chefs are taking a greener approach, from sourcing locally to growing their own, discovers Georgia Boscawen

We’ve all heard the crazy stories – Caribbean charter guest sends private jet to Japan for prized cantaloupe – and for a long time it was common for superyacht chefs to fly food in from every corner of the globe. Fortunately, times are changing, and the future of provisioning is looking more sustainable, as planet-conscious chefs seek out methods of sourcing produce that are inherently greener.

The approach is multifaceted, from relying on local produce to futuristic on-board cultivating, but it’s not all plain sailing – the conditions for growing food at sea are challenging, as plant cells behave differently when subjected to seawater, ultimately preventing osmosis. Nevertheless, there are some chefs and companies finding innovative ways to make it happen.

“As much as we want it, it is quite hard to move away from [imported provisions] entirely when we are trying to source the best products,” says the head chef of 130-metre of Flying Fox . “But, we will always strive to do so. We will go onshore to the fresh market on a daily or weekly basis and add the local specialities to our menus.”

One of the major hurdles for chefs is convincing guests to reframe their expectations of traditionally “luxury” ingredients – think Beluga caviar, for example, which can easily be replaced by its more sustainable lumpfish cousin. “We have to be realistic here,” says the head chef of an 80-metre yacht and founder of The Superyacht Chef website. “The boss’s wife is going to want Thai mangos flown in, snow crab from Alaska and foie gras from France – it’s just a part of it.” However, chefs are going the extra mile to source equally rare and impressive new ingredients to help make the transition to more environmentally responsible fare, says the chef on board Flying Fox . “We sourced exclusive olive oil from a 900-year-old olive tree. Despite only producing 900 bottles a year, we sourced this product [and now use it in] the yacht’s kitchen.”

Cruising in exotic regions can actually be a golden opportunity to source unusual and exciting ingredients for guests and to help open their eyes to more sustainable options, as Robin Besnard, head chef on board 60-metre Formosa , explains.

“Most of the countries I have worked in while on board Formosa have excellent local products, with everything we need to please a guest readily available, and prices and costs are much more attractive most of the time if we provision locally. As a chef, you always need to adapt, using the products you have to create the best dishes to offer to the guests. It’s challenging and exciting, and it’s what makes this job beautiful.”

The solution, however, isn’t always as simple as relying on local suppliers – when yachts venture further afield, remote settlements often rely on imported goods as much as the provision companies, says Besnard. “Wherever you are in the world, every country imports provisions. In every shop, butcher or supermarket in Costa Rica, for instance, most of the meat is imported from America.”

It would be nigh-on impossible to eliminate imported goods entirely, even when relying on local suppliers who may have to procure goods from overseas themselves. The Superyacht Chef explains that, on average, 80 per cent of the galley would be imported if you are based in America, and this isn’t only because of guests’ expectations. “How long do you sustain more than 30 crew on a diet of [only] plantain, fish and beans, just because it’s local?” he asks.

So, while it may not be possible to rely exclusively on local provisions, there are some yachts out there demonstrating that this isn’t the only route to becoming more sustainable, by venturing into the future and cultivating herbs and vegetables on board.

“On Excellence , I started to grow a range of micro herbs such as bull blood [a beetroot leaf with a sweet and earthy flavour], radish, broccoli, purple basil, red vine sorrel, cress, thyme, lemon balm and pea shoots,” says chef Danny Davies, who, after working as head chef on the 80-metre Abeking & Rasmussen , acted as head chef on board Ahpo , the 115-metre Lürssen new build. “Micro herbs are just the first and second leaves of a regular herb or plant, they are harvested at this point and are packed with flavour and look pretty. "It was difficult to find these micro herbs in and around the Caribbean and Bahamas, where we normally chartered. Flying them in via a provision agent costs a small fortune, but the impact they have on a dish makes all the difference.”

While microgreens are small, they pack a flavoursome punch, which is why they make their way onto most fine-dining dishes. These small and mighty greens are also packed full of antioxidants; a study in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found that they can be 40 times more potent in phytochemicals than their mature counterparts.

The addition of superyacht-grown greens can also pique the interest of those on board, as Davies discovered. “The guests were mainly happy to hear about my green fingers, and a few even came to the galley to see my setup and had a discussion with me about what grows best,” he says.

And growing your own doesn’t always mean relying on the newest technology, as Davies’s relatively simple arrangement on board Excellence proved. “My setup was six black plastic takeaway containers and rockwool [a sustainable mineral fibre] as my growing medium. I ordered seeds from Amazon and got to work,” he says.

“The micros don’t need a lot of space to grow. I watered them every morning with a spray bottle filled with the water and plant food solution, and after eight to 12 days under the lights, they were ready to harvest.” The success of onboard cultivation eventually saw Davies introduce a hydroponic grow tower to grow lettuce, kale, strawberries and basil. “We tried radish, carrots and beets as well, but the winners were the leafy greens.” he adds.

The 62-metre Feadship Sea Owl also demonstrates successful onboard cultivation with her sundeck garden producing a healthy yield of herbs. Jim Dixon, managing partner and creative director at Winch Design , remembers the project well. “With Sea Owl , we incorporated a dedicated herb garden on the sundeck that not only allows the chef to pick from a variety of fresh herbs at any given moment but also eliminates the need to order herbs from elsewhere,” he says.

So, what does it really take to cultivate herbs on board? Axel Massmann, founder of yacht-green, a company that specialises in cultivating green spaces on board yachts, explains the technology. “The technical requirements are a supply of fresh drinking water connected to an automatic irrigation system and a sensor that will measure the humidity.” He adds that given UV light destroys artwork and carpets, superyacht herb gardens will need specialised lighting to protect the interior. After a couple of days’ training, the chef would be able to comfortably grow plants on board – although the notion of becoming entirely self-sufficient is unattainable.

“As human beings, you need so many different elements of plants, you would need potatoes, salad, herbs, and you can’t grow all of that on board. The vessel would have to be 10 times larger than the yacht itself for a family of five and a crew of 10.” Nevertheless, this doesn’t make growing vegetables on board an unworthy cause – in fact, it is quite the opposite. “A yacht is like a spaceship,” he says “and incorporating new technologies on board helps to further its development. Where governments and universities are limited, superyachts can take a vision and help to further its maturity.”

Currently, Massmann is working on a superyacht project called Symbiosis in collaboration with Swiss designer, Kurt Merki Jr and master mariner Glenn Dalby. The project incorporates a couple of new green features on board, including The Sanctum, where herbs, spices and vegetables can be grown and harvested by the chef. And while those in charge of the system would need to be relatively green-fingered to ensure that the plants have what they need, the technology is largely automated, administering water and fertiliser when needed.

NASA has also been researching cultivation systems for long-range space missions, which is how Jason Hirst, the founder of cultivation solution Evogro was inspired to create a cabinet growing system for the imperfect environment. “The cabinet creates an enclosed, protected environment for the plants, and the system is monitored daily by the grow team who are aware of any tasks that need to be done and then inform the catering team to do these tasks,” Hirst explains. “The system would be attached securely so it will not move in rough seas.” Costing £6,800, the Evogro Plant Growing System is just one of the options currently available, and incorporates more than 120 crop models. “Some of the popular crops that our chefs like to grow and typically find difficult to source include nasturtium [which has a sweet and peppery flavour], citrusy shiso, tree spinach, fenugreek and Thai basil.”

So why are these systems likely to become more popular in the future? Hurst explains that it’s not only about miles, but a zero-waste option too. “Food provenance is of the upmost importance to chefs and by using the Evogro system their salad leaves, herbs and microgreens are grown right in their kitchen all year round with zero waste, as you only harvest what you need, when you need it.”

While you may not be able to grow enough produce on board to be fully self-sufficient, the practice is a step in the right direction, saving not only on cost, but food miles as well. Herbs such as those listed above are often difficult to come by and growing them on board means there will be a constant supply, given the right planning. “I would plan in cycles to coincide with charters but after a few weeks at it I was in the groove and every week I had fresh micros to harvest and new seeds to sow,” says Davies.

What’s more, growing cabinets such as the Evogro system are far from costly to run and are powered from a standard 220-240V/50Hz AC supply with a typical daily electricity consumption is 3.2kWh – that translates into approximately 79p per day at average UK electricity prices.

While relying exclusively on local produce may be a little way off, chefs across the industry are taking steps to provision locally while meeting high expectations. Technology to facilitate growing produce on board is here, and we are already seeing the tangible benefits of growing your own on board. Chefs, it seems, are welcoming the challenge with open arms.

Azimut Atlantis 50 foot yacht interior design

A yacht is really just a luxury floating home . When you’re talking 70 feet and larger, they’re a lot nicer than my house. As you’ll see in the luxury yacht interiors below, the quality and aesthetics are simply gorgeous. And we merely feature a small handful of such boats. There are thousands and thousands of these worldwide.

Our epic yacht interiors article is split into 5 galleries:  staterooms, guest bedrooms , salons and dinettes, kitchens and bathrooms. The point of this article is to merely give you a glimpse inside these ultra expensive boats… expensive to buy, run and maintain. Be sure to also check out our yacht decks galleries .

Yacht Primary Bedrooms (Staterooms)

We kick off our yacht interiors gallery with the stateroom. When it comes to the primary bedroom on these boats, no expense is spared. They are large, comfortable and stunning in design. These bedrooms are bigger than our primary bedroom.

Yacht Guest Bedrooms (2 Beds)

Many guest bedrooms on a yacht have two beds so that it can accommodate more people. However, they are, as you’ll see below, still very, very luxurious. These are certainly cozy sleeping quarters.

Salon and Dinette Photos

My favorite room on the boat is the salon and/or dinette area. In many cases, the dinette doubles as the living room. Mega yachts have dedicated salons and dining areas. I love these superb lounge designs below in the cabin as well as the upper lounge areas.

Large yacht salon interior

I must admit that kitchens on these super yachts are fairly small. I guess the cooking is done by the staff and yacht owners prefer to have more space for bedrooms, deck space and lounge space. That makes sense given there really is limited space. Nevertheless, these kitchens are gorgeous and the yacht designers certainly didn’t skimp with respect to quality.

Most boats dedicate very little space to bathrooms. Not these. The primary bathrooms below are incredible. The smaller bathrooms are guest bathrooms. These luxury yachts are so large and spacious that even the bathrooms are both beautiful and comfortable to use.

Kitchens for yachts: where aesthetics meet functionality

luxury yacht kitchens

Designer kitchens feature in the most beautiful yachts and watercrafts

Kitchens on board yachts have changed . In order to meet the needs of the most demanding ship owners, today’s biggest shipyard architects and designers opt for designer kitchens . We are talking about kitchens that combine sophisticated lines with the highest performance.

When we speak of designer kitchens , we’re not just talking about kitchens which are beautiful to look at; we’re especially (and above all) referring to well-designed kitchens which are versatile, customisable and highly functional .

Kitchens designed for the shipbuilding sector and for luxury boats need to meet extremely high and rigorous quality, resistance and functionality requirements.

Yacht interiors that look like ones you would find in a house

Until recently, the nautical world was synonymous with a highly traditional style: glossy mahogany furniture, brass accessories, and white and blue striped fabrics. We’re talking about the so-called “ Old Navy ” style that we still see today on small-sized boats or older watercrafts.

luxury yacht kitchens

However, the trend today has radically changed on board yachts and sizeable pleasure crafts. The traditional nautical style has given way to a more minimal and contemporary style. The interior spaces of luxury boats reflect the style you would find in a house.

Evidence of this trend is the fact that the most important architectural studios specialised in the naval industry or great ‘archistars’ are often called upon to design the interior spaces of mega yachts. The goal is to personalise spaces to the max, making the interiors more welcoming and, of course, capable of impressing guests.

Kitchens on board yachts become the central living space

The kitchen space has a privileged place in this radical transformation process that the luxury naval industry is undergoing . Actually, we should speak in the plural and say kitchens. Because, more often than not, on bigger yachts or vessels, there’s more than one kitchen.

luxury yacht kitchens

Important kitchens always feature on board big yachts. These spaces used by the chef on board and by his staff are inspired by professional kitchens , that is to say kitchens with features which are of the highest standards in terms of ergonomics, performance and functionality .

We are talking about floating kitchens which can perform to high standards, are well-equipped and organised… kitchens which would not be out of place in a Michelin-star restaurant. It is right in these kitchens that chefs prepare their dishes every day for their shipowners and their guests. And it’s also where the most important dinners are prepared.

Kitchens on board yachts represent highly important strategic spaces. This is precisely why designers often consult the shipowner’s personal chef when planning them.

How kitchens on yachts are designed

It’s not easy to design kitchens for the shipbuilding industry , especially for luxury vessels and sizeable yachts. As previously mentioned, aesthetics aren’t enough. In these highly peculiar and complex spaces, kitchens need to comply with specific rules and meet extremely rigid standards.

But let’s see which features kitchens on board yachts and vessels need to have.

1. Personalisation

Kitchens on board leisure boats need to be customisable. They are always tailor made and are inserted in spaces where the walls are not regular. They require ample space to store food. This is why choosing a partner who can make and install tailor-made kitchens , designed to perfection down to the finest detail and adaptable to an infinite range of solutions, is essential.

luxury yacht kitchens

2. Functionality

Kitchens on board yachts need to guarantee the maximum practicality of space.

This is a fundamental aspect of any kitchen, but it is even truer for unique spaces (and sometimes tight spaces) such as kitchens on board boats. Perfect organisation and a rational use of space are guaranteed by the modular Gastronorm system , which features standard international measures for all kitchen containers and accessories (casserole dishes, containers, trays, etc.).

luxury yacht kitchens

3. Ergonomics

Kitchens on yachts need to be planned with the greatest attention to ergonomics . Just like in the kitchens of a restaurant, chefs spend hours on their feet, moving from one position to another on board luxury boats. And if we also factor in the fact that watercrafts are constantly “moving”, then performing daily operations becomes even harder than on terra firma. This is why it is important to optimise and simplify the chef’s work in the kitchen by designing ergonomic kitchens which take into account movement and usage. To this end, more often than not, architects and chefs work together to design a unique kitchen, tailored like a custom-made outfit.

4. Professional appliances

Electrical appliances play a very important role in the kitchens on board yachts and sizeable vessels. They must be functional, ensure high performance and be suited to such a peculiar environment. These kitchens need to be professional in order to allow chefs to prepare all kinds of dishes, even the more sophisticated ones, and organise cooking times in the best way possible. Fridges and freezers must also have lots of storage space in order to face even the longer journeys.

luxury yacht kitchens

5. Materials

While it is true that kitchens on board boats are becoming more similar to those you would find in homes, it is also true that they need to operate in more complicated environments. What’s more, kitchens on board vessels are often operational 24/7 and several people work in them, just like in a restaurant. This is why kitchens on yachts need to feature resistant materials of the highest quality . On luxury boats and sizeable ones, stainless steel kitchens are preferable. This material is fully waterproof, and it is scratch and impact resistant. Upon request, kitchens can also be made in special AISI 316 stainless steel; this material is particularly well-suited in environments with a high level of saltiness in the air.

6. Easy to clean

Kitchens designed for yachts need to guarantee the perfect conditions of hygiene and cleanliness . This is why it is advisable to opt for a fully stainless-steel kitchen. Stainless steel is a biologically neutral metal alloy. It is anti-bacterial and easy to clean. Kitchens designed for boats should also include joint-free worktops and feature interior compartments with rounded corners to prevent the gathering of dirt and bacteria. A clean and well-sanitised kitchen makes for serene sailing and peace of mind when it comes to the well-being of the vessel owner, guests and crew.

luxury yacht kitchens

Kitchens for ships and pleasure boats need to be designed while taking into account problems connected to a constantly-changing environment . In order to prevent containers from accidentally opening while sailing, it is important to ensure that these are fitted with the necessary safety block mechanisms . Kitchens on board boats should have no sharp edges – starting from the work surfaces – in order to make navigation safe and as comfortable as possible for the chef and his assistants.

In recent years, there have been many modern advancements in luxury yacht kitchen design. The Yacht Division of  Ernestomeda is known for creating glamorous, and highly functional modern kitchens for all types of yachts – particularly spacious superyachts, and exquisitely detailed luxury yachts. This particular company has been known to appeal to the Italian market, but now has achieved international interest.

They focus on the quality of the kitchen products that they create for the yachting industry, as well as ensuring that they provide competitive pricing. They work to ensure that their designs fulfill the specifications of the sophisticated and consistently changing consumer.

Ernestomeda provides a wide range of detail and material choices when it comes to designing the kitchens included on luxury yachts, mega yachts, and similar types of water vessels.

HP Laminate is a product that is considered to be both high in quality and practical. It is a material that has a high resistance when it comes to scratches, and various types of abrasions. Many yacht owners elect the plywood material due to the fact that it is naturally appealing to the eye and even rustic in a decorative sense.

Ernestomeda also designs kitchens using a multitude of sophisticated and colorful lacquers. One of the most popular choices in design includes the veneer identified as “American Walnut”. The following shades are available when it comes to kitchen yacht design: Oak, Tobacco Oak, Cherry, TK, Warm Oak, Dark Oak, Lacquered Ash (White in Color), Italian Walnut.

When your yacht kitchen is designed by Ernestomeda, you will be pleased to know that there are stainless steel variations. If you prefer the look and feel of aluminum, you may choose from this material if you want a very modern décor exhibited in your kitchen. The tops of counters and other localized kitchen accessories may be designed in beautifully natural granite, okite, stainless steel, and even marble. Many have even had their luxury yacht kitchen designed in astounding quartz.

If you are interested in a modern, customized kitchen for your luxury yacht, consider the work offered by Ernestomeda. You may choose which materials are most appealing for your yacht, details that you would like included in your kitchen, and even the amount of space that you want your yacht’s kitchen to have.

Ernestomeda makes it possible for you to enjoy the modern advancements in luxury yacht kitchen design personally.

Superyacht.com's Top Interiors of 2021

By Danny Wiser

As the old adage goes 'it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts. Whilst at Superyachts.com we of course value exterior design, 2021 has seen a series of new creations kiss the waters packed out with magnificent interiors. Here are some of our favourites...

Cloud 9 The Italian city of Milan has long been with synonymous with good taste. Host to labels such as Versace, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, the city is packed out with beautifully dressed individuals who spend their days roaming around the intricate architecture of the Piazza del Duomo and admiring the beauty of the displays in the high-end stores that make up the stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It therefore comes as no surprise that Milan was the birthplace and childhood inspiration of Francesco Paszkowski who designed the interiors for this 61.5m enchantress. Her matt grey colour scheme makes for a deeply relaxing and classy feel that is brought to life by the light of the outdoor living areas.

Moskito Dubbed the 'father of modern yacht design', Jon Bannenberg's involvement on any project is always likely to elicit excitement from yacht enthusiasts. Bannenberg & Rowell Design's involvement on this project of course did not fail to deliver as her contemporary interior creates a wonderful ambience. Her white Thassos marble flooring in the owner’s suite bathroom is a particular highlight, making the Dutch vessel a perfect getaway yacht for interior connoisseurs.

Triumph Just like Cloud 9, Triumph is another Italian creation, this time out of Benetti's shipyard who were also responsible for her magnificent interior. Owned by Sarah and Chris Dawson, executive chairman of the British retail chain The Range, Triumph includes not only includes a wild range of features for those who want to unwind and relax but so too a style that sets her apart from the rest thanks to some additional help from Green & Mingarelli Design. Plant life can be found across in most rooms bringing a sense of connection back to the land even when cruising across the high seas.

Victorious British based design studio, H2 Yacht Design designed the interior of Victorious who features accommodation for 24 guests in 12 cabins, including a private deck for the owner’s personal usage. Packed with amenities for family cruising, her interior is mindful of a child friendly design. This however, did not get in the way of luxury and risks were taking including the installation of glorious walnut flooring balancing together both functionality and aestethic. This delicate balance between style and function was perfected by the studio and after a 14 year long wait for her delivery, most would look at her and agree that the patience was worthwhile.

Yacht Galley Design: A Challenge of Form and Functionality

Much like the kitchen in a home, which so often operates as the central hub, facilitating entertainment, homework, life chats, baking and cooking, the design of the galley aboard a yacht demands similar consideration. How many appliances and what type, prep areas, service areas for the crew, considerations for guest interaction… In my large Italian family, we always joked that every kitchen and yacht galley needed to have plenty of seating so we could hang out and harass the chef en masse! As with every space aboard a yacht, technical considerations drive all design to ensure functionality is maximized.

WHAT TO CONSIDER FOR YOUR YACHT GALLEY DESIGN

The yacht galley is a technical space; its purpose being to facilitate one of the most important onboard activities: the enjoyment of good food and good company. There are, of course, specific design/layout needs dictated by the vessel’s type and size: motor versus sailing, under 100 feet versus over 100 feet, the time spent at sea and in what conditions, and, of course, the yacht’s intended market – be it American, European, Australian or elsewhere. We dive a little deeper into this subject in our blog post about designing for the spec market . The main distinction that separates the boys from the men when it comes to galley design, however, lies between charter yachts and private yachts.

96' Nordhavn Yacht VivieRae II

PRIVATE YACHT GALLEY DESIGN

Private yachts can get away with standard galleys designed to service small groups and families. Much like a home kitchen, the workspace and equipment – and even materials used – are adequate if they serve this purpose. High-end consumer appliances will suit, and good looking stone surfaces and backsplashes can provide lovely accents, even allowing the private yacht galley to become a focal point of the main living areas, with islands and settees providing a gathering spot for family and guests.

125' Westport Yacht Eccentric Galley

Exceptions to this rule are common, as we experienced with the design of the 120’ Nordhavn flagship, Aurora, aboard which the galley design served to influence much of the entire project . While the yacht was intended for private use, the owners were enthusiastic about entertaining and specified a functional galley fitted with the latest high-end appliances. The must-have appliance list was extensive: a full-height refrigerator and full-height refrigerator/freezer, two refrigerator drawers, two dishwashers, two ovens, a microwave oven, a steam oven, two sinks, a Salamander broker, an electric cooktop with four burners, a trash compactor, a BBQ grill, a teppanyaki grill and a wok burner, as well as plenty of storage and counterspace with a stool.

120' Nordhavn Yacht Aurora Galley

While there were some compromises to be made to accommodate all of this equipment while still allowing for enough countertop and cabinetry space, we executed a layout and combination of appliance/cabinetry design that suited their needs – and resulted in a truly exceptional, efficient galley space that would please any discerning chef!

We created a “second galley” in the enclosed flybridge space with a full bar with under-counter refrigerator/freezer drawers, a dishwasher, wine cooler, trash compactor and electric BBQ. In the end, this space became a coveted area in which the owners could cook and entertain while enjoying the water views.

luxury yacht kitchens

LIke Aurora, the owners of the 100’ Nordhavn, Serenity also love to cook and entertain and desired a Galley with all of the latest high end appliances along with enough space for his large family to congregate there. When designing the layout of Serenity , we extended it aft into the dining space, while still maintaining enough space in the adjoining Dining Salon to incorporate a large, 12-person dining table.

100' Nordhavn Yacht Serenity Floor Plan

DESIGNING A CHARTER YACHT GALLEY

When your boat is intended for charter, the design needs are kicked up a notch…or more. Any owner who has experienced crew turnover will acknowledge that yacht galley layout plays a role in a chef’s job satisfaction. Dissatisfied chefs will blame designers who prioritized guest spaces over galley functionality. After all, food is the most important element of a successful charter. A charter necessitates not only three daily meals for up to 12 guests, but crew meals and snacks — not to mention separate dishes catering to dietary restrictions — cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, midnight snacks, crudités and more snacks, including a cookie or two.

Yacht Galley Design

KEEP YOUR YACHT GALLEY FAMILY-FRIENDLY!

Currently we are working on the refit of a 112’ Westport, Hannah, * which is planned for charter. The refit includes opening up the galley space to make it a more “family-friendly” gathering space. Because the yacht will be used for both charter and personal family use, it is important to execute a balance between the family’s appreciation for contemporary styling and high-end finishes and appliances and the durability and functionality required of a charter environment.

So, when considering your next design project, you may want to start with the galley. Do you have ravenous teenagers who must snack every half hour? Will you be joined by your large Italian family, each of whom must gather around the chef to critique the Sunday gravy? Do you have champagne tastes with a beer budget?

In the end, the balance of form and functionality are essential to a successful galley design. Designing your galley with the chef in mind — or better yet in consultation — will ensure not only a successful charter yacht with the right crew, but will also yield returns in resale.

Step aboard and immerse yourself in the opulent world of luxury yacht interiors! From sleek modern designs to timeless elegance, the art of interior design in yachts is a captivating blend of style, functionality, and creativity. Join us on a journey as we explore the top trends, layout tips, material choices, furnishing styles, and clever storage solutions that make these floating palaces truly spectacular. Get ready to be inspired by the beauty and innovation behind crafting the perfect yacht interior!

Top trends in luxury yacht interior design

Luxury yacht interior design is constantly evolving, embracing new trends to create stunning and functional spaces that cater to the desires of discerning clients. One notable trend in yacht interiors is the use of sustainable materials, reflecting a growing awareness of environmental responsibility within the industry. Another popular trend is the incorporation of smart technology, seamlessly integrating features like automated lighting and climate control for enhanced comfort and convenience.

In terms of aesthetics, contemporary minimalism continues to be a favored style among yacht owners, with clean lines and neutral color palettes creating a sense of calm sophistication. On the other end of the spectrum, there’s also a resurgence of classic glamour in yacht design, with luxurious fabrics, ornate details, and rich textures evoking a sense of timeless elegance on board.

From innovative layouts to cutting-edge decor elements, staying ahead of these top trends ensures that luxury yacht interiors remain at the pinnacle of sophistication and style.

Material and design choices for yacht interiors

Choosing the right materials and designs for yacht interiors is crucial in creating a luxurious and stylish space that reflects your personal taste and lifestyle. From opulent marble countertops to sleek stainless steel fixtures, every detail contributes to the overall aesthetic of your yacht’s interior.

When it comes to materials, consider durable yet elegant options like teak wood flooring or leather upholstery for a timeless look. Incorporating high-quality fabrics and finishes will not only enhance the visual appeal but also ensure longevity in a marine environment.

In terms of design choices, think about maximizing natural light with large windows or incorporating innovative lighting solutions for ambiance. Selecting a color palette that complements the ocean views can create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Whether you prefer modern minimalism or classic elegance, the key is to balance functionality with aesthetics to achieve an inviting and sophisticated yacht interior that suits your unique style preferences.

Popular interior styles for yacht furnishing

When it comes to interior styles for yacht furnishing, there are a few popular options that exude luxury and sophistication. One classic style is the nautical theme, featuring navy blues, whites, and touches of gold or brass accents to create a timeless maritime ambiance.

For those seeking a more modern look, contemporary design with clean lines and neutral colors like grey or beige can provide a sleek and elegant aesthetic onboard. Incorporating state-of-the-art technology seamlessly into the design can elevate the overall experience.

Alternatively, an eclectic style mixing different textures, patterns, and colors can add personality and vibrancy to the space. Think bold artwork pieces paired with plush velvet furnishings for a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that feels like home away from home on the open seas.

No matter which style you choose for your yacht furnishing, creating a harmonious blend of comfort, functionality, and aesthetics is key to achieving a truly luxurious onboard experience.

How to design the perfect layout for your yacht

Designing the perfect layout for your luxury yacht is a crucial step in creating a comfortable and functional space that reflects your personal style. Start by considering the flow of the space – ensure there is enough room to move around freely without feeling cramped.

Think about the purpose of each area on the yacht – from dining and lounging to sleeping quarters and entertainment spaces. Each area should serve its own unique function while seamlessly connecting with the rest of the layout.

Utilize natural light to create an open and airy feel onboard. Large windows, skylights, or even glass floors can bring in plenty of sunlight and offer stunning views of the surrounding waters.

Consider incorporating versatile furniture pieces that can easily transform to suit different needs throughout the day. Opt for sleek designs that maximize space without compromising on style.

Lastly, don’t forget about outdoor areas! Designing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces will enhance your overall yachting experience as you enjoy breathtaking sunsets or dine al fresco under the stars.

Clever storage solutions for yachts

When it comes to designing the interior of a luxury yacht, clever storage solutions are key. With limited space on board, maximizing every inch is essential for both functionality and aesthetics.

One smart storage solution often seen in yachts is utilizing hidden compartments beneath seating areas or within walls. This not only saves space but also maintains a clean and uncluttered look throughout the yacht.

Another popular option is incorporating multi-functional furniture pieces that serve dual purposes, such as a coffee table with built-in storage or a bed frame with drawers underneath. These innovative designs help minimize clutter while adding practicality to the living spaces.

Vertical storage solutions like tall cabinets or shelving units can also make use of otherwise wasted space, providing ample room for storing belongings without sacrificing floor space.

Overall, integrating these clever storage solutions into the design of a yacht ensures that everything has its place, creating a harmonious and organized environment for passengers to enjoy their time at sea.

Luxury yacht interior design is truly an art form that combines creativity, functionality, and elegance. From incorporating the latest trends to selecting the perfect materials and styles, designing the interior of a yacht requires careful planning and attention to detail.

By following top trends in luxury yacht interior design, creating a layout that maximizes space, choosing high-quality materials and stylish designs, as well as implementing clever storage solutions, you can transform your yacht into a luxurious floating oasis.

Whether you prefer a modern minimalist look or a classic nautical style, there are endless possibilities when it comes to designing your yacht’s interior. So let your imagination run wild and create a space that reflects your personal taste and lifestyle while enjoying the ultimate luxury on the open seas.

Superyacht Galley Equipment Every Yacht Chef Needs

luxury yacht kitchens

With gadgets and equipment developing every year, we’ve taken the time to update you on the latest Superyacht galley equipment. Professional chefs don’t bat an eye when you ask them which tools and equipment they’d choose – they know exactly what is an absolute must, and what is a definite no-go.

The following are some of the top galley equipment choices and recommendations from Superyacht chefs:

1. Thermomix

Superyacht Galley Equipment - Thermomix

The Thermomix is every chef’s dream piece of equipment! Combining the functions of more than twelve food appliances in one device, it has the ability to weigh, mix, chop, mill, knead, blend, steam, cook, beat, precisely heat, stir and emulsify. Whether you’re cooking for charter guests or spoiling the crew, this machine is the one for you. The spectrum ranges from simply boiling eggs and making the dreamiest salad dressings and dips to pesto, steamed fish, risotto, liqueur, or even ice cream.

The Pacojet is a must-have piece of modern equipment for cooking on board. The appliance uses micro-pureeing of fresh, deep-frozen ingredients under overpressure to produce velvety-smooth mousses, soups, farces, sauces, and ice creams. In addition, with options to chop, cut, or mix fresh, non-frozen foods without heat transfer, this is a vital tool to save you valuable time.

3. Joule Sous Vide

Looking for a smaller, more compact appliance that you can take onto any boat? This small device heats water to precise temperatures to cook meat and other food evenly for the exact timing you require. It does this by using the increasingly popular cooking technique known as sous vide. The sous vide is controlled by a companion smartphone recipe app for iPhone and Android. Talk about luxury kitchen equipment…

4. Braun – Multiquick 5 Vario 21-Speed Hand Blender – Black

Superyacht galley equipment -Braun - Multiquick 5 Vario 21-Speed Hand Blender

Reaches deep into pots, pitchers, and bowls to quickly purée or blend ingredients. Offering customisable functionality and 21 speeds for versatile use, this state-of-the-art hand blender allows you to change your mixture’s consistency by controlling the blade speeds.

5. Breville – The custom loaf

Beville Custom loaf - Superyacht Galley Equipment

Are you looking for a bread maker that can store your recipes? Look no further. The custom loaf automatic programs include; gluten-free, yeast-free, crusty loaf, dough/pasta & jam. With an automatic fruit and nut dispenser, as well as a collapsable kneading blade, your guests won’t be able to get enough of your bread! Why not use Brevilles AR technology to realistically envision your Breville machine on the galley counter.

6. The Smoking Gun & Cloche by Sage

Create classic flavours with wood chips, or expand your culinary creativity by smoking with teas, spices, and dried flowers. Also, it’s ideal for cocktails and other drinks too! How about a Manhattan cocktail infused with cigar smoke? The Sage smoking gun is an example of luxury equipment at its finest. Your creativity is limitless with the Sage smoking gun.

So, now you’ve got all the essential Superyacht galley equipment, how about discovering how to get the most out of edible flowers in your galley?

Get the Look: How to Design a Modern Nautical Style Kitchen & Bath Design

Subscribe to our blog.

Nautical style is all about keeping the ocean close to your heart by embracing the maritime lifestyle in your home. Today we’ll explore how to merge the modern-day nautical lifestyle with your interior design by understanding the key design elements that bring Modern Nautical style to life.

Get the Look of Modern Nautical Style for a Kitchen, Bathroom, or Interior Design.

First Off – Nautical is Not the Same as Coastal Style

Coastal style is inspired by sandy beaches and destination trips to a cozy beach cottage with breeze fabrics and a mix of cottage style details. The color palette is soft, breezy, and natural. Where Nautical style is inspired by luxury ocean voyages taking on traits from the architecture of traditional ships and colors of sky and ocean waters. The color palette has stronger contrasts of whites against dark navy blues, or warm brassy metals against cool-toned white, gray, and blue finishes.

The History of Nautical Style

Let’s take a step back and discover the years of history that made the Nautical style what it is today. The technical term ‘Nautical’ by definition means in relation to maritime, ships, sailors, or sea navigation.

Nautical style first became an iconic style during the era of Queen Victoria . In 1846, she commissioned for her son, Albert Edward the Prince of Wales to have a child-sized naval uniform, which he wore aboard the Royal Yacht . She wrote, “When he appeared, the officers and sailors, who were all assembled on deck to see him, cheered, and seemed delighted.” The story of the adorable outfit worn on such a luxury ship soon spread quickly.

Soon after, the uniform was immortalized in a portrait by painter Franz Winterhalter. The story of the young prince and the famous painting quickly sparked a craze for Nautical styled fashion for people of all ages as well as influenced home interior designs with luxurious ship-like looks

Additional influences from maritime life continued to inspire and morph this design style as the years went on. In the 1930s Hollywood took the reigns as stars Ginger Rogers and Betty Grable acted as women sailors in famous films like  Give me a Sailor  and  Follow the Fleet  inspiring a whole new generation to adore not only Nautical fashion but also luxury Nautical inspired home interiors.

In 1958, the French navy introduced the Breton shirt as a naval uniform which soon influenced bold stripes to appear on interior décor and furniture upholsteries.

Today, Nautical style is being reborn once again with a modern twist. Modern-day nautical designs feature clean lines and less intricate details yet still maintain a similar color palette and design features that call to the sea.

The Modern Nautical Style Color Palette

Like any interior design style, Modern Nautical Design has a distinctive color palette that helps create the signature look. The color palette of a Modern Nautical interior design is centered around the ocean. Think about sky blues, bright whites clouds, and deep blue ocean waters, as well as wood textures that remind us all of driftwood or an aged wood of a luxury ship. Within this color palette, you’ll discover LOTS of hues of blue from dusty light blues to distinguished navy blues, an abundance of white finishes, antique brassy fixtures, and weathered/driftwood-like wood textures .

Take an even more modern approach to Modern Nautical style with Dura Supreme Cabinetry’s Allura door style in the Ultra Matte acrylic in “Navy” blue and the Dash door style in the “Carrara White” Textured TFL .

Painted cabinetry is commonly used in Nautical kitchen designs and bathroom designs. Create a clean smooth look with standard painted finishes or add some texture and character with painted oak cabinets .

True brown and washboard stained cabinets are a great choice for a Nautical kitchen design as they go beautifully with the strong cool hues of navy blue. Weathered woods that resemble wood on a ship that has been exposed to the elements of the sea are a popular choice for accents like a kitchen island, wood hood, or hutch area.

Selecting Nautical Style Cabinetry for a Kitchen or Bathroom Design

Nautical style branches out and uses a wide variety of cabinet door styles to create the look. You may see some Nautical kitchen designs with simple modern shaker or slab cabinet door styles all the way to intricate raised panel door styles with tons of decorative detail. You can use inset cabinetry construction for an old-style furniture look, go more modern with full overlay construction, or get back to the Nautical style’s traditional roots with standard overlay construction . There is no wrong choice.

You’ll find cottage beaded cabinet doors (like our Craftsman Beaded Panel door ) and Shiplap-inspired cabinet doors (like our Carson V-Groove door ) that add a little extra emphasis on nautical style. You can do an entire kitchen with a shiplap or beaded door or just use it as an accent.

Here is a small sampling of door styles that work fabulously in a Nautical style kitchen design.

Examples of Nautical style cabinet door styles for kitchen and bath designs.

If you’re looking for more accent cabinet ideas, a simple X mullion or a simple glass cabinet door are popular choices. If you’re looking to tie in some more traditional accents, an intricate leaded glass door could be just the right fit. Being Nautical style is known for watery environments, the Louvered Door is another popular option.

Design Elements of Modern Nautical Style

Nautical style kitchen & bath designs bring the ambiance of maritime life into the home. Common design features include grand ship-inspired ceiling beams, X motifs (I.E. an “X” kitchen island and cap or an “X” patterned mullion cabinet door ), circle décor & mirrors that resemble porthole windows, and of course, SHIPLAP !

For soft goods, a variety of patterns are frequently used, especially blue and white striped patterns. You’ll find these patterns often used in furniture upholstery, wallpaper, rugs, throw pillows, blankets, wall art, and more.

In this kitchen & living room space, notice the dark Navy Blue and white striped patterns used throughout the design, the intricate mullion cabinet doors, and the rope-inspired decor and light fixtures. A driftwood-like texture is incorporated into the furniture pieces as well as an accent on the shiplap wood hood.

Maritime and ocean themed décor is prevalent throughout all nautical style home interiors. Nautical style home décor will typically incorporate ocean-inspired elements like seashells, coral, wide ropes, driftwood, anchors, model ships, and old-world navigational tools (I.E. globes, maps, compass, etc.).

In many Nautical style kitchens and baths, you will find brassy details used for light fixtures, cabinet hardware, plumbing fixtures, furniture pieces, decor, and more. Brass, copper, gold, especially antique brass finishes are popular choices for a Nautical design.

Living Vehicle GT39 rival’s interiors of luxury yachts, offers freedom of off-grid living on the road

luxury yacht kitchens

Before the pandemic, we lived in a generously simple world with mobile homes catering to the bare minimum needs on the road. A bedroom, convertible living room, kitchenette, dry bathroom, and that was almost it. Most of the interior was paneled with wood and the exterior was done in aluminum for durability. Now, with the likes of Living Vehicle, a Santa Barbara, CA-based boutique travel trailer builder – that has been marrying luxury and sustainability over the years – is redefining the word: luxury mobile living with the new GT series.

Electric trailers by Living Vehicle have been close competitors to the Airstreams. These models are designed to sell a way of life that in Living Vehicle’s ideology is “sustainable, off-grid, and luxurious.” The company has ventured into a new category with the GT series fifth wheelers. These models: the flagship GT39 and the smaller-sized GT32, combine off-grid fierceness with luxury that matches the feel of a yacht on land.

Designer: Living Vehicle

luxury yacht kitchens

Living Vehicle has always focused on developing off-grid mobile trailers that can be used for full-time living, the Cyber Trailer for instance. The GT39 may be a different unit in approach, but its fundamentals are aligned with the company’s signature style. The fifth wheeler measures 39-foot long and features an architecturally designed interior. It fits the master bedroom – with a king-size bed and panoramic windows – in the gooseneck and is apt for sleeping four to six people with a living room that transforms into a guest sleeper.

The Living Vehicle GT39 model tips the scale at 16000 lbs but has, and we cannot iterate enough, a motor yacht-style luxurious interior comprising 8-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring, powder-coated aluminum cabinets, and top-of-the-line appliances. The living room with reclining seats has a 70-inch home theater system and fireplace, just adjacent is a chef’s kitchen attached to a bar that doubles as a workspace. Next up with the bathroom with a composting toilet and a teak-paneled shower.

Stretching the interior luxury into the exterior landscapes is the fold-down deck of the GT39, which is spacious enough to be used as an outdoor dining space or an outdoor kitchen at the campsite. The fold-down deck is covered with a folding awning. The interesting element of this yacht for the road is the option of installing anywhere between 2.2 and 5 kilowatts of solar panels on the roof. Stretching the entire length and breadth of the LV model, the solar cells can extend onto the awnings for additional coverage. To enhance the self-sustaining capability, this fifth-wheeler’s solar system is supported by a hybrid backup power generator and complemented by a battery pack of 72kWh.

luxury yacht kitchens

Since the GT39 is meant for permanent, long-term living on the road, it comes with four-season climate control, along with smart home technology, and Starlink connectivity. Living Vehicle is now taking orders for the new GT39, but the pricing for the model is undisclosed. If interested, you would have to get in touch with the company for a quote.

Survivor of Yacht That Sank Off Sicily's Coast Recalls How She Used 'All My Strength' to Save Her 1-Year-Old

"I held her afloat ... my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning,” Charlotte Golunski said

A mom aboard the luxury superyacht that sank after what officials called a "violent storm" off the coast of Sicily this week is speaking out about how she was able to save her young daughter from being swept away by the water.

The mother was identified to PEOPLE by local authorities as Charlotte Golunski — who, along with her partner, was so shocked about how bad the weather had gotten that they went above board just before disaster struck the Bayesian early on Monday, Aug. 19, the sources say.

After going into the water, Golunski lost her grip on her 1-year-old daughter, Sophie, when a wave smashed against them, taking the child out to sea, according to the local sources.

The same wave returned the girl a short time later in what was described as something of a miracle.

In an interview with Italian newspaper la Repubblica , Golunski said that she briefly lost her daughter for about two seconds due to the intensity of the sea but was then was able to retrieve the child.

"I held her afloat with all my strength, my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning,” Golunski told the newspaper, according to a translation.

She added: "It was all dark. In the water I couldn't keep my eyes open. I screamed for help but all I could hear around me was the screams of others."

The Italian coast guard said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE that the Bayesian , a 56-meter yacht flying the U.K. flag, sank near Poritcello around 5 a.m., local time on Monday after the storm.

According to Italian news service ANSA, Golunski and her child were safely rescued via a lifeboat, per the Associated Press .

Salvo Cocina, an official with Sicily's civil protection agency, said that the baby’s father, James Emsley, survived the incident, according to Sky News.

The Guardian reported that a doctor with the hospital in Palermo where Sophie and her mother were taken in, Domenico Cipolla, said, “The baby is doing well. The mother is also in good condition, albeit with some minor abrasions. The father will also be discharged from the hospital soon.”

BBC News reported that Golunski is a colleague of Mike Lynch, the British tech entrepreneur who is one of the people — including his 18-year-old daughter Hannah — who is still missing following the sinking of the 184-foot yacht.

Also among the disappeared are two Americans.

Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, was one of 15 people saved out of a total of 22 who were originally aboard the Bayesian , the Italian coast guard and local sources said. Eight of the rescued were taken to local hospitals

According to Italian media outlets, a man's body was found after the sinking and later identified as the yacht’s chef, per Reuters .

Witnesses said the yacht was moored in front of a port in Porticello when the storm hit, the local newspaper Giornale di Sicilia reported.

"That boat was all lit up," a man in Porticello told the outlet. "At about 4:30 in the morning it was gone. A beautiful boat where there had been a party. A normal day of vacation spent happily at sea turned into a tragedy.”

Search and rescue efforts continue, the coast guard said, as does an investigation into the incident.

Inside the $40 million Bayesian yacht that capsized leaving 6 dead and 1 still missing

T he massive superyacht Bayesian that sank off the coast of Italy on Monday won numerous awards for its sleek interior design — and was sold to its original owner for nearly $40 million.

The luxury sailing ship was carrying 22 people when it capsized and sank during a fierce storm early Monday morning.

The bodies of five of six missing passengers, including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch, 69, his daughter, Hannah, 18, have been recovered.

The ship’s chef, Recaldo Thomas, has also been confirmed dead.

Divers continued searching the wreckage of the 184-ft British-flagged vessel, previously called Salute, on Wednesday after discovering four of the bodies.

When it was built in 2008, the Bayesian had the tallest aluminum mast in the world, standing at 237 ft, earning it the award of best exterior styling at the World Superyacht Awards in 2009, The Telegraph reported.

The sprawling superyacht’s interior, decorated with sleek, minimalist furnishings created by Remi Tessier, has also won numerous awards.

The ship, which accommodated 12 guests, had a master bedroom and three double and two twin bedrooms.

It also featured beige sofas, dark wood furnishings, and a teak deck equipped with a large canvas awning to keep guests cool, according to the outlet.

Some of the ship’s styling, including thin brown pillars and miniature terracotta sculptures, was inspired by Japanese culture.

The extravagant ship won best interior at the International Superyacht Society Awards in 2008 and was also voted one of the best large sailing yachts at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards, according to the outlet.

The yacht’s original owner, John Groenewoud, a Dutch real estate developer, reportedly bought the ship for £30 million ($39 million) when it was built. In 2014 he sold the ship with an asking price of £27 million or ($35 million).

The Bayesian is currently owned by Revtom, a company that listed Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, as its legal owner.

It was named after the Bayesian statistical model that helps financial investors calculate risk — the subject of Lynch’s Ph.D. that later helped him build his empire.

The vessel, operated by yachting company Camper & Nicholsons, had twin 965hp MTU engines, which gave it a range of 3,600 nautical miles at 13-15 knots (14-17 mph).

RSB Rigging carried out rig service works on the ship with Astilleros de Mallorca, a shipyard facility in Palma, in November 2016.

The Bayesian returned in September 2020 for scheduled service works, including having its mast removed and reinstalled.

Steve Branagh, the managing director of RSB Rigging, told The Telegraph: “At this time, our deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of all those affected by this dreadful tragedy.”

New York lawyer, wife among those missing after sinking of luxury yacht

Darla Miles Image

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A New Yorker and his wife are among the missing after a luxury superyacht sank Monday off the coast of Sicily.

Officials say Christopher and Neda Morvillo are still missing on Tuesday.

Italian officials say it happened just before dawn when a possible waterspout hit the area.

Twenty-two people were onboard at the time. Fifteen made it into a life raft - including a mother and her 1-year-old baby.

Morvillo is a former U.S. attorney who worked on the 9/11 criminal investigation and now works in private practice for the global law firm Clifford Chance.

"We are in shock and deeply saddened by this tragic incident. Our thoughts are with our Partner, Christopher Morvillo, and his wife Neda who are among the missing. Our utmost priority is providing support to the family," the firm said in a statement.

Morvillo was aboard the yacht owned by British tech CEO Mike Lynch as they celebrated a victory in a 10-year-long multi-billion dollar-fraud trial.

Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah are also missing, along with Morvillo and his wife.

The bodies of the missing victims may be trapped inside the vessel which has been difficult to reach by rescuers.

Some of the 15 people who were rescued are either still recovering or have now left hospital.

Galley Upgrades: Modern Systems for Efficient Yacht Kitchens

luxury yacht kitchens

Enhancing Your Yacht Kitchen Experience

Transforming your yacht’s kitchen into a modern culinary masterpiece is not just about aesthetics; it’s about functionality and efficiency. A well-equipped yacht galley can significantly improve the quality of life on board, making meal preparation a pleasure rather than a chore. Upgrading to energy-efficient appliances, smart storage solutions, and integrating innovative technologies can change the entire dynamic of your kitchen space, making it easier to maintain and more enjoyable to use.

Key Appliance Upgrades for Optimal Functionality

Modernizing your yacht kitchen starts with upgrading the appliances. Consider swapping out older models for newer, energy-efficient versions that save power and perform better. Induction cooktops, for instance, are ideal for the confined spaces of a yacht as they cook food quickly and are safer than traditional gas burners since they don’t use open flames. Compact dishwashers are space-saving and use less water than washing dishes by hand, which is incredibly beneficial during long journeys. Upgrading your refrigeration systems to more efficient models with specific marine features will also enhance food preservation and minimize energy use.

Smart Storage Solutions for Space Optimization

In yacht galleys, every square inch matters. Efficient storage solutions can help maximize the limited space and keep your kitchen organized. Installing custom cabinetry that fits the unique dimensions of your yacht allows you to make use of every available corner. Features like under-cabinet pull-out drawers and cleverly designed compartments can help store everything from spices to pots and pans in a way that is easily accessible and secure, even in rough waters. High-end inserts and organizers make it possible to neatly tuck away appliances and utensils, freeing up counter space for meal preparation.

Incorporating Cutting-Edge Kitchen Technologies

Technology has dramatically transformed yacht kitchens, introducing greater functionality and convenience. Modern galleys can be equipped with smart ovens and stoves that you can control via smartphone, allowing you to start dinner while still enjoying the deck. There are also refrigerators that notify you when grocery supplies are running low and coffee makers that can have a fresh pot ready when you wake up. These smart appliances not only streamline cooking tasks but also ensure safety and efficiency onboard.

Conclusion: The Role of Yacht Brokerage in Your Galley Upgrade

As a leading yacht brokerage, Fly Yachts understands the significant impact that a modern, efficient galley can have on your overall yacht experience. We provide expert advice tailored to your specific needs, helping you choose the right appliances and features to transform your yacht kitchen into a functional, state-of-the-art space.
