My way yacht description.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht MY WAY is a 72 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. The main attractions of MY WAY are her most appealing features and inviting socializing areas. MY WAY spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the renowned boatbuilder Ferretti in 2002. A succesful refit was finalized in 2022. The expansive yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

MY WAY is classified as a superyacht. The prominent section of the yacht, generous aft deck, leads to the attractive and sleek main salon. The main saloon is a well-design space that is well-equipped to shield from the elements in comfort and enjoyment and boasts a number of entertainment options. 4 tasteful cabins are purposefully laid out with vison for maximum room, access, comfort and privacy.

Captain: George Garifalou George was born in Athens. He graduated from the Hellenic Navy Academy in 2003 and started his professional career as a Hellenic Navy Officer. After 20 years of successful professional career in the Greek Navy he retired at the rank of Captain and began his career in commercial yachting. George has captained numerous boats up to 70 meters. With his vast navigation, engineering experience and extensive knowledge of the Greek waters he makes sure that guests will receive the highest level of service while cruising safely to some of the most beautiful bays and amazing islands in the world. George speaks Greek & English. Chef: Andreas Polyrakis Andreas was born in Chania, Crete. After successfully graduating from the school of tourism professions (chef) in Heraklion, Crete, he followed a 20-year career as a chef in European, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and Greek cuisine in restaurants such as: Nice & Easy Asteras Vouliagmeni, Golf Club Glyfada Athens and Ark (Chef Baxevani's team) in Glyfada which have been awarded as the best restaurant of traditional Greek cuisine in Greece. His second love for the sea led him to yachting. For the second season Andreas is on the "MY WAY" team fulfilling this dream of his, providing guests with his exceptional and amazing cooking. Andreas speaks Greek & English. Stewardess: Zoe Vaila Zoe was born in Athens. After her studies in Business Administration started her professional studies in classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, latin in the National School of Dance. After a successful carrier as a classic ballet dancer and teacher (P. Metaxopoulos Dance School, D. Tsoukala Dance School), her love for the sea led her to yachting industry. She has 3 years of professional yachting experience as a solo stewardess. Her duties include housekeeping, interior cleaning, bar tendering and guest service. Zoe is a hard - working organizer, enjoys challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service to those onboard. Zoe speaks Greek & English. Deckhand: Kostas Kostas was born in Tajikistan and moved permanently to Greece in 1992, because of his Greek father. He studied Law in Moscow university and he was worked in the construction business as a construction contractor. His love for the Greek sea moved him in the yachting industry aiming to be yacht-master in motor yachts. He has 4 years of professional yachting experience and he holds a License for Motor Yacht Skipper up to 24 meters. His duties include maintenance, exterior cleaning, water-toys and tender operations. With his excellent sailor skills and his warm smile, Kostas looks forward to ensuring that all guests have a memorable time during their stay on board MY WAY. Kostas speaks Greek, Russian and English.

Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Newly built in 2018, the 46-meter/150-feet My Way yacht explores the beautiful Dalmatian coastline and stunning Croatian islands. As a deluxe category ship, she offers high service and modern amenities, catering to just 40 passengers. 21 bright and comfortable cabins are located on the lower, main, and upper decks. Each cabin offers en-suite facilities, AC, storage space, and a porthole or picture windows. All cabins also have an LCD TV, safe, desk, hairdryer, and toiletries. Since the My Way has more than one bedding option, please note your preference in the special request field. The spacious indoor lounge and dining area have ample seating for all guests, and the sundeck, with either shaded or open spaces, makes the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. A breakfast and a four-course lunch of delicious traditional Croatian cuisine are included every morning.

Would highly reccommend My Way A very relaxing week. A great combination of chilling on the sundeck, swimming in the Adriatic and visiting some lovely destinations at the back end of the day when it is quieter and cooler. The boat itself is very comfortable and luxurious. The Captain and owner of My Way is very friendly and welcoming. Loads of sunloungers but also lots of shady areas to escape from the sun. The cabins are quite basic but very comfortable and clean. The shower rooms a much larger than we expected but could do with being updated. They are a bit tired and anything metal is very rusty, mildew in shower. The cabins on the Main Deck are a very good size but no bigger or better than the Lower Deck. The Upper Deck cabins which are the most expensive are tiny and not better in quality! The daily walking tours were great but there is no pressure to go on any of the tours or take part in any activities. Would recommend for families or couples, there were all ages on our boat. Top tip - you sit with other guests everyday for breakfast & lunch so If you enjoying meeting interesting people from all over the world it's great, if you're unsociable this is not the vacation for you!! We loved it and will definitely do the small boat experience again! Recommended for Amazing food. Lovely swim stops. Fun Captains Dinner.

Captain: George Garifalou George was born in Athens. He graduated from the Hellenic Navy Academy in 2003 and started his professional career as a Hellenic Navy Officer. After 20 years of successful professional career in the Greek Navy he retired at the rank of Captain and began his career in commercial yachting. George has captained numerous boats up to 70 meters. With his vast navigation, engineering experience and extensive knowledge of the Greek waters he makes sure that guests will receive the highest level of service while cruising safely to some of the most beautiful bays and amazing islands in the world. George speaks Greek & English. Chef: Andreas Polyrakis Andreas was born in Chania, Crete. After successfully graduating from the school of tourism professions (chef) in Heraklion, Crete, he followed a 20-year career as a chef in European, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and Greek cuisine in restaurants such as: Nice & Easy Asteras Vouliagmeni, Golf Club Glyfada Athens and Ark (Chef Baxevani´s team) in Glyfada which have been awarded as the best restaurant of traditional Greek cuisine in Greece. His second love for the sea led him to yachting. For the second season Andreas is on the ´MY WAY´ team fulfilling this dream of his, providing guests with his exceptional and amazing cooking. Andreas speaks Greek & English. Stewardess: Zoe Vaila Zoe was born in Athens. After her studies in Business Administration started her professional studies in classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, latin in the National School of Dance. After a successful carrier as a classic ballet dancer and teacher (P. Metaxopoulos Dance School, D. Tsoukala Dance School), her love for the sea led her to yachting industry. She has 3 years of professional yachting experience as a solo stewardess. Her duties include housekeeping, interior cleaning, bar tendering and guest service. Zoe is a hard - working organizer, enjoys challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service to those onboard. Zoe speaks Greek & English. Deckhand: Kostas Kostas was born in Tajikistan and moved permanently to Greece in 1992, because of his Greek father. He studied Law in Moscow university and he was worked in the construction business as a construction contractor. His love for the Greek sea moved him in the yachting industry aiming to be yacht-master in motor yachts. He has 4 years of professional yachting experience and he holds a License for Motor Yacht Skipper up to 24 meters. His duties include maintenance, exterior cleaning, water-toys and tender operations. This striking luxury vessel measures 34.10m (111' 11") and offers beautiful on board spaces with accommodation for up to 10 charter guests in 5 stateroom. The lower deck swim platform provides a large area for sunbathing close to the water, and stairways on both sides join to the main deck aft where a pair of sofas and armchairs are placed around a coffee table for coffee mornings and nightcaps with friends and family. Side walkways lead past a fold-down swim platform off the formal dining area where there is a forward-facing sofa and a sunbed fitted into the bow.

A stairway to port off the main deck aft connects to the upper deck aft, a large outdoor area boasting a plush sofa, two armchairs and a matching fabric foot-rest/coffee table in cerise, and a large circular alfresco dining table close to the doors into the sky lounge.

A port stairway leads up to the flybridge, which treats guests to fantastic views of the area, sun loungers along the stern and a sunpad forward that conceals a Jacuzzi underneath. The helm controls are forward to starboard and the cabinetry around the communications mast conceals a fridge and bar within.

The beautiful contemporary interior styling uses a neutral colour palette with natural materials and tones the most prominent. All of the bathrooms are finished in marble with parquet flooring. Traditional touched can be seen in the wall sconces, tying present comforts to the rich maritime history.

The lower deck layout placed the crew accommodation forward with the guest accommodation amidships accessed by a separate stairway for greater guest privacy. The engine room is aft and the tender garage with water toys storage in the stern.

On the main deck, the master suite takes up the forward section, followed by the galley and main foyer that lead through to the main salon aft. The formal dining area is forward in this space and seats up to eight guests in comfort. Behind, a large corner sofa is placed on the port side of the room along with an armchair and coffee table for unwinding at any time of the day.

MY WAY Specifications

On the upper deck behind the helm station is the sky lounge. Within, there is a sofa to port and a drinks/games table on the opposite side of the room, creating a casual and laid-back space for socialising.

A pair of MTU 10V 2000 M72 or MTU 10V 2000 M96 engines produce a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 2,750 nautical miles at an economical 11 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. ~ The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and is fitted with a king-sized bed against the centre aft wall, with a pop-up 40" widescreen TV opposite and a sofa/daybed in the forward starboard corner. A desk is placed beneath the starboard window and storage is placed throughout the room, with a walk-in-wardrobe aft before the door into the foyer. In addition to the 180-degree windows, there is a skylight above the bed for plenty of natural lighting throughout the day. The en-suite is behind the bedroom and has two sinks, a toilet, a bidet and a shower. ~ The VIP stateroom is placed on the lower deck and comes with a queen-sized bed with a 32" TV on the wall opposite, a desk/vanity and plenty of storage space. The en-suite bathroom comes with a sink, toilet, bidet and a shower. ~ The double cabins both have a double bed, a 28" widescreen TV on the wall opposite, large storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. ~ The twin cabin has twin beds and the same amenities as the double cabin. ~ The professional crew of 5 will provide guests with first-class service throughout their time on board.
