Superyacht SAMADHI (ex. April Fool) was launched in 2006 and refitted in 2014, she is a 60,96m (200ft) Feadship, with naval architecture by De Voogt of the Netherlands. The yacht offers luxury accommodation for up to 10 charter guests.

Her interiors are elegantly refined and welcoming, with complete refit by Remi Tessier in 2014. The main deck features a generous salon aft, with separate formal dining just forward. A foyer leads past the main entrance on the starboard side, where a day head is available, followed by a private audio and visual room that continues into the exceptional master stateroom. The master cabins feature a full beam layout, two walk-in wardrobes, full beam en-suite with tub and sauna, vanity and study desk. Her upper deck has a spacious sky lounge with ample seating, tables and wet bar, perfect for entertaining. Additional guest accommodation is on the lower deck, with three cabins offering king size beds one of which has convertible twin beds. An optional nanny bunk cabin is available on the lower deck within the guest's area.

SAMADHI Specifications

The exterior living is laid over three spacious decks. On the main deck, adjacent to the salon, wide sliding doors give direct access to the aft deck and alfresco dining. The aft deck is shaded and leads down to the extended swim platform and water toys activity area. On her upper deck is a further alfresco dining table. The sundeck is well-appointed, boasting another alfresco dining area and ample seating aft. Centered is a gym. Forward of the gym are sunpads, seating, cocktail bar and deluxe Jacuzzi tub. All decks are accessed by both stairs and an elevator.

The yacht is powered by 2 x CAT 2000hp engines with speeds of 13 to 16 knots. A state of the art stabilization system ensures optimum comfort at sea and anchor.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Accommodation is in 5 cabins, for 10 guests, with an optional nanny room. The master stateroom is full beam of the yacht forward, with a king size bed, his and hers wardrobes, full beam en-suite with large tub, dual sinks and sauna. On the lower deck are 4 cabins, each with private en-suite facilities. 3 of the cabins offer king size beds and one has a convertible twin to double bed.

A refit by Remi Tessier in 2014 took her to new levels of excellence. At 200' (61m) she is an ideal size to welcome up to 10 guests, sleeping in five luxurious staterooms. Among the yacht’s highlights are an impressive master suite, a gym, Jacuzzi, and a large skylounge.

Guests are welcomed by an expert and friendly crew of 16. This talented team is on hand at all times to cater to the needs of guests, keep the yacht in top condition, and create unforgettable charter experiences. This includes serving up gourmet cuisine. The master suite extends across the full beam of the yacht and also has a full-beam en-suite bathroom. Walk-in wardrobes, a sauna and study area add to the attractions. Performance is a priority and SAMADHI is powered by twin Caterpillar engines. The yacht cruises at a steady 13 knots and can reach a top speed of 16 knots.

Guests can make full use of the yacht’s amenities as well as attractions ashore during a charter. The deck areas are optimized for relaxation, with plenty of sun loungers, seating and alfresco dining areas, along with a cocktail bar. There is a gym for guests who want to remain active on their vacation, and water toys for fun on the ocean. 61m Feadship motor yacht Samadhi sold in three months

The 61-metre superyacht Samadhi has been sold in three months in an in-house deal at Edmiston with Alex Busher representing the buyer and both Robert Shepherd and Nathan Farrelly representing the seller.

Built in the Netherlands by Feadship in 2006, the steel and aluminium vessel underwent an extensive refit that was completed in 2023. Her exterior design and naval architecture is by De Voogt and the interior design is by Remi Tessier.

Samadhi accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins. The main deck owner's suite has an office, walk-in wardrobe and marble bathroom with a sauna, bathtub and shower. Two doubles and two convertible twin cabins are located on the lower deck and there is a further twin cabin suitable for children or staff, such as a nanny. There are quarters for a crew of up to 17.

Her light-filled main saloon has an array of "designer sofas and armchairs", all positioned to make the most of the sea views, in addition to a circular dining table further forward. 

Up one deck, the sky lounge can be converted to a cinema and also connects to the upper deck al fresco dining area. The sundeck sports a bar, barbecue, Jacuzzi and translucent awnings that provide shade while keeping the ambience bright. A lift serves all guest decks, right up to the enclosed gym on the sundeck.

The 1,036GT yacht has a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 16 knots under twin 2,001hp Caterpillar diesel engines. She also boasts an ocean-crossing range of 5,000 nautical miles with space to store a 2022 Vanquish V45 chase boat and two Pascoe tenders, all of which are included in the sale.

The sale of Samadhi marked the 40th sale of a Feadship by Edmiston to date.

Samadhi was asking €42,500,000.

Motor Yacht

Originally named April Fool - after being launched on the titular day - this 60.96 metre (200’) custom motor yacht was built by the respected Dutch yacht builders at Feadship. Renamed Samadhi, this modern yacht with flowing lines and a distinctive character was drawn by De Voogt Naval Architects and found her way to the water in 2006.

This superyacht was built for experienced owners, with an emphasis on comfort, noise and vibration as well as incorporating separate TV and dressing rooms on the main deck in addition to a dedicated stateroom. The main lounge has virtually full-length windows, and double doors leading out to the aft deck, making for a very open feel as well as unparalleled views.

With an interior style by Janet Leroy, Samadhi underwent a refit in 2009 and emerged with the highest levels of maintenance, across both exterior and interior. Her exterior spaces offer al fresco dining, while the 8 guests on board can bathe on the sundeck or relax under awning before heading inside to the myriad saloons and dining areas to be looked after by a staff of 18 yacht crew.
