Looks can be deceptive. While this glass-rich 125-footer has all the breezy openness of a sun-seeking superyacht, she has the rugged construction, endless 5,000-mile range and stay-off-the-grid functionality of a globe-girding explorer .
This is Emocean , the first luxury offering from Italian work-boat builder Rosetti Marino Group and its new superyacht division Rosetti Superyachts. Launched just last year for a seasoned European boating couple, she was designed to go far and wide, in the utmost comfort, capability and safety.

“ Emocean has the looks of a stylish superyacht, but the strong bones and true capability of an explorer,” Andrea Giora, Rosetti Superyachts commercial director tells Robb Report during a tour of the yacht at this week’s Palm Beach International Boat Show.

Much of Emocean’ s capability is down to the pedigree of the Ravenna-based shipyard. For almost a century, Rosetti Marino has been turning out gritty, no-nonsense, oceangoing, commercial vessels for the oil and gas exploration market.
You can see the yacht’s commercial-grade pedigree in its heavy-duty steel construction, its efficiency-improving bulbous bow and round bilge design.
The hull and exterior design were the work of Italian naval architects Hydro Tec. The firm balanced the strength of the steel hull with aluminum for the yacht’s superstructure to reduce weight and lower its center of gravity.

The twin, smaller-than-usual 800-horsepower MAN diesels, sip just 16 gallons an hour at the yacht’s 12-mph cruising speed. Her max is 15mph. They can take the yacht over 5,000 miles on a tank.
But what goes against Emocean’s explorer yacht persona is all that glass in the hull sides. “One of the owners’ key requirements was that the yacht should be filled with light,” says Giora. “Everywhere they walk in the yacht, they want to feel connected with the water through windows.” One positively breathtaking— literally —use of glass is in the yacht’s upper-deck interior. In a walkway into a salon area, a seven-by-five-foot section of flooring has been replaced with clear glass. Walking across it for the first time, and peering down into a lower deck ten feet below, is guaranteed to make you gasp.
Glass also fronts the centerpiece of the main deck’s standout feature, the 150-bottle wine cellar. Installing mirrors on the ceiling visually doubles the height.

From the stern, you pass the beach club with its comfy sofas, and take the grand steps up on to the main level deck. One level above—reached by a dramatic floating staircase—and you’re into the main entertaining area.
A word about the furnishings. The owners are dedicated vegans who demanded no leathers and furs and no plastic whatsoever in the interior. “When the owners cruised Emocean to the Caribbean recently, they took their family and friends to different beaches to collect and dispose of any plastic trash they found,” says Giora.
What about all those teak decks on the boat? According to Giora, the owners visited the METS marine equipment show in Amsterdam to meet the synthetic teak-decking manufacturers.

“They really tried not to use teak, but in the end just didn’t find an alternative that provided the grip, the feel underfoot, and heat resistance,” says Giora. “Maybe next time.”
Inside, Emocean has accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins comprised of a main-deck master suite and four lower-deck guest cabins. That master is a standout with its full-beam space, expansive his-and-hers bathrooms, walk-in closet, private waterfront balcony, and separate office.

“The owners hate being in port or marinas, so the focus is on self-sufficiency at anchor,” says Giora. “She has zero-speed stabilizers to reduce any roll, and no fewer than five fridge-freezers, two washing machines, and two dryers.”
After her Palm Beach showing, Emocean will head back to the Mediterranean for the summer season. For the few times the owners are not aboard, the yacht will be available for charter through Camper & Nicholsons at $160,000 a week.

EMOCEAN offers spacious accommodation for twelve comprising a full beam master suite located forward on the main deck and complete with an owner’s office, a private fixed balcony and his and hers en-suite bathroom. Two double cabins and two twin cabins with pullman, are located on the lower deck and all have en-suite bathrooms. The two twin cabins can be easily converted into double cabins for added versatility.

Inside first Rosetti’s 38m explorer Emocean
Rosetti Superyachts reveals the interiors of the first superyacht project to hit the water. Following her successful debut at the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival, RSY 38m EXP M/Y Emocean is described as a “non-typical explorer yacht”. Rosetti Superyachts is a relatively young enterprise, founded at the end of 2017 by the Rosetti Marino Group, an Italian entity which is proudly approaching the 100 year mark and listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
“We were able to rise to this considerable challenge of establishing ourselves as a new player in the yachting world thanks to the financial solidity of the Group and the technical and engineering expertise that we can rely on within our sister companies,” says Ermanno Bellettini , CEO of RSY.
Built for an experienced couple who were closely involved in all aspects of the design and construction of the yacht, the RSY 38m EXP M/Y Emocean is designed to spend long periods on board in complete comfort and safety in all sea conditions.
“The owners of M/Y Emocean came to us because of our background in building thoroughly reliable commercial vessels – this was the first thing that they put on their brief,” says Andrea Giora , RSY Sales & Marketing Director. “On the other hand, they wanted to be able to interact with the builder, to know the suppliers, to speak with them and select the best contractor for each element that was to be installed on board.”
With a beam of 8.85 metres and a gross tonnage of 432 GT, the RSY 38m EXP has volumes that are typical of larger yachts and her 700 square metres of space are divided almost equally between the interior and exterior. The exterior profile is classic in proportion but contemporary in style with tense, angular lines. At the request of owners, the windows and openings are as large as possible.
“The exterior design is a reflection of the yacht’s functionality and reliability, which were the key priorities for the owners,” says Sergio Cutolo , founder of Hydro Tec who conceived the exterior design and naval architecture. “Special attention has also been dedicated to the crew areas and to the hold volumes, both essential requirements for long voyages far from ports or marinas.”
The main salon has large windows and sliding doors that offer wide sea views, thanks also to the fact that the engine room ventilation shafts have been moved further forward.
In addition, two large side sliding doors provide access to the cutaway bulwarks and the side decks. The space is divided into two main areas: a veranda-style seating area towards the stern and the dining area.
On the starboard side, a custom-designed wine cellar with a 150 bottle capacity acts as a divider between the guest areas and the master stateroom, which is spacious and well distributed with a fixed side balcony, always on the starboard side, accessible through a sliding glass door. The owners chose this solution because it can be used without requiring help from the crew, thus ensuring greater privacy.
The master stateroom itself comprises a private office, large His & Hers bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe.
On the lower deck is a beach club and four comfortable guest cabins (two twins and two doubles), as well as the crew accommodation (three cabins), a crew mess, pantry and pro-spec galley. Between the upper and main deck there is also a dedicated laundry and storage room. For complete independence at sea, the yacht has almost 3,000 litres of fridge-freezer space in the galley and the crew pantry and a technical room on the lower deck which hosts fuel and water tanks sufficient to guarantee long cruises.
Unusually, the main lounge is located on the upper deck. The tender is stowed on the open aft deck, while a spacious partially shaded is dedicated to an al fresco lounge. The captain’s cabin is located adjacent to the wheelhouse with integrated bridge overlooking a huge sundbedcon the open foredeck.
The 150-sqm sundeck features a jacuzzi pool with cascade, a large bar unit, dining facilities including a large table for 12 people with chairs and side seats and a gym area.
The fresh contemporary interior styling is by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design, a local design firm based in Ravenna, and is based on joinery of light Creta oak and dark smoked oak. A key feature is the main lobby where a bespoke sculpture by Giacinto Bosco occupies pride of place in the stairwell.
“The project was born from the close collaboration and synergy with the owners who expressed their tastes and desires, functional and layout needs,” says Francesca Burdisso. “Following various meetings it emerged clearly that the staircase would become the fulcrum of the project, reflecting character and style that runs throughout the yacht.”
Alternating glossy and opaque lacquers in light but warm tones are used for the furniture finishes. The owner’s bathroom features surfaces in Silk Georgette marble with both a raw and brushed finish, while the guest bathrooms are fitted with Silestone Coral Clay with a tactile suede finish.
“The owners wanted a choice of materials and natural tones that transmit a muted but fresh ambience with Mediterranean accents,” continues Burdisso. “The furniture forms are characterised by clean and essential lines and the open-plan layout is divided into a succession of spaces that are emotionally diversified.”
The RSY 38m EXP is powered by twin MAN D2868 LE 425 engines (588kW) with a round-bilge displacement hull, bulbous bulb, electric CMC stabilisers and extended skeg optimised for cruising at between 10 and 11 knots.
“Stylistically, this is not your typical explorer yacht,” says Giora. “But in other ways it complies with the explorer concept, including a huge range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, solid design and construction, and great storage volumes. So in terms of the main characteristics of what true explorers are all about, she is definitely an explorer yacht!”

The bridge deck's sky lounge is a perfect entertainment hub, featuring large windows, a bar, and a 75" screen with a home theatre setup for cinema nights or sports viewing.

Walk Through
The fresh contemporary interior styling of EMOCEAN is based on joinery of light Creta oak and dark smoked oak. A key feature is the main lobby where a bespoke sculpture occupies pride of place in the stairwell. Alternating glossy and opaque lacquers in light but warm tones are used for the furniture finishes. The yacht is flooded with natural light thanks to large windows and glass panels in decks of the sundeck and bridge deck forward.
The main salon has large windows and sliding doors that offer wide sea views, thanks also to the fact that the engine room ventilation shafts have been moved further forward. In addition, two large side sliding doors provide access to the cutaway bulwarks and the side decks. The space is divided into two main areas: a veranda-style seating area towards the stern and the dining area. On the starboard side, a custom-designed wine cellar with a 150 bottle capacity acts as a divider between the dining and seating area. The main vessel galley is located on the port main deck, with access directly to the interior dining space.
The main deck owners’ cabin is spacious and well distributed with a fixed side balcony on the starboard side, accessible through a sliding glass door. The master stateroom itself comprises a private office, large His & Hers bathrooms, and a walk-in wardrobe. The owner’s bathroom features surfaces in marble with both a raw and brushed finish.
On the lower deck is a beach club and four comfortable guest cabins (two twins and two doubles), the twin cabins can be converted into further doubles and feature pullman berths. The lower deck also houses the crew accommodation (three cabins), a crew mess, pantry, and galley. EMOCEAN was built with an engineering access tunnel which runs from the crew mess to the engine room allowing access to the bilges, tanks, and machinery without disturbing guest accommodations.
Between the upper and main deck there is also a dedicated laundry and storage room. The vessel has been built with 3 day heads for guest comfort, one each on the main deck, bridge deck and in the beach club.
On the upper bridge deck is the primary guest interior relaxation space, with a 75inch TV, large sofas, a cards table, and crew service bar. The captain's twin cabin is located adjacent to the wheelhouse with integrated bridge overlooking a huge sun bed at the open foredeck.
The tender and jet skis can be stowed on the bridge deck aft for long passages, while a spacious partially shaded is dedicated to an alfresco lounge. For shorter cruises, the main tender can either be stored on the swim platform or towed to open the bridge deck aft. Forward of the bridge is further sun pads and an intimate seating area with table for private dining.
The sundeck of EMOCEAN is undoubtedly the centrepiece for exterior guest entertainment. Aft can be found a large sunbathing area facing over the stern of the yacht, with a gym area to starboard. The primary exterior dining space can be found on the starboard midship of the sundeck, comfortably seating at least 12 guests under the large, fixed sunroof with heaters. To port is a crew service bar with 4 guest stools, with access to the dumb waiter. Forwards are large glass doors which are designed to shelter the sundeck from winds and cold weather, leading onto a large infinity pool (which has its own holding tank).
EMOCEAN has removable awnings for the sundeck pool & aft bathing areas and the bridge deck forward sunbathing area along with the bridge deck aft seating area. The main deck aft has vertical pull-down blinds if required for further shelter and privacy in port.

Airconditioning
AC system consists of a main & backup chiller and fan coils. To ensure that individual guest areas can be heated / cooled as required depending on individual requirements, each fan coil is fitted with a dedicated electric heater. During mid-season cruising, it allows the master cabin to be heated with the lower decks to be cooled if required.
The technical room, the bridge and navigation instruments also have a dedicated AC mini chiller. The yacht has a diesel heater fitted in the engine room to warm the vessel in extreme cold conditions.

The 125’ (38m) EMOCEAN is a remarkable custom-built explorer yacht crafted by Rosetti. EMOCEAN’s 8.85m beam, courtesy of her naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo, makes her interior feel like that of a much larger yacht. Her design is fresh and contemporary with light Creta oak and dark smoked oak joinery. A notable feature in the main lobby is the incredible sculpture that sits in the stairwell. There is a cohesive blend of glossy and opaque lacquers in light, warm tones. Among her notable interior spaces are her welcoming salon, sophisticated formal dining area and an exquisite crystal wine cellar housing up to 150 bottles. Her skylounge is a lovely place for guests to enjoy a movie in front of the 75-inch TV.
She can accommodate up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam main deck master suite complete with a private side balcony accessed through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and a private office. Guest accommodations on the lower deck comprise two guest doubles and two convertible cabins with twin or double configurations, each with an additional Pullman.
Outside, EMOCEAN’s modern exterior profile, designed by Hydro Tec, is accentuated by angular glass sections that intersect her sleek lines. The centerpiece is undoubtedly her sundeck, with an infinity pool, a well-stocked bar, plush sunpads and an alfresco dining area. This space can be enclosed with glass panels and cooled and heated to suit any climate. There are additional seating areas on both the main and bridge decks, as well as a crane and storage for her primary tender.
The yacht’s expansive beach club encapsulates a seamless connection with the sea, providing exceptional comfort and convenience and ample storage for water toys. There is a day head located in this space and easy access to the large swim platform.

Introduction.
EMOCEAN features a full displacement steel hull with bulbous bow and aluminium superstructure. She has an impressive 432 GRT and range of 5,000nm at 9 knots.
She sleeps 12 guests in 5 cabins including a main-deck master ensuite with private balcony. In addition, she has a crew capacity of 8.
Immediately stepping onboard, you notice that EMOCEAN has an overwhelming presence of being larger than her 38m much in part to her 8.85m beam, thanks to her naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo and his team at Hydro Tec.
EMOCEAN has proven long-range cruising capabilities with multiple trans-Atlantic crossings completed since delivery. Rosetti has applied over 100 years of commercial ship building expertise into this extremely capable explorer yacht which has many features typically only found on much larger yachts. EMOCEAN has been specifically designed to cruise comfortably in both tropical and cold weather climates, with a special attention to detail being paid to the AC / heating systems onboard.

Walk Through
The main salon has large windows and sliding doors that offer wide sea views, thanks also to the fact that the engine room ventilation shafts have been moved further forward. In addition, two large side sliding doors provide access to the cutaway bulwarks and the side decks. The space is divided into two main areas: a veranda-style seating area towards the stern and the dining area. On the starboard side, a custom-designed wine cellar with a 150 bottle capacity acts as a divider between the dining and seating area. The main vessel galley is located on the port main deck, with access directly to the interior dining space.
The main deck owners’ cabin is spacious and well distributed with a fixed side balcony on the starboard side, accessible through a sliding glass door. The master stateroom itself comprises a private office, large His & Hers bathrooms, and a walk-in wardrobe. The owner’s bathroom features surfaces in marble with both a raw and brushed finish.
On the lower deck is a beach club and four comfortable guest cabins (two twins and two doubles), the twin cabins can be converted into further doubles and feature pullman berths. The lower deck also houses the crew accommodation (three cabins), a crew mess, pantry, and galley. EMOCEAN was built with an engineering access tunnel which runs from the crew mess to the engine room allowing access to the bilges, tanks, and machinery without disturbing guest accommodations.
Between the upper and main deck there is also a dedicated laundry and storage room. The vessel has been built with 3 day heads for guest comfort, one each on the main deck, bridge deck and in the beach club.
On the upper bridge deck is the primary guest interior relaxation space, with a 75inch TV, large sofas, a cards table, and crew service bar. The captain's twin cabin is located adjacent to the wheelhouse with integrated bridge overlooking a huge sun bed at the open foredeck. The tender and jet skis can be stowed on the bridge deck aft for long passages, while a spacious partially shaded is dedicated to an alfresco lounge. For shorter cruises, the main tender can either be stored on the swim platform or towed to open the bridge deck aft. Forward of the bridge is further sun pads and an intimate seating area with table for private dining.
The sundeck of EMOCEAN is undoubtedly the centrepiece for exterior guest entertainment. Aft can be found a large sunbathing area facing over the stern of the yacht, with a gym area to starboard. The primary exterior dining space can be found on the starboard midship of the sundeck, comfortably seating at least 12 guests under the large, fixed sunroof with heaters. To port is a crew service bar with 4 guest stools, with access to the dumb waiter. Forwards are large glass doors which are designed to shelter the sundeck from winds and cold weather, leading onto a large infinity pool (which has its own holding tank).

Our bikes are only delivered pre-assembled, a final fine adjustment and inspection by the buyer or a third party is necessary (costs incurred for this cannot be covered).
