Bella Roma is a 70′ luxury motor yacht rental in Destin, Florida, servicing all of Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Beach, and surrounding areas throughout the Florida panhandle. This Destin yacht charter is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, or just relaxing with friends. We currently have three standard booking options for a maximum of 13 passengers on each cruise. These are bareboat cruises where you can either provide your own US Coast Guard licensed captain or choose one from our list of approved captains.

Three Private Yacht Rental Options

4 Hour Cruise ($3200)

Our four hour charters are available in either morning or afternoon time slots. See dolphins and enjoy the sun near Crab Island and Destin Harbor.

6 Hour Cruise ($4200)

During this charter, you can see both the Destin area (Crab Island) as well as the more rural areas of the Intercoastal Waterway and Spectre Island.

8 Hour Cruise ($5200)

Our all day charter allows you to see the Destin area as well as the unspoiled areas of the Intercoastal Waterway and Spectre Island at a relaxed pace.

Choose the length of time you’re interested in and click on that option. Reserve your spot with a $1,000 deposit (plus taxes and fees) and we’ll charge your card for the remaining balance the week of your charter.

On the day of your charter, plan to arrive at the marina 15 minutes before your reservation so we can get everyone on board and depart on time. Bring any prepared food or adult beverages you’d like to enjoy. We’ll cruise around Destin Harbor, Choctawhatchee Bay, the Narrows (Intercoastal Waterway) and Crabb Island depending on what you’d like to see and do.

4 hours (afternoons only depending on scheduled bookings)  Comes with our largest and most powerful Tri-Toon pontoon boat.  Everything in the Upgrade cruise with the addition of inflatable floating dock/dance floor, multiple inflatable toys, twin large sized Bluetooth speakers, discounts at Crab Island vendor boats.   A drone may be used to photograph and video your time at crab island.  (when weather permits) Extensions ARE available on this cruise.  ONE tank of fuel for each vessel. Remember FIVE hours. Price for Whole Nine Yards without any additional watercraft is $800.

Specialty Cruises

For younger children.  Treasure hunt cruise.  Instead of heading directly to Crab Island, you choose from three different treasure hunt excursions located on three different islands.  Guaranteed to find treasure no matter which map you select.  We head to the semi private island you select and follow a treasure map and try to locate the buried pirates treasure chest.  Keep all the treasure discovered.  There is a BIG TREASURE among the treasure maps where each week if not discovered, another $25.00 is added until it reaches $250.00. If the lucky map is chosen, among the other treasure inside the chest will be a certificate for whatever amount of cash the BIG TREASURE is up to. Time permitting, we can head to crab island after that, however everything you can do at Crab Island, you can do at any of the semi private islands.  A perfect place to visit if you don’t like the party style atmosphere ($800).

One Fathom Under is a 55-foot Sea Ray Sundancer yacht that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 passengers plus crew. The lower deck is temperature controlled and features a main salon with bar seating, 2 bathrooms, 2 private staterooms, and a full galley equipped with a refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, stove top, air fryer, and ice maker. For your convenience, we provide a large deck cooler stocked with ice and water.

The main salon of One Fathom Under offers comfortable seating, 5G Wi-Fi, and a 37-inch HDTV Smart TV with streaming capabilities. The shaded upper deck features newly upholstered seating and a high-quality sound system perfect for streaming your favorite playlists. If you prefer the sun or a breathtaking scenic view, try out the bow of the boat. Enjoy dipping your feet from the swim deck off the stern of the boat into the crystal clear waters of Destin, Florida. Our hydraulic swim platform lowers and raises into the water for easier access into the water.

These are our most requested boats on the Destin harbor due to the extended passenger capacity. These boats can be described similarly to the Premium Level vessel with one difference: they hold licensing which allows for more passengers on board at one time. Our 48-foot vessels feature an enclosed cabin, bathroom, and A/C and can accommodate more than six passengers.

Although these vessels are set up for fishing, they can accommodate special trips such as sunset cruises, weddings, birthdays, leisure trips, etc. Tell us what your special event is, and we can make it happen.

The amount of people each vessel can carry varies from boat to boat, so it is imperative that you know your maximum amount of passengers that may be on the vessel before booking, as it will be near impossible in the summer season to switch to another vessel should your party grow beyond your original specified capacity.

Some boats are licensed to carry 10, some 15, some 17, and that includes babies (a person is a person no matter the age or size). If your party is going to exceed 15 passengers, call for options, as we have a few boats in the fleet that can accommodate you with very limited availability.

Pricing for these vessels includes a base rate for six passengers and then an added charge of 10% of the base rate for each additional passenger.

I went fishing on the Swoop II yesterday and had a wonderful experience and great day fishing on the Gulf of Mexico! The captain, Devin, and all star crew, Jeff, Oz, and Max, work great as a team and sincerely want to help customers catch fish and have fun! They are constantly unhooking fish, giving fishing tips, untangling lines, re-rigging poles, and when they have time, they hook fish and hand them off to customers to reel in. Today, I saw Jeff hook and hand off five Red Snappers, helping these anglers reach their two snapper limit! These guys want everyone to catch fish and have fun! Unfortunately, I messed up and accidentally buried a hook past the barb into my right index finger! Ouch!! Jeff and Max quickly took me in the cabin and offered to remove it for me... They put a string between the hook and my finger, I looked away, Max counted to three and snatched it out. I was amazed how they painlessly removed it! I cleaned the puncture, taped it, and returned to fishing! Now that's customer service!! I caught my two red snapper and also several vermillion snapper! It was a full boat, and everyone caught fish today. I highly recommend the Swoop II for families and seasoned anglers! If you visit Destin, you should really experience deep sea fishing on the Swoop II!

A friend and I decided to take a fishing trip to Destin. Our first option did not work out as the storms put a halt to our plans. We decided to go ahead and stay an extra few days on our trip and I am forever glad we did this. As we were looking around we found Swoop II and it was greater than we had even anticipated. Not only did we catch a lot of fish and have a great time, the crew was fabulous as well. Thank you, Oz, Jeff , Mickey Jake, Max, and Devin for showing us the ropes and allowing us to come home with 45 pounds of fillets. We liked it so much, we went out five straight days and it got better every day. We could’ve came home with much more fish, however, we were able to share with a lot of other people that may have only gotten to go one day. There was not a day that people did not go home with fish. Great time guys and can’t wait to get back!

Me and my wife took the trip last minute. The captain and crew were outstanding they worked very hard for everyone and the captain put us on fish. I would highly recommend if you want to catch fish and the crew works hard for you.

The trip was great! Loved every second of it. Crew was amazing!

Me and my friends all had a blast on the fishing trip! All of us caught something (Vermillion & Mingo snappers.) One person caught a small grouper. We took the 6hr trip on a Saturday. 2hrs out to sea, 2hrs to fish & 2hrs back to the docks. After you get back they will fillet your catches for 0.50¢/lb! If you want to keep them whole, they will let you do that also (just ask before hand.) The crew was awesome! Very funny, cracking jokes the whole time and they are very quick at what they do to keep you fishing as much as possible. They even announce how many reels up from the bottom you need to be! All-in-all it is was a great first deep sea fishing trip for me!

The best fishing experience in Destin. Great captain and great deck crew. They work to get you catching fish, whether you're an old hand or a first-timer. Very kid-friendly. If you are new or just want to try out "deep sea fishing," this is the place to start. Prices are reasonable and Swoop provides all the equipment and bait you need. Just bring snacks, drinks, and make sure you bring something to haul your fish home in; if you listen to the instructions of the mates, you'll need it.

Had a Great Trip on Swoop II. Weather was cool but clear and winds as calm as the seas. Captain moved three times to keep us on fish and the mates stayed busy dehooking our Mingos. Many thanks, great job.

A great crew! They made sure everyone caught fish.

I've been on half a dozen fishing party boats and this one was definitely towards the top. The deck hands were so nice to my 10-year old daughter. They spent extra time with her, explaining how to use the rod and giving tips - increasing her chances of landing a big one. It was an hour and a half out, and an hour and a half in - so we had three hours to fish. That's standard on a six hour deep fishing trip. When we got back, the guys filleted the fish for us. Their prices are competitive and fair. Make sure to bring cash to tip ($20-35 per person, at least) and then to have them filet your fish (.50 cents / pound) afterward. When boarding the ship, if it's an extreme weather day, try to be one of the first ones in to grab a seat inside the lower level cabin - you'll have a much more comfortable early morning ride out if you're able to do that. I'll definitely look to use them again in the future.

This is our fourth trip on this boat, and once again we had a great time! Devin was our captain, and Oz and Jeff helped us out. Oz made sure to give my daughter extra help to ensure she brought in fish which made her trip truly special. Thanks for an awesome day!

Totally exceeded expectations - this is not like going out with dad back in the day and catching nothing. This crew had it dialed in thanks to quality electronics. Hit the bottom, 10-15 reels up and fish on. Special thanks to mate Oz who overheard me teasing my boy how I was going to catch more fish than him so he brought out his personal rod, good hooks, and fresh cut bait so that he could catch 4 giant red snapper and keeper trigger fish. He is an exceptional human being that truly cares about his customers’ experiences. Well done Swoop II captain and crew - we will be back.

The Bach Boat is a 26′ custom-built vessel purposefully designed for your bachelorette party! With 12 stools wrapping around a bar and a leather aft lounge, The Bach Boat can comfortably carry up to 18 of your closest besties. We had the girlies in mind when we built The Bach Boat, so we made sure to hide a private, enclosed bathroom in the helm for your parties’ convenience. With other amenities—such as a bluetooth sound system, USB charging ports, coolers with ice, complimentary bottled waters, and bachelorette floaties and decor—our boat is fully equipped to make sure you have the most fun, safe, and comfortable Crab Island experience!

With The Bach Boat,  you and your bride tribe will have the ultimate Crab Island experience. From operating the boat to refilling your drinks, our crew takes care of your every need the moment you step on the boat. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak in the good times with your closest friends.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes! Our boats are outfitted with a private, enclosed bathroom for your comfort and convenience.

We have a Fair Weather Policy meaning we only go if we think the weather will be good.

The Captain will make a 'go or no-go' decision 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.

If we make a no-go decision, we will first attempt to reschedule your trip. If we are unable to reschedule, we refund your payment in full.

Note: We do not cancel in advance because of a poor forecast. Destin has a unique ecosystem referred to as the Destin Dome where forecasts are often erroneous, so we decide the day of the trip.

So long as you cancel 14 days in advance, you will receive a full refund.

Our apologies, but we do not allow smoking on our vessels.

Because our trips are private, you get to decide what we do and where we go! Here are some things to consider:

• Crab Island
• Dolphin spotting
• Cruise around the Gulf, Bay, or Harbor (conditions permitting)
• Norriego Point

Either in the morning or anytime within 2 hours of high tide —which brings in super clear and clean waters from the Gulf of Mexico.

Crew fees (and any greatly appreciated gratuity) will be paid directly to the Captain after the trip. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, etc.

Our tiki boats are located on the Destin harbor at Heron Harbor Marina (314 Harbor Blvd, Destin FL 32541) which is very close to Crab Island.

To find us when you arrive at the marina, walk down to the dock (past the dock huts) and we will be located in the first slip on the left.

Yes, there is ample parking at Heron Harbor Marina, but please be aware that the marina charges a parking fee. We highly recommend Ubering or arranging private transportation so that you can relax and not worry about driving after the trip. 

We have many complimentary amenities provided on the boat, but here are a few items we recommend bringing:

• Food and drinks (B.Y.O.B.)

Yes! Bring all the food and drinks (including alcohol) you would like. We provide coolers with ice for you to use, as well as complimentary water.

Yes! Bring as much as you'll need for the duration of the trip because there are no alcohol sales at Crab Island.

*You may bring glass—such as champagne—aboard

**We do ask that you avoid bringing anything that contains red dye—such as red wine or red fruit juices—as they can stain the deck.

Yes! We provide complimentary coolers with ice for your use, but you may bring additional coolers if desired.

We had an absolute blast with Captain Al and Ryan! They were attentive, timely, and FUN! It was seamless. They included some floats and we brought some too which they happily accommodated. There were 10 of us and the tiki was a perfect atmosphere and included some shade! Special shout out to Ryan for filling our drinks too when we were in the water. BOOK THEM!!

I’ve been on Crab Island for years and this is this best trip I’ve ever had here! Captain Al and Captain Kristen are amazing! They made sure our bride had the best time and the rest of our group. Olin Marler’s Charter Fishing Service has the largest fishing fleet on the Emerald Coast! We are pleased to have the opportunity to introduce our fleet and invite you aboard to fish the beautiful, unspoiled waters of the Gulf of Mexico. How far does the boat typically go out?

The boat will go out anywhere from 10-30 miles depending on the length of your trip.  If you do not want to go out far, we recommend booking shorter trips.

What is included with the trip?

Bait, tackle, fishing license and fish fillet. The crew works for tips and it’s customary to tip 15-20%.

What type of fish do you typically catch?

It varies depending on the season. The captain will try to find fish that are in season so the customers may keep them. Some of the popular species include grouper, red snapper, vermillion snapper, black snapper, white snapper, scamp, trigger fish, mackeral, amberjack and even shark!

I’m new to deep sea fishing, what type of trip do you recommend?

For those experiencing Destin fishing charters for the first time, we offer small group or party boat charters that are inexpensive trips geared towards giving people a first time fishing experience.

What is the difference between a Party/Group Charter and a Private Charter?

A private charter only has your group members on the boat, but a Party/Group Charter (AKA Head Boat) has other families on board as well.

What time do the morning trips typically start?

The morning fishing trips typically go out between 6am and 8am. Please confirm your trip times prior to departure.

Does the boat have restrooms?

Yes, the boat has mens and womens restrooms.

Do we get our own fishing pole? Do we get lessons on how to use it?

Yes, the crew is there to help with the fishing pole.

Is this charter suitable for pregnant women and small children?

Due to the potential for high seas, it is recommended that small children and pregnant women do not participate unless they are familiar with the vessel and the experience.

Can we keep the fish? Are they safe to eat?

Customers may keep any fish that are in season and of legal size. The mates will fillet the fish for tips and bag it for the customers. Gulf fish is safe to eat according to the FDA.

What should we bring on the trip?

It is recommended to bring a small 6 pack cooler with food, drinks and ice. Other items to bring include suntan lotion, rags, camera, motion sickness medicine and a hat. Customers are asked to dress appropriately since it can be very hot during peak summer season.

What type of bait do you use?

The bait will vary, but mostly squid or cigar minnow.

Can we bring our own tackle and pole?

Yes, you may bring your own tackle if you wish.

When is the best time to go fishing?

It’s always a good time to go fishing, but the season will determine what fish we can go after. Please visit Florida FWC for info on what is in season.

Can we bring alcohol on the boat?

Yes, but no glass or hard liquor.

What happens if there is bad weather?

The captain will be the only one to cancel the trip. Customers cannot cancel just because they see a few grey skies. If we are forced to come in early after a trip departs, we will offer a prorated credit for a future trip. Please discuss with captain as this will vary on a case by case basis.

Is the boat handicap accessible?

The boat is not handicap accessible, but the crew and captain will do their best to make arrangements in order to get the customers on and off the boat. Please call us for more details.

These are our family trips geared towards anglers without a lot of experience. This trip is great for kids and first-timers. We refer to them as our family fun trips. Since these trips mostly leave in the afternoon, they are a great addition to your Destin experience that will teach your family the fundamentals of deep sea fishing plus a great chance of bringing home your catch for a fresh seafood dinner as well as giving you the knowledge of whether or not your family will enjoy a longer trip deep sea excursion.

All of our trips are family oriented and a great way to experience the Gulf of Mexico and deep sea fishing. You have additional opportunities to catch more and bigger fish with the longer trips, but some people aren’t cut out for a full day on the water.

Boats make some people very sleepy, and it makes a few people seasick from the motion of the boat on the water. We recommend talking to your doctor about a motion sickness cure that they would recommend. We further recommend talking to your doctor about having you take it the night before and then again the morning of the trip so that it’s in your system so that your full day will be a delightful experience (and those around you). There are several over-the-counter remedies available that a local pharmacist can also recommend. Buy sunscreen and after-sun lotions while you are there.

We are very proud of our magnificent boats!

The DESTINY is a 72-foot G&S Sport Fisher with a passenger capacity of 56. The DESTIN PRINCESS is a 65-foot catamaran that can carry 42 passengers. Both boats are very clean and super fast, with awnings and bench seating all around the outside, and very comfortable picnic-style tables and benches inside. They are both heated and air conditioned, providing you with a comfortable ride.

All bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included with your trip. Passengers should bring any food and drinks they want for the day. We ask that no glass containers be brought on board.  A fish cleaning service is provided after your trip for an additional 50 cents per pound. Also, please remember our mates work very hard for tips.  The customary amount is 15-20% of your fare.

We also recommend that you bring items for your comfort, such as sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and a hand towel.

You are welcome to pay with cash if making your reservation in person; there is no difference in the price. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to sign in and get your boarding pass.

If you find you cannot make your trip, you MUST notify us 24 hours in advance to cancel your reservation to avoid being charged.

Individual fares on open boat trips are paid in full in advance of the trip.  These fares are refundable 24-hours prior to the trip or if the captain cancels the trip due to inclement weather or mechanical failure.   If you miss the boat for any reason, your fares will not be refunded.  Again, if you miss the boat for any reason, FOR ANY REASON, your fares will NOT be refunded.

For private charters (when your party books the entire boat only for themselves), a $1,000 deposit per day is required to confirm and hold your reservation. You may also pay for private charters in full.  Either way, the $1,000 deposit is only refundable or carried forward if the Captain cancels the trip due to inclement weather or mechanical difficulty.  There is no 24-hour cancellation policy on private charters.  Otherwise, charter deposits are non-refundable for any reason and will not be applied towards future trips. Customers do not dictate weather calls.  If trips are paid in full, any amount over $1,000 will be carried forward to a future trip or refunded if the trip is cancelled.

Drugs on Board Will Not be Tolerated.

Neither the Coast Guard nor the Florida Marine Patrol has a sense of humor or any flexibility regarding this rule, and neither do we.

CREDIT CARD CHARGES

If you pay by credit card, the only conditions under which your credit card will be refunded is if the boat returns to the dock due to inclement weather or mechanical difficulty, at the sole discretion of the captain of the boat. Payments are non-refundable for any other reason and will not be applied towards future trips.
