“The Riva 110 project is a promise of style, design and performance to reach levels never seen before,” Riva says. “Through the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli together with Sergio Beretta, the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, and the Engineering Department, Riva 110 promises to be a magnificent and beautiful flybridge yacht, as well as larger than ever before.”

When Riva introduced its former flagship model the 110 Dolcevita, the builder expanded on the exterior design and flowing lines of the 100-foot Corsaro. Allied Marine currently has Tasty Waves , a 2020 Riva 110 Dolcevita, listed for $10.95 million. 

“[ Tasty Waves is] a masterpiece of luxury performance, meticulously crafted for the discerning yachtsman,” Allied Marine says. “This stunning vessel has been kept inside an enclosed building full-time.” 

The flybridge has an open-air after section that has a lounge area set up with an L-shaped settee and two lounge chairs. Forward, under the hardtop, a U-shaped dinette sits to starboard across from a two-stool bar. A companion bench seat forward to port is adjacent to the two-seat upper helm station. 

On the foredeck if one sunpad is not enough there’s a second abaft the first. Aft of the second sun pad is a U-shaped settee in case you’re looking to enjoy cocktails at sunset. 

The cockpit is mostly shaded by the flybridge overhang and has room for up to eight people to enjoy alfresco dining at the U-shaped transom settee and fixed dining table. 

Tasty Waves has a conventional salon, which has the lounge area aft and the formal dining space amidships. The main deck interior is bathed in natural light thanks to nearly sole-to-ceiling windows lining the room. Lounge seating includes a double length L-shaped sofa to port. 

Sleeping accommodations include the main deck master stateroom and four additional staterooms belowdecks. The on deck master has a centerline berth and an en suite head. Amidships, the four en suite staterooms belowdecks split the centerline with two cabins forward and two aft. The three-cabin crew quarters is forward, in the bow. 

Twin 2,638 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels give this 110-footer a 26-knot top hop and a 23-knot cruise speed. It’s worth noting that the engine warranty was recently extended 36 months, or up to 4,500 hours.

About Broward Yachts

Broward Yachts has a 60-year history in the marine industry in the United States with years of yacht and ship-building, as well as, refit and repair service.  The company has been known by several names over the decades, including Dooley's Basin and Dry Dock, Broward Marine, Broward Yachts, and most recently, Broward Superyachts and Broward Shipyard.

Originally located at Dooley's Basin and Dry Dock Company on the New River in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the company first worked as a military defense contractor for the United States and its allies as a builder of military vessels beginning in 1937. The military construction department closed after the World War II era and that property is home to Lauderdale Marine Center.

Another Broward yard was built on the Kalamazoo River in Michigan in 1977, known as the Saugatuck yard, The property allowed vessel access to Lake Michigan.

New owners took over the yard, then known as Broward Yachts, around 2000. At that time, all work was consolidated, including work at the Saugatuck yard, and services moved to Dania Beach, Florida. This location allows vessels clear navigation access from Port Everglades just south of Fort Lauderdale in Broward County. Most recently the company goes by the name Broward Shipyard and Broward Superyachts.

New vessel construction and yacht refit projects at the yard range from 50 feet (15 meters) to 165 feet (50 meters) in steel and aluminum construction. Broward Yachts specializes in design work, naval architecture, engineering, construction, and commissioning of yachts ranging from 60 feet (18 meters) to 165 feet (50 meters) in length. Recently, Broward worked with nearby canal neighbors at Powell Brothers Barge Terminal and Playboy Marine Center to allow for dock and yard space for refits and repairs for yachts up to 330 feet (100 meters) in length. Dry dockage storage is available for vessels up to 150 tons and those with deeper drafts with more than 15 feet of water depth.

Each Broward Yacht is unique in its design and through the years the company slogan has been “Demand the Finest”.

Broward Marine is a custom yacht builder renowned for their beautiful and efficient hulls and respected for their seaworthiness. Frank Denison, known to some as the founder of Broward Marine, and others as “Mr. D”, is credited with installing the first diesel engines in a yacht in the mid 1930s. “Mr. D” started his yachting career by buying boats on spec and repairing them for resale. In 1999 Broward Marine was sold to Glenn Straub and later to Tom Lewis, and renamed Broward Yachts.

Broward Marine is still operational in Dania, Florida and continues to build in aluminum and hire local Floridian tradesmen to build and service megayachts in South Florida.

Broward Marine is a custom yacht builder that developed hull designs that became known and respected for being sea kindly and seaworthy, as well as efficient and beautiful. No two Broward yachts were the same, and with the slogan “Demand the Finest,” that reputation for quality has endured for over 60 years. With a reputation for quality and value, Broward Marine has launched over 300 yachts.

Frank Denison founded Broward Marine in 1948, when he purchased a Fort Lauderdale shipyard, then known as Dooley’s Dry Dock, while on his honeymoon with his wife, Gertrude. Frank & Gertrude later made many yachting innovations, including the installation of the first diesel engines in a yacht and the “Country Kitchen.”

Throughout the Korean War and World War II, Broward Marine constructed military vessels for the Dutch and U.S. Navy. It later began building custom yachts ranging between 60 and 165 feet and became the largest private employer in Broward County, Florida. Time Magazine acknowledged the 95’ Broward Alisa V as the largest private motor yacht built in the United States for 30 years. With a reputation for quality and value, Broward Marine, a family business, launched over 300 yachts.

In its 60-year history, Broward Marine developed a reputation for building custom yachts that appealed to the most discerning yachtsmen. The Broward teams designed and built yachts that were respected for their efficient hulls and seaworthiness. In 1999, ownership changed hands and the company was renamed to Broward Yachts. Broward’s reputation for quality endures today. Broward Marine was established by Frank Denison, in 1948, on the site of the former Dooley's Basin & Dry Dock Company, which had been organized in 1937 for the war effort and which had closed after the war. The yard was located where Lauderdale Marine Center is now, on the New River, just east of I-95: see it from the air on Google here. The Saugatuck yard was started in 1977, on the north bank of the Kalamazoo River, close to its outlet into Lake Michigan.(That huge house on the beach just west of the Saugatuck yard was built by Denison for his own use.) Ownership of the company changed hands in about 2000 and the new owners, called Broward Yachts, closed both yards and moved construction to a yard in Dania Beach, just south of Port Everglades, in Broward County. The new company failed in the Bush recession of 2009 but the yard is still going as a refit/repair facility, now under the name Broward Shipyard.

IL CAPO’s interior layout sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 staterooms, including a king master suite, 1 queen stateroom, a twin stateroom and a large, private VIP queen stateroom forward of the family country kitchen. She also carries 5 crew comfortably onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yachting experience.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht IL CAPO is a 110 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. The highlights of IL CAPO are her well-chosen interiors and experienced crew. IL CAPO spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was delivered by the ship builder Broward in 2004. A well-done refit was fulfilled in 2016/17. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 8 guests.

Captain - Marco Delgado Education/Certifications: Civil Engineer Degree, General Contractor License, USCG Master 500 GT Languages: English, Spanish Nationality: Cuban Marco was born in Hava, Cuba, and started his maritime career 20 years ago when he bought his first boat. Since then he has worked with enthusiasm and tenacity growing his experience by combining his General Contractor skills and his passion for the sea, achieving the perfect balance to solve any problems that may arise while sailing. In 2015 Marco founded his own charter company, Supreme Yacht Cruiser, and he has since had the pleasure of serving the maritime community doing charters and deliveries in the international waters of the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Cuba, South Florida, and Midwest up north, Newport. Marco wants all guests who step on board IL CAPO to have an unmatched creative experience on the water. He loves working with families, putting together a fun-filled itinerary for all ages. When Marco is not busy executing an unforgettable charter experience, you can still find him around boats, doing what he does best. Chef - Dana Dunne Education/Certifications: International Culinary School – Art Institute of Philadelphia, PADI SSI Certified Languages: English Nationality: American Dana grew up in New York and Pennsylvania before moving to the suburbs of Los Angeles. For three years she ran a small consignment store that was given to her by her mother before she started catering full-time. During COVID, Dana moved down to Florida and took a position as a front desk operator at the Palm Harbor Marina. It was here where she became friends with a stewardess who showed her how to peruse yachting. Dana entered the yachting industry in 2020. Her passion is food and she enjoys putting this on display through creative dishes and flavors. She carefully prepares every menu based on specific guest requests and allergies, emphasizing efficient service. Creating everlasting memories while enjoying amazing food is what Dana wants every guest to experience when they step aboard IL CAPO. Paella, ratatouille, short ribs, and stuffed lobster are some of her favorite dishes among guests. Outside of yachting, Dana is an artist, with paintings in a local art gallery, and also enjoys playing the piano. Lanelle Johnson - Stewardess Education/Certifications: STCW, ENG1 Languages: English Nationality: Bahamian Lanelle is a dedicated stewardess who loves meeting new people and being in new environments. She is reliable, meticulous, and known for being a team player. Lanelle greets every guest with a smile and is dedicated to providing 5-star service from the moment they step on board. She is detailed, creative, and radiates a positive attitude. Since entering the yachting industry, Lanelle has spent time on both motor and sailing yachts, taking care of the vessel's interior. In her spare time, you can find Lanelle traveling, cooking, baking, and online shopping. She can't wait to welcome guests aboard IL CAPO for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Elijah Abramowitz - Mate Education/Certifications: Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Personal Survival Techniques, First Aid and CPR, Basic Firefighting, Approved Engine Course 1, Approved Engine Course 2, Power Boat License Level 2, Padi Open water Diver, Padi Enriched Air Diver Languages: English Nationality: American Elijah grew up in the small town of Smiths Station Alabama, a rural place where he spent his childhood riding dirt bikes, playing sports, and raising animals. He started yachting a couple of years ago after a customer of his auto mechanic shop who used to be an engineer on a 115’ sportfish, told him about his experience. Elijah was instantly hooked so after a few short months after that conversation, he sold everything and moved to South Florida to start school. Elijah considers his greatest asset to be his great attitude and willingness to offer a helping hand to any department. He is dedicated to providing an unforgettable charter experience so guests return to their normal lives refreshed with great stories to tell for many years to come. In the future, Elijah hopes to become captain of a 200’ + vessel. Outside of yachting, he would like to get his pilot's license. In his spare time, he enjoys all things on or in the water such as paddleboarding, diving, snorkeling, and water sports. Elijah is passionate about learning and finds himself searching for information until he feels he has a deep understanding of the subject.

Glass tiles and mother of pearl line the walls while white tile floors. The wood and stainless steal cabinetry offer a modern and sophisticated look. Pops of colorful throw pillows add cool, calming accents decorate the main salon which boasts white couches and grey and black accent chairs. The yacht dazzles with new name boards with multi-colored LED lights.<br /> <br /> With a brand new interior, IL CAPO is easily one of the youngest Browards available at present.<br /> <br /> Enter the main salon from the aft deck through sliding glass doors. Enter the full-beam salon has light wood paneling, entertainment system and large windows for lots of natural light. For al fresco dining, the covered aft deck offers a table with seating for eight (8). Port and starboard stairways lead down to the swim platform. The transom allows access to the crew's quarters, which have accommodations for 4-5 including a private captain's cabin and crew mess area.<br /> <br /> Access to the staterooms is forward to port and there is an on-deck day head to starboard. The "country kitchen" style galley is forward and has an informal dining settee to port and companionway leading to the VIP stateroom to starboard. The raised pilothouse can be accessed from both port and starboard. The master stateroom is full-beam amidship with centerline King-size bed and His & Her Baths featuring a custom "walk-by" shower. There are 2 guest staterooms both with ensuite head and shower. The port guest stateroom has a queen size bed and the starboard stateroom has two twin beds. The VIP stateroom is very private with separate entry forward of the galley. It has a centerline queen-size bed and ensuite bath with shower. All staterooms have entertainment centers, ample storage and cedar-lined closets.<br /> <br /> The flybridge can be accessed both from the aft deck or through the pilothouse. This is an especially comfortable area is equipped with hard top and banquette seating surrounding a table for ten (10). On the aft deck is a nice lounge area with all new deck furniture. There is a professional-grade stainless steel grill with rotisserie, wet bar, Jacuzzi and sun pad area. Forward is a fully equipped helm & wing stations.

The transom allows access to the crew's quarters, which have accommodations for 4-5 including a private captain's cabin and crew mess area.<br /> <br /> Access to the staterooms is forward to port and there is an on-deck day head to starboard. The "country kitchen" style galley is forward and has an informal dining settee to port and companionway leading to the VIP stateroom to starboard. The raised pilothouse can be accessed from both port and starboard. The master stateroom is full-beam amidship with centerline King-size bed and His & Her Baths featuring a custom "walk-by" shower. There are 2 guest staterooms both with ensuite head and shower. The port guest stateroom has a queen size bed and the starboard stateroom has two twin beds. The VIP stateroom is very private with separate entry forward of the galley. It has a centerline queen-size bed and ensuite bath with shower. All staterooms have entertainment centers, ample storage and cedar-lined closets.<br /> <br /> The flybridge can be accessed both from the aft deck or through the pilothouse. This is an especially comfortable area is equipped with hard top and banquette seating surrounding a table for ten (10). On the aft deck is a nice lounge area with all new deck furniture. It was here where she became friends with a stewardess who showed her how to peruse yachting. <br /> <br /> Dana entered the yachting industry in 2020. Her passion is food and she enjoys putting this on display through creative dishes and flavors. Elijah was instantly hooked so after a few short months after that conversation, he sold everything and moved to South Florida to start school. <br /> <br /> Elijah considers his greatest asset to be his great attitude and willingness to offer a helping hand to any department. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
