We are a social-oriented club promoting boating safety for all ages. BHYC Racing begins in June and culminates with the Earle W. Forshner Memorial Regatta held on Labour Day weekend. Prior to 1997, the six founding boats of BHYC were on moorings in the cove about 200 yards west of where the Marina is now located. On July 6th, 1997 Dana and Mary Hunter opened Barrachois Marina. Location & routingNice small place. Beautiful little place very sheltered but absolutely nothing to do and if you're like us that's what we like . It has gas,lite power supply, run fridge microwave and lights, washroom with shower ,1.25 per foot , enjoyed our stay . Fuel dock here! Scenery, scenery scenery. Oh... and usually very tranquil.
