KAUAI PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER Privately charter a Na Pali Coast tour boat and one of our US Coast Guard certified Captains will take you on an ocean adventure you will not forget. They all have a sincere love of the ocean and enjoy showing off the massive peaks, towering waterfalls and stunning empty beaches of Na Pali. During tour you will boat along miles of these second highest sea cliffs in the world. If conditions permit you will enter into gigantic sea caves and pass under waterfalls spilling over the cliffs edge. Then the Captain will stop at a secluded reef where you can swim/snorkel with the Honu (green sea turtles) and tropical fish. Dolphin encounters are frequent.

Holoholo - 65ft Power Catamaran

If you’re looking for a spacious vessel, Holoholo has got you covered! This 65-foot long and 24-foot wide, agile power catamaran was built with safety and comfort in mind. Holoholo has a cruising speed of 20-23 knots, but the fastest speed is 27 knots.

Holoholo was designed to eliminate side-to-side rolling motion by slicing though the water, resulting in a smooth ride. Twin diesel engines provide the power to get you to the beautiful sights of the Napali Coast and Niihau faster than any other vessel.

While Coast Guard certified for up to 65 passengers, we don’t exceed 49, which means more room to sightsee, snorkel, relax and enjoy your time on the water. Ample seating is available throughout the vessel, the bow provides an exciting and wet ride at times, while the stern has comfortable bench seating with unrestricted views of the coastline.

The cabin area features a bar and seating at two large tables, plus additional bench seating to keep you out of the elements, as well as space to store your belongings. Two heads (restrooms) are located on deck for your convenience (no need to climb or descend a ladder to use the facilities).

When it’s time to snorkel, you’ll find a swim step at the stern for ease of entry, and a ladder below the surface for quick and easy re-boarding. After snorkeling rinse off with a freshwater shower.

An amazing outing for our family of 11. Napali coast gorgeous and our guide was quite informative! The catamaran was able to get so close to the shoreline and we saw caves and waterfalls. MAKAI SPORTFISHING BEGINNING TO NOW

Makai Sportfishing is a locally owned and operated company, with a passion for the water and Deep Sea Fishing. Getting our start was a dream for Robert and Sean. Robert grew up fishing as a young kid with his father and friends and Sean grew up scuba diving with his family and spending time on the ocean. After becoming friends in 2010 Robert and his father took Sean fishing on their personal boat, and he was hooked (All pun intended!). Navigating fishing charters for other companies, we soon realized we knew what we wanted operate our own boat. With Robert wanting to fulfill his Dad’s dream of running a charter boat, Finally in 2017, we were able to make that dream a reality when we bought and stated our dry dock process on Piikea. After two and half years of rebuilding, customizing and outfitting her to handle these exciting Kauai waters, Piikea was finally in the water early 2019 ready to take our first guests out on the deep sea fishing adventure of a lifetime.
