Nightmare trip by Dream Yacht Charter USA Let me preface this by saying I am in the hospitality industry & have NEVER written an online negative review because I believe in industry karma & to work with clients behind the scenes to avoid hurting business. I tried & gave them so many chances but dream yacht charter failed miserably ruining a very expensive vacation we planned approx half a year in advance. We booked the charter of a catamaran with them in February for a July trip around the Spanish islands. I booked charters before & understand what goes into the planning. We were advised that with Spanish law, we could only have 12 people on board including guests and crew. We were 10 in our party (2 families consisting of 4 adults and 6 kids ranging 6 to 14 years old). Usually we would book a skipper, cook, and host. The host in the past was responsible for light meals of breakfast and lunch, snacks and drinks, helping the skipper l, & most importantly tidying up the boat and keeping our quarters clean and organized. Because we felt the cleaning was paramount to fancy meals on board in a foodie country like Spain, we opted for the host vs the cook. Not sure what happens on other boats but on a catamaran we are always told we cannot flush toilet paper in the toilets so you have to wipe your poo & throw it out in a small trash next to the toilet & the staff removes it daily when cleaning. I made this crystal clear to DYC that cleanliness for us was most important over cooking. The catamaran had 6 bedrooms & 2 small front rooms for the crew. Our party needed all 6 bedrooms based on ages and gender of kids. With the advanced notice, we asked for crew info & itinerary suggestions. DYC said we cannot have crew info until closer to the departure & itinerary would be discussed with skipper. A while passed and now a few weeks until the trip & balance paid in full. $30k USD for 2 families for a week charter including meals and crew. Fuel and marina charges separate. I once again asked for crew info. Still no crew and now a new sales person involved named Celine. We needed to wait until a week before for the crew. We were then supplied resumes of a captain and host. We were thrown a curveball stating the staff would need one of the bedrooms- this was impossible with the boat configuration so DYC stated they will use the two small quarters at the front but need to share a bathroom with us - which was fine. The main issue we were unaware of until we arrived was the staff quarters had no AC. We tried to reach out to skipper for itinerary planning but no answer. When we arrived to the marina, no one was there to help us with our luggages like previous trips. DYC had no real check in process which left us confused. We also saw that the boat was not in the best shape with dirt, weathered furnishings, ceiling tiles dropping down, smaller accommodations than previous same boats, etc. but I looked past this & the lack of service upon arrival. We met the captain and host. We went over the rules & safety guidelines & were off. But this then become uncomfortable- the skipper asked for one of the bedrooms with bunk beds to share with the host. We stated and showed why it wasn't possible & we were told DYC told them they would have a bedroom because there was no AC in the front staff quarters. Right away we were put in a terrible position upon the start of the trip. We kept things as is but the staff were obviously annoyed right away. The first evening the staff was smoking on board & we made them stop. The host was overheard yelling numerous times at the skipper. She was upset she was supposed to clean up after us and we also asked for hand and shower soap as there was none unlike other chartered trips we had. I was later told by DYC agent that soap was our responsibility to bring which was ridiculous as this was always something supplied (like toilet paper!). The next day the staff was noticeably upset due to bad sleep with no AC. We felt bad so both sets of parents decided to have our 6 and 9 year olds sleep in between us the next night to give up the bunk bed quarter. $30k USD to sleep with grown kids sandwiched in between us in queen beds. Great holiday! Because DYC never got the skipper info to us, we had no itinerary and even worse we had no ability to book marina spots for our boat so we were stuck every night in the middle of the sea & only way to get on shore was for skipper to take us on the dingy and pick us up. This was super inconvenient and we were made to feel bad each time we wanted to go out. Read the rest: https://m.facebook.com/groups/dreamyachtchartersuck/permalink/1126779991244629/

Let me be very clear, I read all the reviews before I used them and was terrified that our trip would be a disaster. I can't speak for Dream Yacht in any place other than Nassau (Palm Cay Marina) in the Bahamas but at this location, they were spot on. We did not have a single issue, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were told 48 hours before our trip that the boat we had reserved was having mechanical issues and they were giving us another boat. I, being a planner, was very concerned, especially after reading all the reviews. However, the boat they gave us was a nice upgrade, had everything we had wanted on the original boat and more. They answered all my questions, did a great briefing, made sure we had everything we needed and were wonderful with the check out. Every person we dealt with at this marina from Cream Yacht was just wonderful! Alex deserves a special mention as he arranged for everything and put up with all my questions! Thank you Alex! You all have an amazing team! Keep up the great work!

Do no eve n THINK about spending a dime with this company! We booked a cruise over a year ago and we were the first to book for this particular itinerary/week. 2 more cabins were booked after us but we were notified that the group was broken up; two couples on a smaller vessel and we were alone on a smaller vessel. They said that we would have a private cruise if no one else signed up. Then 11DAYS before, they changed and cancelled on us! We were left to scramble to figure out an alternative and there were none. So now we are on land NOT having the all inclusive vacation we'd planned on for over a year AND incurring more expenses to get out on to the water for some of the days, provisioning our own meals etc. They said that the decision was made my authority in Europe that was impossible to reach and the decision was final. JUST DON'T DO IT. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE.

Unprofessional Operation - Plenty of Alternatives A group of six of us chartered a five cabin Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 for seven days in January 2023 from Dream Yacht Charter QLD and encountered many boat problems along with unprofessional & hostile charter management. 1. Lost a day because the generator was faulty. Partly because of this, the boat briefing was spasmodic and disjointed (briefer claimed first time to brief on this boat) as he was also dealing with the tender's fuel tank not being full, replacing the missing ice chest, filling the boats water tank and agreeing the BBQ was unclean but didn't have the time to address it. 2. Rain leak in starboard saloon and the boat was delivered with tarpaulin that had to be rearranged to slow the leaks. (Cushions sodden wet, had to be stripped and dried over following 2 days) 3. Dead and live cockroaches in cabins, saloon, and cockpit (6 instances) 4. Main outhaul was chaffed, unsafe to the extent we stopped using the sail. 5. Forward port cabin hatch also taped up to prevent rain from entering. 6. Shore power leads (all three connectors) were full of water and tripped the dock relay. We had to disassemble, dried and taped with plastic. (QYC accuses we dropped in the water, we did not) 7. 2 x AC's not working (stern port cabin front saloon unit) and both fail to cool air. There were several other more debatable issues but given Dream Yacht Charter's blameless responses and complete unwillingness to take any responsibility we let these issues speak for themselves. We were offered a refund for 1 1/2 days rental, which we declined in preference for sharing our experience in the hope others reconsider using such a shoddy operator as Dream Yacht Charter their other brand, QYC (Queensland Yacht Charters)

I promised my family dream vacation and instead we got a broken boat, 6 days on a floating toilet smelling of sewage; the first 2 days spent in the marina standing on the dock watching the boat being repaired. I contracted for a boat, specific in the contract you must sign with these un-ethical people and it simply wasn't delivered. Instead, we walked up to an old chartered-out MESS, surprised the boat was still afloat (big bash in the starboard bow, did it leak? No one seemed interested. Not sea-worthy? No one inspected, no one seemed to care). So much other things to worry about! Headsail in tatters, exposed wiring (on a 220v boat!!), port motor not running (!), moldy mattresses, port 2+ cabin water-logged, backed-up sewage from the waste tanks spilling out the waste vent, no refrigerator, no contracted gen-set, no A/C. All not compensated by the "Dream Yacht" non-existent "customer service" and their placating "one day voucher credit" on another Dream Yacht vacation! (They must believe their customers are crazy?) Once you sucker-up and sign the contract they have your MONEY, and you are now betting that money that you won't be SCREWED by these people waiting for them to deliver on their contractual promise. Good Luck. You might, randomly, get lucky, and get a boat that is newer and not a chartered-out and broken POS but good luck with that, don't count on it. Picture yourself standing in the hot sun at the marina with no place to stay, no provisions, no communication with them about the broken boat you've contracted, and you'll get the idea. They LITERALLY DON'T CARE. And don't think that your credit card will protect you, tried contesting the contracted charge for non-delivery and was denied because "the merchant is not liable for "the quality' of the rendered service." Can you believe it? I was SCREWED by DYC. Un service client horrible et une expérience horrible.

Chartered in Tahiti in April, the boat was poorly maintained and we spent hours in the bilge fixing water pressure, steering and water maker problems. Truly the boat was unsafe and we almost returned the 2nd day when the steering failed. The roof was damaged and leaked in the rain, the mainsail wouldn't fully raise and was covered in mold. Galley was ill stocked without even a toaster which in the ad said it did have. The port side head didn't work, fuel line to dinghy had no clamp and kept falling off spilling fuel, low battery alarm Stbd side constantly sounding off, Stbd helm seat broken, propane tank ran out 2nd day which we replaced for $38 and no compensation, had to turn off the tank after each use. The beds had a single old sheet and towels were old... the boat smelled of mold and was only 10 years old. With all the issues we had to work on daily you'd think DreamYacht would have made some kind of compensation, but nothing, not even an apology! We used Conch Charters in the BVI;'s a year prior and they were excellent and the boat was amazing so do your shopping and read reviews!

Just returned from a great trip to the USVI's and rented a 350 Dufore for 2 people. The staff we interacted with was great and the folks on the dock were wonderful. Check in and out was a breeze and the boat was in fine shape. Debriefing is always important as to not let issues with the boat get passed forward. Bianka, Anniesha, and Arnold in the office were very helpful and professional. We will use them again.

I would give them a "0" if it were an option! Our bareboat sailing group has been on several charters over the past several years and have always had a great experience. This was our first time to use Dream Yacht Charter and I can guarantee that we will NOT be using the company again for any of our future excursions and I highly caution anyone looking into DYC Belize to reconsider. I could write an extremely long review (this one is just long!), but I will focus on 2 main concerns I had with DYC-Belize for your consideration, which are 1) boat maintenance, and 2) poor customer service. Let me begin by saying that as boating/sailing people, our group of 8 is not naive to the fact that things will go wrong with a boat and we have had our issues with other boats in the past. However, we have never lost confidence in a charter company and felt that we needed to abandon the charter. I cannot say the same of DYC-Belize, as our co-captains noticed some safety issues with our boat from the debrief (i.e., no wind direction indicator, issues with the battery voltage meters, and no chase boat to assist us in the case of any issues) and the issues only continued once we embarked. Despite these early concerns, we are an experienced crew and we were prepared to take the boat out only to have 2 more issues the next morning before we could even get to our first destination (i.e.,the port side engine quit running as we were pulling away from the dock- which had to be replaced; battery charge warning lights on the engines during the first hour of our trip- which ended up being the alternator). After motoring back to the dock for another hour, and having had 2 major issues with our boat, our crew determined that it would be unsafe for us to stay on the DYC boat at this point. Unfortunately, DYC has decided not to refund us for any part of our failed trip despite the fact that there were some major issues with their boat and any sane person would be concerned about going out on a boat after the issues we experienced. As if the boat and safety issues were not enough to railroad our sailing vacation, the treatment we received from the 2 men working for DYC-Belize was revolting. A sailing trip is not a cheap vacation by any means and we are 8 mature-aged working professionals (business owners, PhDs, and senior managers), but we were treated with extreme insolence from the moment we exited our taxi. We were chastised for the amount of alcohol we purchased (the same amount we have gotten on all previous charters) and the base manager went as far as gossiping to another customer about our alcohol order (one of our co-captains came up on the conversation). Not one of us was inebriated when we arrived at the dock, slept on the boat that evening, left the dock the next morning, or returned to the dock when we had the engine issues. We gave the base manager absolutely no reason to question our alcohol intake or ability to responsibly take the boat on a charter. Furthermore, the DYC did not have water on the provisioning list (the irony) and we had to figure out a way to get enough drinking water for a 6-day sail for 8 people. Then, before leaving the next morning, we realized that they had not fulfilled our entire provisioning order, as we were missing ALL of our fruits and vegetables (we cook almost all meals on the boat- these were key components to most of our meals). Needless to say, this trip started out very stressful and unpleasant. Luckily, we were able to salvage the vacation by booking with another charter company in the same area and although we lost some days on the boat, we stayed at 2 very accommodating resorts in Placencia. Other than the DYC crew and the damage to our pocketbooks, our experience in Belize and with the Belizean people was amazing.

Wow. Where do I start? We've been chartering for a few years now in different locations throughout the Caribbean, but this is our first experience with Dream Yacht. I began planning this trip more than a year in advance of setting sail. Sailing in Belize can be challenging, and in the interest of maximizing our time there and ensuring crew safety, I read everything I could get my hands on including thoroughly reviewing Rauscher. But from the moment we walked into the DYC base in Placencia, our trip began to turn into a nightmare. The base manager, George, immediately began chastising me and my crew about the amount of alcohol we provisioned for our charter...using DYC's mandatory provisioning process no less. Let me be clear that I provided our provisioning order 2 weeks in advance of actually arriving with copy to George. Not only did he have nothing to say about our order then, but he actually didn't even respond when I followed up a week later to make sure he received it and asked if they had any questions or if there would be any shortages. That was just the beginning, because come to find out, after having inventoried the provisions they provided us, DYC completely failed to provide ANY of the fresh fruits and vegetables we ordered despite our having paid for them. Once we brought this to George's attention, it took them almost 2 hours to procure the items and bring them to us so we could actually leave the dock. Fast forward to the boat debrief when my co-captain and I learned that (1) the wind direction indicator and battery voltage meters weren't working and (2) DYC didn't have a chase boat, so if we had a problem during the charter, they likely wouldn't be able to get to us soon, if they could get to us at all. Every charterer has experienced some problems but to send us out with KNOWN ISSUES seemed a little worrisome if not completely unprofessional. Still anxious to leave however and finally provisioned, we untethered only to find the port side engine no longer running and no longer turning over at all. With one engine functional, we managed to make our way back to the dock only to have to wait ANOTHER hour as George replaced a set of contactors which were preventing the engine from starting. Now FINALLY heading out and after having motored 9 miles toward our first destination, we began receiving battery charge warning lights on both engines. I called back to the base to speak with George. He wanted us to return to the base. We did only to find that the port side alternator had ALSO failed. Two major mechanical failures in the first 2 hours of the charter and not a single sail yet lifted! The WORST part was that George was blaming the failure on us. He said I told him I was running the engines at 3000rpm (COMPLETELY untrue since I actually told him we had been running between 2000 & 2200rpm). If this scares you reading this, it should. But it gets worse. At this point, we had lost any confidence we might've had with DYC and began seeking another charter company. Luckily, one was located right next door and we determined they would be able to put us into a comparably sized boat with the loss of only two days. Disappointing, yes, but I could no longer trust my safety or the safety of my crew with this boat OR this base manager. So we made the difficult decision to pack up and leave. Upon reporting to George that we would be leaving the boat and seeking a refund, my co-captain found him talking to another charter group STILL complaining about our alcohol order. In the face of all of the problems we had just had, the lack of professionalism he displayed at that moment was unlike any I had EVER experienced. If reading this, I implore you to avoid this charter company at all costs. As a final word of warning, we still have yet to receive a refund of any kind. Belize is a beautiful place to visit, but USE DYC AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Overall very disappointed with the condition of the boat from the moment we saw the Dufour 412 we chartered from DYC October 30th-November 6, 2021 (Walk on the Moon). First impression, a very tired, worn vessel. Last impression, DYC in St. Thomas is run like a MASH unit doing only what's necessary to send the vessel back out on charter. What was wrong ranged from down right dangerous, to inconvenient and everything in between. Here's a list of what we experienced: 1. DANGEROUS - the main sheet (line) was thread bare down to the inner core, that line was ready to snap. ( I did learn this was changed upon return of boat although they commented that it wasn't viewed as dangerous!!??) 2. Ran out of water - 50 gallons for 3 people lasted 3 days and we conserved, second 50 gallons lasted not even 24 hours. That boat has a leak. 3. Battery alarm went off each night. In order to avoid that we need to leave the engine running while we were trying to relax on the boat, revving the engine to 1200RPM. The battery wouldn't hold a charge otherwise. My husband was up out of bed dealing with an alarm in the middle of the night on vacation. The base said that was normal and I should run the engine for 4 hours every day! That boat had batteries that wouldn't hold a charge and they are holding on as long as possible. 4. As mentioned above, numerous rips, tears to canvas as well as dings, scrapes to gelcoat. The canvas was dirty and the ability to fold back the canvas to see up did not hang properly. So for those in our party 6 feet tall the canvas was on his head. They said this is normal for a 3 year old boat, just nuts. The dirt needs cleaning and canvas needs patching, that boat is neglected. 5. No operative coffee maker - French press leaked grinds, plastic drip cone was cracked. Made coffee one cup at a time with cup in the sink holding the drip cone. They wrote off the French press as working, I guess everyone loves sludge for coffee. 6. No glasses to make cocktails. There wasn't one glass on that boat that would hold ice cubes. We brought the liquor, mixes and boat ice with a reasonable assumption we would be able to have a drink. Only way to have that happen was to use the coffee cup I used that morning for coffee, just awful. The response, plenty of glassware, sure for shots in juice glasses but that doesn't work for cocktails with cubes. 7. Outside cabin top lighting - only the port side worked. Starboard side was out. We used a candle outside to see our food and drink on the outdoor table. No response 8. No cockpit cushions! I do not consider West Marine throwables cockpit cushions! There were some additional store bought patio cushions that were a mismatch of texture, color and comfort. All were bad and uncomfortable. They responded that the boat had cushions, in other words, buyer beware. 9. Utensils - odd mismatch 10. Cooler - Rubbermaid - had wheels and a handle that would not retract. Ironic that we were specifically told to not bring luggage with wheels but the cooler provided had them??! And the cooler leaked. They responded that that was all they had. 11. Bow bedroom mattress had mold and stains. Yuck. They responded that is normal in the Caribbean?! As you can see this boat not only didn't provide a luxury Dream Yacht experience it detracted from the vacation overall. I provided this feedback to the base upon check out and haven't heard from them. If I didn't write to info@dreamyachtcharter I would have heard nothing. Our boat was "Walk on the Moon". They offered money (credit) towards a future yacht charter. Please share this review with others that may be considering a yacht charter out of St. Thomas and go with another firm.

“DYC bareboat in Abacos. April.May 2023. S/V Yepa (on loan out of New Prov).”

This was my second time chartering with DYC in the Abacos - once before Dorian and the Rona and and once after - and I simply can't say enough good about the experience. The pre-sales team was great in getting us a boat and a plan that fit our trip, and the charter base in Abaco treated us like nothing short of family! We initially reserved a Lagoon 52; two days before boarding, we were notified that a sail drive on the 52 needed to be repaird - we were upgraded to a Bali 5.4 at no cost. The Bali came from the New Prov base, with a few minor issues at inspection - like all charter boats do - and the Abaco base took care of everything that morning. Chain counter was inop - we just counted like olde tyme. Bow thrusters were inop (first time I've seen bow thrusters on a cat --- why?). High Pressure pump on an A/C needing to be reset was the worst of it. Sailbag had the average charter-boat wear and tear, zero actual issues there. Watermaker worked fine for the week. Generator worked fine for the week. Fridge worked fine for the week. Icemaker worked fine for the week. A/C worked fine for the week (HP reset was before leaving the dock). Toilets, shower, sinks, stove, winches, lines, standing and running rigging, engines, etc, all in top shape. Two full propane tanks. Barbeque tools. SQUEAKY CLEAN barbeque (should be - it was propane). Bilges dry, through-hulls clean, circuit breaker fine, lights fine. Transom shower fine. Swim ladder fine. Hatches and ports and windows and doors all fine. Chart plotters up to date, no scratches or sunfade on any displays. Autopilot worked like a champ. Zero scratches on the magnetic compass. Dived the boat on a few snorkel outings - very little growth underneath, rudder and skegs all in top shape. A few torn handles on the dinghy - again, average wear and tear on a charter boat - we used the dinghy several times most days (had enough crew to require 2 trips on most outings), no problem at all. Dingy motor was tuned well. Kitchen was well-appointed. My brother is a chef, he brought his own tools, the second day he put his tools back in his bag. The charter base manager was great - we ran through our sail plan for the week and he suggested a few things that made the trip better. The charter base customer care manager was also great - checked to see if there was anything we needed to make our trip more comfortable or enjoyable, made sure we had answers to any questions. We hired a day skipper for 1 day, to help us learn the specific boat; I would not do the day skipper again. He was a contractor but I still put that on DYC because they hired him. I also put that on me - crew and I should have invested the time in walking the boat and dry-running certain operations instead of relying on someone else. We had a few challenges the first few days, and the base was always responsive and helpful. One of our crew got sunstroke towards the end of the trip, so we asked if we could come in early and stay on the dock. When we pulled in, DYC met us and asked if anyone needed medical attention - they had already called clinics to verify that someone was available should we need it. We did cause damage to the boat (sorry, owner!) - we notified the base when it happened, and reminded them of the damage when we pulled in. They went over everything with us, and we came to a very amicable agreement. I've got friends who are charter brokers; I've got friends who have discounts with charter companies; it might be different in other bases, but for the Abacos I simply can't think of any reason why I would not charter with DYC. Similar experience in 2018 on a Lagoon 42 in the Abacos with DYC. Watermaker, generator, sails, rigging, cushions, galley, cabins, heads, electronics, dinghy, etc, all in great shape.

“Class Action Suite”

Just had a disastrous engagement with Dream Yacht Charters. The boat was not acceptable having maintenance and safety issues. Given all the similar experiences of baiting (their sails and marketing … really good) and switching (their delivery … beyond bad) is there a class action lawsuit in the works … that we can join rather then their attempt to buy our silence?

Should you use Dream Yacht Charter? Read this and then decide. Our bareboat charter sailboat was advertised to have several convenient and appealing systems that would make a family's vacation safe and comfortable. However, we quickly found that some of the critically important and desirable ones were broken: - Broken windlass (no way to anchor safely – like having no brakes in a car) - Broken fresh-water maker (fresh-water rationing) - Broken AC (sleepless nights from the sweltering heat) - Incompatible propane tank valve (no way to cook our provisions - forced to dinghy in to buy expensive restaurant food) - Bad dinghy motor (unable to leave and return to boat reliably and safely) I heard from one of their USVI technicians that they know at least one onboard system was broken before they sent us out on our 10-day USVI vacation. Within 24 hours after leaving the marina, we discovered other broken systems. Over the next eight days I made 40 calls to their emergency mechanical hotline. On the rare occasions that a human answered (the voice mailbox was always full so no messages could be left), they repeatedly assured us that someone would be sent out immediately to repair all the issues. Finally, eight days later, they sent two technicians to fix one issue – they brought a propane tank with proper fittings so that we could now cook our provisions. Why did they lie about fixing the issues immediately? Why didn't they respond sooner? Why didn't they fix the issues before the charter? Why didn't they swap out the boat for one that was known to be usable? In addition to the broken items mentioned above there were other things that underscored negligence and chronically poor maintenance: - Heavily encrusted hull bottoms (looked like it had not been cleaned in years) - Badly damaged, unrepaired bow (potential water intrusion) - Failure to provide prearranged extras (they have yet to provide a refund) - Leaking windows (significant rain intrusion) - Filthy condition of cushions (appeared not to have not been cleaned for years) - Numerous broken snaps and Velcro (loss of cushions while underway) - Ripped helm bimini We were trapped on the boat in survival mode instead of joyous vacation mode with limited ability to stay at the locations we had planned to visit because the windlass was broken. It was unsafe, uncomfortable, and disappointing. It was worse than renting a camper van in the peak of summer in Florida, and finding that the brakes, AC, stove, motor, and other systems were malfunctioning or completely unusable. Wouldn't you at least expect a refund from the car rental company. I have detailed documentation on everything that happened - lists of all calls made and numerous damning images/descriptions of all the broken and deficient systems. These have been shared with DYC and I will gladly share any of this information with anyone who is interested to see proof of these claims. Upon returning home after the "vacation" I made numerous attempts (calls, e-mails, and certified letters) to seek restitution. After weeks of delay, they finally responded with a paltry and insulting compensation offer for ruining our vacation, and at this time they have refused to provide a refund or negotiate further to reach a fair settlement. They cannot and have not refuted the facts stated above. They know them to be true. They just don't care or want to provide fair restitution. This charter was not the only contentious interaction I had with them. Prior to this disastrous charter, I had two other unpleasant encounters. In the first one, they refused to honor a promise that was used to convince me not to cancel my reservation during the 2020 Covid shutdown. They promised to add two free days to the charter but never honored the promise. In the second interaction, they failed to return phone calls in a timely manner causing an important deadline to pass. Their sloth cost me a great deal of aggravation to prove, with documentation through numerous e-mails and telephone calls, that it was their fault that the deadline was missed. My experiences with them have convinced me that they don't care about anything, except getting your money. There are better more customer focused competitors out there. They have demonstrated that this customer's satisfaction was not a high priority for them. https://youtu.be/MH6t4v0Rrm0 #dreamyachtcharter #yachtcharter #sailingcharter #sailing #bareboatcharter #catamaranrental #sailboatcharter #USVICharter #catamaranrental #catamaranvacation #dreamyachtcharters #yachtcharters #sailingcharters #sailing #bareboatcharters #catamaranrentals #sailboatcharters #USVICharters #catamaranrentals #catamaranvacations #sailingtips

Worst charter experience we have ever had (over 20 previous bareboat charters). Unsafe, uncaring, unresponsive, unwilling to try and make it right. We chartered for 2 weeks out of Nassau in July. Reserved a 1.5 year old Lagoon 40 in hopes of getting a nice boat in good condition. This is not a vendetta against DYC. I'd love to help them improve and make things right not just for myself but for others as well. The avenues I have tried to accomplish this so far have not worked. The largest problem was that when issues were found, DYC just said that's the way it is and did nothing to make it better on our charter or after. After months of negotiating, they offered $300 compensation on a 2 week charter without AC, without a safe boat, without a safe dinghy, and with many other issues. We had no reliable contact information for the base while on the boat. The number on our booking confirmation email did not work, and the number on Google did not work. The boat is a 15 min walk from the base and we were left to fend for ourselves or make the walk multiple times. We were given a semi responsive phone number at the end of day two. The boats AC in the port hull had been disassembled / removed from the port hull at checkout, and they have known about that for a long time, said it would take a week sitting at the marina to have it fixed. Although it was July in the Bahamas and we paid for AC, we were out of luck. After returning they offered $300 compensation. The boat ran on 220V European voltage, but had 110 appliances onboard DYC put a 110v toaster and blender on the boat. We found out that the appliances were 110V when the toaster caught fire. I had my entire family on a boat that caught fire because I trusted DYC!? Broken vessel rudder: The Port rudder had the bottom 1-2" missing, shaft was noticeably bent, delamination in the rudder showed significant algae growth indicating that the damage has been there for a long time. We did not dive the bottom of the boat in the marina, so we discovered this after the 7 hour passage from Nassau to the Exumas. Compromised steering on a boat should be a non-starter! Dinghy failures: Upon leaving the charter marina, the dingy davit eyelets on the dinghy ripped out of the rigid hull. The wood behind the fiberglass was rotten, black, and soft indicating that the dingy was old and neglected. This happened in the middle of the tight exit channel with coral / shoals on either side in seas much too large to safely recover a half hanging dinghy off the back of our boat. With no reliable contact number we brought the boat into the marina and backed into a slip. The workers lamented… "our dingy's are so bad" and then took off trying to find a replacement. They brought by different options that were completely unacceptable. Leaking dinghys that required constant bailing, dinghy's that did not even run well enough for the dock hands to get them to us, etc. We landed on a dinghy with two leaking tubes, an unremovable wooden plug JB welded in to drain plug, and a smoky engine with a damaged prop and questionable reliability. We asked for a better dinghy and were told that was it, otherwise we could wait a week for a different one. This dinghy almost sank while motoring back to our boat in a squall and put my family in danger. Mis-calibrated vessel depth gauge: During "checkout" I was told that the depth reading on the boat was absolutely the depth below the keel, not the depth below the waterline. Using a lead line and measuring tape, the actual water depth was 2 feet SHALLOWER than the reading below the keel. If we trusted the DYC base (I advise not trusting DYC) we would have been in danger of running aground. At checkout we were told the starboard refrigeration unit was a freezer and the port was a refrigerator. We provisioned for two weeks accordingly and bought a ton of meat and perishables to be frozen in the starboard "freezer" With food costs in the Bahamas, and accounting for people for 2 weeks this was a large sum of money. The starboard unit was always meant to be a refrigerator and would not reach freezing temps. Most of our meat spoiled and was wasted. We have worked over the last 3 months to give DYC the opportunity to make this right and they have come back with a $300 refund which is insulting. I write this review in hopes of saving others from going what we went through. We spoke with other DYC guests at the base who went through similar issues. We toured the Moorings base at the same location and it looked very impressive and was a stark contrast to what was going on at the DYC side.

We bareboat chartered a catamaran for two weeks in June in the Exumas - my husband, me, our three kids aged 11-25, two teen nieces, and one boyfriend. The cat pictured was so perfect, 4 separate cabins with private heads each and three spacious common areas. When we arrived, we were told the boat we were supposed to charter had been damaged by the last charterers. There were no more cats available (although we saw plenty all around us) so we were downgraded to a monohull with two private heads and one head off the salon for the other cabins to share. We were very much looking forward to the cat, not only for the ideal sleeping arrangements, but also for the luxurious shared spaces - a monohull does not compare and eight people quickly gets crowded. The bahamas anchorages are very shallow, having a monohull meant we had to anchor far out or avoid anchorages we could have gone to in a cat. We were also assured hard kayaks were available but when we got there, there were only inflatable kayaks that took forever to inflate - and they forgot to give us paddles! The base also provides shuttling to the nearby grocery store for provisioning, but it was very expensive despite the short trip (and should have been comped considering the problems). It would have been nice if provisioning was provided like Moorings does. Fitting everyone for snorkel gear and fins was irritating insanity. Rather than letting us pick our gear like Moorings does, a woman kept bringing us fins to try on and then she would run back to the storage area and get new ones for us to try on. It took forever and somehow we ended up missing an entire set of fins and a snorkel to go with its mask - so we had to take turns snorkeling rather than all go together. Also, the chart chip we were given was completely unreliable, the depths were not even close to correct - my husband had just been on our sailboat in the Bahamas the week before (our boat had an issue, hence the charter), and our several year old chart chip was spot on. The GPS screen on the monohull was in an awkward spot so you couldn't easily watch it when you were at the helm. The boat was not available for us to leave at 5pm, we had to stay until the next day to repair the water pump and a broken fan (replaced with a fan without a protective cover, right by our head in a berth). During the checkout, we were told the boat had a shallower draft than the boat's documentation said. We had other issues with the boat, oil was spilling out of the engine and the forward sump pump stopped working, dream yacht quickly flew someone to where we were to fix it but we had to stay at the island that had the airport and then we had to dinghy him back-and-forth, so we spent a few days dealing with this problem, rather than having fun with our six passengers. A battery was bad and the alarm went off for the entire trip, the repairman didn't fix that. The bilge pump ran continuously. There were no tools on the boat. The galley was pretty but so poorly outfitted we didn't even have pans to use in the oven (so the oven was completely unusable) and there were no potholders. The french press coffeemaker was cracked and not usable, no whisk, no mixing bowls, no measuring spoons, only one 1/2 cup measuring cup. We were told the bottom refrigerator drawer was a freezer but it was actually a refrigerator, so our meats defrosted until we figured out that error. Bahamas in June is very hot, normally we don't have air-conditioning, but this boat did have it. It didn't work in three of the cabins so those people were dying while others were freezing trying to get the air to with the all of cabins. Obviously we didn't use the air conditioning 24/7 since it required running the engine but the fans were a poor replacement, some of them barely worked or didn't work at all, five guests were miserable trying to sleep. At the end, we had to fuel up the boat, but we couldn't get anyone on the radio and had to wait outside of the channel for 45 minutes before anyone answered. Then we had to wait ages until it was our turn, because people sat at the fuel dock and didn't get out of the way when they were finished fueling. We had a great trip anyway, but it was not at all what we expected and paid for. We did get the difference between the two boats refunded, and the kayak rentals refunded, but we would've preferred to have the things we were willing to pay for. In the past, we have chartered with Moorings in the Bahamas and Caribbean, and Hinckley in Maine, and never had issues like this.

Dream Yacht Charter Kotor

Rented a sailboat for a week in Kotor, Montenegro in September 2022. When we had our checkout the base manager came straight on to the boat and went straight to the gearbox oil dipstick, before he looked at anything else, announced we had “milk in the gearbox” (water), that we must have run over a line or a plastic bag and that the diver would confirm. The boat had to be removed from the water and we had a huge insurance claim. I know full well we had not hit a line and had inspected the propeller many times snorkelling. Of course the diver found nothing and after an hour of arguing the base manager relented. It was a brand new boat that also had a broken bow thruster and broken Bimini. I have been very suspicious of this milk scam ever since and now check the gearbox first thing at check in any time I hire a boat. This summer we hired at another company in Split, Croatia. Got to know the base manager and told him the milk story. He said DYC is famous for not maintaining boats. He also checked the milk story with a friend who works and DYC Croatia who said that is a common scam. He would never check the gearbox oil unless the diver found something on the propeller shaft. I don’t usually write reviews but this confirms my suspicions about DYC. Advise you avoid them in the Adriatic or be aware of this scam. It’s similar to the scam the major care hire firms are using in Spain and Portugal to claim for old damage from previous hires…. Beware.

Tahiti: Favorite Charter Yet!

Tahiti is incredible and seeing it by boat will leave you feeling bad for everyone stuck at a resort! This was our third charter with Dream Yacht and we enjoyed an excellent experience during booking, check-in and check-out. The base staff in Raiatea are welcoming, informative and genuinely hustle to get you off the dock. We can't wait to return and explore more of French Polynesia!

10 days on a Bali 4.6 out of Raiatea

10 days on a Bali 4.6 out of Raiatea. Great trip. Loved it. Normally have gone with Moorings/Sunsail, but as of late their prices have gotten excessive so been trying out DYC. This was my second trip with them (first in La Paz) and already booked a trip for 2025 in Greece with DYC because of great experiences. I generally try and go on their Super Premier or Premier boats to reduce chance of age related issues. Specific to Raiatea, French Polynesia - awesome charter. Want to go back! Great folks.

Fabulous family vacation to Tahiti

We had a great family trip to Tahiti ( 6 adults 3 older children) , chartered a 6 cabin catamaran with Captain and Cook. Our Captain was amazing. She asked where we wanted to go, gave suggestions, and then we proceeded to have an amazing week. She took us to some amazing snorkeling spots (black tip sharks, sting rays, beautiful fish) , botanical garden, vanilla plantation, rum distillery and a pearl farm. She was always first and foremost concerned with our safety and comfort. Food was good and plentiful. Catamaran clean and comfortable. We have been on more elegant catamarans but all the above more than made up the difference. My only criticism for Dream Yacht Charter is that they post actual photos of their catamarans on their website. We would not hesitate to book with them in the future. BTW our Captain was Hemanu and Cook Daisy.

Unforgetable experience in Sardinia

Had an excellent experience since the booking process until the end of the charter. Everything worked well with the boat and skipper. The team was very professional and efficient. That was our first experience abroad and we intend to repeat.

The Dubrovnik base was a great location…

The Dubrovnik base was a great location to start our sailing experience. The DYC team got us out on time as promised and the yacht was as expected. Nothing was missing and the vessel was in great shape! Croatia is the most beautiful place to experience and the many islands we stopped in were a lot of fun and the anchorage’s and moorings were amazing [Hvar, Mljet, Lostovo, and Pelisaic]. We will come back and spend more time. Dan Long

We had two great experiences with DYC.

We chartered twice with DYC in Raiatea, French Polynesia. We had a great experience both times. We booked directly with DYC, and not through a third party. Both times they delivered. Also, their insurance policy is great. You can sail more or less wherever your want if you are competent. And they will encourage and help! Dream on in the US or EU! When I read all of the bitter posts, I roll my eyes and think that the usual CYA US attitude is going to destroy the whole industry and then nobody can sail in paradise. At least we still could.

Unsafe yacht

I chartered a 52 ft yacht in Antigua and it was unfit for purpose and potentially dangerous. There was an extensive list of faults which ruined our holiday, including a windlass that did not operate, an anchor that did not swivel, reefing lines jammed in the boom and hazardous swim ladder. The yacht also lacked basic appliances, had a hole in the kettle and missing fire extinguishers. This is an accident waiting to happen. I could go on… Dream yachts refused to even acknowledge my emails and sent no apologies. Avoid them at all cost.

DYC makes it really easy to charter

DYC makes it really easy to charter a bareboat sailing vacation. Having done a dozen trips with the competition in BVI, Bahamas, Greece, Italy, etc I feel more confident in Dream's ability to get you on a high quality boat on time and in good condition. When they missed the boat (pun intended) in one situation, they were also gracious about admitting fault and offering a credit to future trips. I especially want to call out Savannah Collins on the American sales team who was a joy to work with over the phone. Thanks for everything Savannah!

Unfortunately disappointing (Abacos)

Unfortunately our 3rd tour with DYC was disappointing. The captain was disinterested, rude and barely present. The Abacos are still worth seeing - with a different crew. Despite our feedback, Dream Yacht Charter didn't get in touch. Bad customer service for us. We sailed the last time. Well, we hardly sailed.

No Dream in Dream yacht Charter

This was my worst vacation. We bare boated and the boat broke down, for 5 days we were stuck in a marina, while the boat was repaired and DYC has refused to do anything. these additional costs, we didn't plan for, and we lost a huge part of our vacation. before you book with them, try getting a hold of the base in the Bahamas, or a supervisor or someone who deals with complaints or refunds. Aside from sales/customer service (booking) you wont get past the iron curtain!

First experience with DYW and first…

First experience with DYW and first time with DY Croatia. Preparation and briefing with the service team in US was so thorough that when I got to Dubrovnik ACI Marina everything run smoothly. No hidden costs, everything very transparent. We took a skipper who happened to be top notch, a local celebrity. Trip was excellent in all respects but we had little wind and we had to motor most of the time: next time I will make sure we reserve minimum guaranteed winds of 15 knots LOL

Cabin charter in Corsica South cancelled with no explanation

Booked and paid last May a cruise (cabin charter) in Corsica South for the w/c Aug 7 (2 cabins); two weeks before the start of the vacation (overall 2 weeks with trips to Paris and Bordeaux already booked), my cruise was cancelled for "overbooking". Despite several attempts to get an explanation, an excuse or a counteroffer, no one from both DYC Italy nor DYC.com replied so far (after a month). I'm very very disappointed for this, especially because I was a DYC client since years (5 cruises so far). While I want to thank Mondovela, the Italian DYC agency, for providing me with a backup solution in Sardinia, saving at least partially my summer holidays. P.N.

Hi Piero Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your issues booking with us. At the time your booking was made we were in the process of migrating our reservation system and your booking was received on our old system which resulted in an overbooking of the cruise. We were in touch with your broker and proposed alternative dates and destinations which unfortunately did not work. We are so pleased they found an alternative solution for you. We hope you will return to us so we can show you how our booking process has improved. Best wishes the Dream Yacht Charter team

Great charter with Dream Yacht in St John

Had a great bareboat charter sailing around St John out of St Thomas with Dream Yacht Charter in a brand new Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40. Thanks to Dawn Fingers and the rest of the team for helping to accommodate our last minute booking. Highlights were Zozo’s at Caneel Bay and Cruz Bay. We’ve booked bareboat charter with Dream Yacht a number of times in the past and have they seem to be the best outfit in terms of boat maintenance and professionalism.

Very bad experience chapter 2

After having the bad experience described in my post of 04/11/2022 (see below Title "Very bad experience") Dream Yacht Charter asked me filling the form bit.lydreamyacht I filled in the form on 20/11/2022 but I never got a reply... If no compensation is soon accepted, after discussion with a lawyer, I plan a legal action. The complaint will be located in France. I also propose sharing the practical information (submit of a complaint to the court, steps...) for French customers wishing running a legal complaint. Dodging any issues.

We lost one day of our charter due to our freshwater being pumped into the starboard engine bilge whose bilge pump was not working and consequently filled up with water , at one point we thought we were sinking ! We returned to base as we had no water and no way of keeping it in the tanks even if we could have refilled. In another incedent in a torrential downpour a fixed cabin window leaked and destroyed my laptop. The reply from DYC main office was less than helpful. The laptop destruction was our fault as we put it in the wrong place and the lost day was ignored. Be very carefull when dealing with the main office they seem only to want to dodge any issues which involve any sort of refund.

RUN away from DYC

Run, do not walk, away from these people. "Dream" Yacht Charter should be "Nightmare" Yacht Charter. We had the misfortune to give them a deposit for a charter in Tahiti before Covid hit. While other travel industry companies tried to be reasonable, DYC continually tried to squeeze us (like initially demanding full payment far in advance of our charter that never happened.) I understand Covid was hard for everyone, but the way these people jerked us around, changed the rules, made unreasonable demands, is just too much. Eventually my group decided we would rather lose our deposit rather than give these people another dollar of our money. You have been warned.

Dear Mike H, Thank you for your feedback. Hearing about your customer experience helps us understand where we need to improve. This year has been a challenge for many in the tourism industry. We adjusted our booking policy to try and make it as flexible as possible and we are sorry your booking was impacted. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team

What an AMAZING experience

What an AMAZING experience. We’ve just returned from a week long skippered charter from Corfu, sailing around the beautiful islands of the Ionian. Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu Old Town were beautiful and the secluded bays we had the pleasure of visiting thanks to our local skipper, Nicholas, were simply overwhelming. Fly and flops are no longer for us - we’ll be chartering with DYC for the foreseeable future. Shout out to our skipper who made the holiday as fantastic as it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Fantastic experience all round

Fantastic experience once again delivered by Dream Yacht Charters in the UK. Transparent pricing from the start and excellent value. Could not believe that the insurance indemnity was included in the price! Lorraine could not have worked harder to guide us on location and yachts to suit our needs. Any questions were dealt with quickly and professionally. The yacht we chartered met with our expectations and I have no doubt that had we experienced any difficulties at the base, Lorraine would have done her utmost to sort. Thank you for such a first class service. We will continue to charter from Dream Yacht Charters without reservation

Friendly, professional & efficient

Just returned from a 1 week charter out of Pomer Marina, Croatia. The Dream charter team were 1st class throughout, Davor the base manager was professional, courteous & extremely competent. The yacht was spotlessly clean & ready for departure well before time. I highly recommend Dream Yacht Charter & will certainly use them again in the future.

Love the staff and service

We most recently chartered our first Catamaran in Exumas Islands, Bahama and had a magnificent experience. That was our 4th charter with Dream Yacht Charter and are very happy with the overall service, boats and staff at the base. All the bases we have visited are very busy- but we always feel we get what we need and are attended to. Love that they have bases all around the world. Have 2 more bookings this year - La Paz tomorrow and Naples, Italy in July. Never think about looking for alternative companies

Sailboat Chartered in Tortola in Horrible Condition

The captain was great but the boat was in total disrepair. The generator never worked, the toilet either did not work or worked poorly, the furniture down below was taped together with yellow tape, the ladder was dangerous etc. For all the money we spent to rent this boat we should be treated better

Fantastic Charter - Great Trogir Base Manager and Staff

We chartered a 45ft catamaran. Boat was in excellent shape and we had no issues. Well equipped with chart book, extra propane and all other amenities. Base staff was super friendly and helpful and always asked us if everything was ok or if we needed anything when we passed them on dock. Base manager Tommi was super friendly and engaging, ensuring all of our needs were met and also took the time to suggest ports as well as booking slips for us. What a fabulous country and superb charter!

Baja is my favorite place now

Baja is my favorite place now. There was something for everyone: sailed under northerlies with mostly calm evenings, snorkeled, fished, bummed it on the sandy beaches, enchanted by pelicans feeding, greeted by the barking sea lions and explored the Ispiritu Santo island geology. DYC La Paz base provided competent professional support with a well provisioned and maintained boat. We were nourished well by an onboard cook arranged with DYC freeing us all for more play. A vacation and an adventure connected with nature.

We booked our Aug 2022 holidays in…

We booked our Aug 2022 holidays in Dubrovnik (Croatia) with Dream Charter via Boataround agency in Sept 2021. Initially booked catamaran FP44 Hellia. Easy communication with Boataround, 10% discount. I give Boataround 10/10. In June Dream Charter upgraded the catamaran to almost new FP47 Saona 'Beyond' for free. All went super. The boat was ready on time and by 18.00 we were heading to Korchula. The holidays were perfect. Questions about sensors operation (in Hvar city) on the yacht were answered by phone on time w/o any stress. Dream charter is offering easy communication, professional service 10/10. I would deal with them again.

Appreciation to the DYC team in Zaton/Sibenik, Croatia

Unfortunately, our charter (Lagoon 42 Grand Tour) is over, boat was quite stable and we had a great time! Let me express my appreciation to the DYC team here in Zaton/Sibenik, Croatia and the quality of this boat (knowing a lot of other DYC bases and boats woldwide, since I am yacht owner at DYC myself). The boat maintenance and customer care is really recognizable good, fast and reliable. Very convenient and it supports a lot our life on board. Everybody felt very well. MERCI BEAUCOUP for this!!

We had a blast on a 5-days trip around Raiatea, Taha’a & Bora Bora. Conditions were exceptional so was the crew. We had a beautiful and confortable catamaran for the 7 of us with plenty of space. The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable bringing us to beautiful snorkelling and cultural places around the different islands. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

Top experience!!

I am a seasoned skipper and have chartered with many companies in the past. A few months ago, I met Dream Yacht’s Head of Customer Experience, Edouard, at an event. His passion for customer centricty convinced me to give Dream Yacht a shot for my next trip that I was planning in La Paz. From my arrival at the base in La Paz, the Base manager, Ernesto, his staff, and the crew on board, made my trip memorable. I will definitely be booking again with Dream Yacht and will highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

Boat was in perfect order. There are plenty of anchorage In February. Water is blue. We explored ridge (North) part of the island. Quite pretty area. Base was very helpful with suggestions, docking and weather. Definitely want to go back and explore Southern side of the island.

Nightmare Yacht Charter

My husband and I, and several of our friends, recently returned from a trip with Dream Yacht Charter. (see full review at tripadvisor.com as this site limits length) Overall: service was terrible. Captain and crew were unprofessional, and abandoned the guests on the boat, which was unsafe. Captain would leave the boat unmanned for hours at a time, not returning until 3am.Captain and stew arguing in front of guests. Stew quit on us mid charter. Generator broke. We had no AC and limited clean water so we were told we could not shower. Food was not good. We spend our own money for provisions. Company will not make this right and refuses to offer us a reasonable compensation for a terrible experience. Stay far far away from this company. Kelsey D. Canton, OH, USA

An efficient and tightly run operation!

As a boat owner/partner with Dream Yacht of a Lagoon Catamaran in Croatia I was initially anxious as to how my boat would be maintained by the Marina Team. However to date I can say that the entire experience has been trouble free with all the staff making every effort to look after the boat and ensure that everything aboard is in good working order for their clients. Although a very busy base they run a very professional and tight ship with Marco the base manager personally getting involved to make sure things run smoothly. Full marks guys!

Excellent customer service

We reserved a by cabin charter out of Guadeloupe Oct 2021. No flights into Guadeloupe from Canada and we could not re-enter Canada from Guadeloupe either eu to Covid 19 protocols The very gracious Dream Yacht team allowed us to book in Oct 2022, they had our deposit for over a year as we had originally booked in Feb 2021. We had notified them of an issue Two months prior. The Oct 2022 cruise with the Guadeloupe crew was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Not so nice

Good: uncomplicated check-in in Greece and nice marina with restrooms and restaurant. Bad: our ship was in very bad condition and looked dirty inside and outside. It was not equipped like it was offered to us. The staff did not respect our complaint and did not provide any discount, saying we are the last crew using the ship at the end of the season. Do not buy the WiFi, it never worked and was never useful. Not a good experience

Best Trip Ever!

My group of 8 adults who have sailed together in the past had a wonderful experience chartering a catamaran in the USVIs from Dream Yacht charters. The cat was a Brand New Lagoon 42 and we were it's very first charter. We loved the boat! It was very comfortable and easy to sail/operate. We went to Culebra, St Thomas, St Johns, and Buck Island during our 7 day voyage. It was the most fun I've ever had on the water. The Dream Yacht team from booking and preparing for the trip to the port folks who oriented us with the boat and sailing areas were all fantastic. We will definitely charter with Dream Yachts again!!

THE BEST!!!

I’m currently in the Maldives and having the time of my life. Captain Jack and the crew are professional, safe and FUN! The boat is immaculate and the food is delicious. He even makes CAKE! The beds are surprisingly comfortable and we are all sleeping 9 hours a night. If you like island hopping, there is no other better option than Dream Yacht Charter. We will be booking Tahiti next year.

Hi Cynthia, Thank you for your review of the Maldives, we're glad you are having a wonderful time in this special part of the world. We look forward to welcoming you onboard in Tahiti in 2022! See you then, best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team

The Exumas 2023

My wife, along with my two kids have just returned from a 10 day charter in the Exuma’s. Based on all the feedback we were reading on the forums we were showing up to Nassau with low expectations. Our experience was totally awesome!! From the initial stages where we were booking the trip to our reception, along with the technical overview, everybody was completely professional. At one point we were out of propane, because there was a slow leak they actually delivered down into the Cays extra propane bottles. And if I was to rate our experience, it would be VIP all the way.

Dream yacht charter Dubrovnic…

Second charter to Aci Dubrovnic Croatia. From arriving early at the marina the team were fantastic. They were friendly and very efficient. The yacht handover was relaxed and the engineer was exceptionally helpful. With great information the team put you at ease and fill you with confidence that they are available should you need them. Thank you we will be back !

Dream Yacht Charter Raiatea Bora Bora

We had a fantastic holiday from Pozzuoli Italy

We had a fantastic holiday from the Pozzuoli Marina. Really easy introduction from the base staff and the engineers before and after we returned they are very friendly. We visited all the many Islands that are in easy reach of this Marina in our luxury Bali 5.4 Procida, Ischia,Ventotene,Ponza,Positano,Amalfi and Capri. We have been sailing with DYC for 5 years France, Palma, Martinque, Bahamas, Greece and Croatia and we look forward to our next 5 years. Thank you DYC
