LEE is an exquisite new yacht launched by the Italian shipyard Baglietto in La Spezia as the fourth unit in its popular 40-metre DOM 133 series. Being one of the Baglietto’s most successful series to date, LEE represents a masterpiece of naval engineering and design that will redefine your yachting experience. With a length of 40.90 meters and a sleek profile, this vessel embodies elegance and power, offering the ultimate in luxury and comfort. The yacht boasts a shallow draught (2.10 m - 7 ft.) for an easy navigation in shallow waters and offers a comfortable long-range cruising experience.

LEE ECOLOGIC WISE

M/Y LEE is responding positively to all most strictly MARPOL (MARITIME POLLUTION) regulation, with all the system plant concerning pollutionwith latest advanced technology. For the main engines equipment filters that capture the particulars matters, a system that inject the urea in the exhaust to reduce the Nox emission and a riser that wash with the sea water the exhaust reducing the Sox emission. Concerning the sewage discharge, a system that treats with a chemical reaction and UV disinfection the fluid reducing the impact of the discharge black water in the sea. For the ballast operation a system that with a mechanical filtration and UV disinfection treat the ballast sea water sterilize the sea water that allow the protection of the marine environment. For the bilge water, an oily water separator, that by a mechanical filtration and the principle of coalescence, divides the clean water from the oil, and allows to discharge overboard only the water that have less than 15 parts per million of oil.

WELCOME ON BOARD

The exterior designed by Stefano Vafiadis is noteworthy for its aft deck pool, with a split-level design that creates a comfortable social area at the stern of the boat. The pool is equipped with a movable floor system that enables the pool to be completely closed, maximizing the use of the aft deck when the pool is not in use. Crowning the yacht is a sundeck with a "convertible" sliding perforated sunroof which offers a good mix of shade and sun. Other alfresco areas include a large sunbathing area on the bow.

LEE interprets the 'home on the water' ethos with a focus on high-volume interiors designed by Tehila Bracha Magyar Shelef. LEE offers rare living spaces for a yacht of its size and are based on an authentic fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces, like the ones of entire DOM line. The relaxing tones of color and the soft gentle shapes of the furniture, like pebbles of a tropical beach, create an informal and familiar ambience. This is especially evident in the large main deck salon, equipped with fully openable floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that can be left open to promote a connection to the cockpit. This solution breaks boundaries and barriers between exterior and interior, and together with the flush sills, it gives a nice continuity to the levels of the decks.

ACCOMMODATION

Forward is the owner's cabin, which has a foldable balcony that is capable of extending the cabin area by an additional two metres, creating the perfect spot for morning breakfast. Simply as touching a button, the windows fold down, the teak decking slides out from under the floor and railings rise upautomatically. There are a further four well-appointed cabins on the lower deck, including a VIP.

Storie di blu, di sfide e di successi: Baglietto festeggia i suoi primi 170 anni. Da Varazze alla conquista del mondo

Il cantiere Baglietto compie 170 anni. Una lunghissima vita sul mare, iniziata nel 1854 a Varazze, grazie alla visione di Pietro Baglietto , che ancora ragazzo, in un orto a 100m dalle onde, cominciò a costruire piccole barche a remi, tra cui la Jole donata a papa Leone XIII, seguite da barche a vela. Nel 1876 debutta con primo vascello da corsa di 7,5 metri Rosy e nel 1890 ottiene la concessione per un cantiere sulla spiaggia dove vara la prima barca a deriva mobile in Liguria, Cisco e, agli albori della motonautica, si cimenta con i primi canotti automobili. È del 1891 Miss Mary, che vale al cantiere il titolo di campione di regata, il primo di una lunga serie di premi e vittorie.

Un po’ di storia: dall’orto alla gloria

Dall’orto alla gloria: Baglietto costruisce nel 1906 Giuseppina , il più grande yacht privato al mondo dell'epoca: 22 metri con un motore a combustione interna, segna il vero inizio dell'era moderna nella costruzione di yacht.

Nella sua storia, Baglietto vanta anche importanti creazioni in ambito militare. Durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale, infatti, il cantiere si concentra sulla produzione di idrovolanti e motoscafi antisommergibile (MAS) per la Regia Marina Italiana, integrando tecnologie che avrebbero poi influenzato anche le imbarcazioni civili. A seguito della guerra, Baglietto mantiene intatto il suo prestigio e negli anni '20 i suoi yacht rimangono ancora ambiti dalle personalità più influenti d'Europa.

Un importante passo nell’innovazione del cantiere avviene nel 1951 con il figlio di Pietro Baglietto . Al comando del cantiere, e con una forte passione per il design, introduce negli anni '60 l'uso del compensato marino , che migliora l'efficienza e riduce il peso delle imbarcazioni. Pietro Baglietto è stato inoltre tra i primi a concepire il ponte di poppa come un'area abitabile e di relax. Il flying bridge ha rivoluzionato il modo di vivere le imbarcazioni di lusso, offrendo maggior spazio e una nuova prospettiva sul mare. Questa caratteristica, sviluppata negli anni '60, è diventata uno standard di riferimento nel mondo degli yacht, cambiando l’estetica e la funzionalità delle imbarcazioni. Non solo quelle di Baglietto. Sono di questi anni le serie delle Isole, come Elba, Ischia, Minorca e Maiorca e il primo successo che trasforma Ischia in icona: costruita dal 1959 al 1967 in tre versioni, diventa status symbol tra l'élite industriale e imprenditoriale italiana e internazionale, grazie ai famosi proprietari. Minorca, 20 metri, è del 1962, in fasciame di mogano, capace di viaggiare fino a 38 nodi. L’ammiraglia è però Maiorca, della quale verranno costruiti solo tre esemplari, di cui uno di proprietà dell’Aga Khan.

Degli anni '70 è Chato , 26 metri con propulsione a getto d’acqua, capace di raggiungere una velocità di 62,5 nodi. A cavallo del millennio Baglietto esordisce nel mondo dei superyacht, lanciando nel 1986 il 46 metri Al Fahedi , seguito nel 1991 dall'innovativo Maffy Blue , di 33 metri. La clientela cresce. Arrivano imprenditori, personaggi famosi e grandi famiglie industriali, tra i quali Gianni Agnelli , che vedeva nelle barche Baglietto un modo per esprimere il suo amore per il mare e il lusso discreto.

Baglietto e Paszkowski

È il 1994, quando Baglietto inizia la sua lunga collaborazione con il designer Francesco Paszkowski , che oggi compie 30 anni, un’altra importante celebrazione. Acquisito nel 2012 dal Gruppo Gavio , che ha garantito la proprietà italiana del marchio, l’avvio di un nuovo capitolo di crescita e la fusione con Cerri Cantieri Navali nel 2020, Baglietto intraprende una serie di progetti volti a modernizzare le strutture e l'offerta.

Baglietto, dal 1854 l’arte di navigare , edito da  Rizzoli  e curata da Antonio Macaluso, è il ibro che il cantiere ha lanciato in occasione della festa per i suoi 170 anni. Sfogliando le pagine del volume ci si accorge che non si tratta solo di un tributo alla tradizione, ma anche di un viaggio affascinante nel mondo del lusso e dell’innovazione. Baglietto, nei due cantieri principali di La Spezia e Carrara, offre una gamma di yacht con quattro modelli principali dall’elevato livello di personalizzazione, non soltanto per gli interni, totalmente custom, ma anche per gli esterni. La linea DOM, in alluminio, comprende il DOM115 e il DOM133, progettati negli esterni da Stefano Vafiadis. Sono firmati Francesco Paszkowski i modelli T52 e T60, realizzati in acciaio e alluminio, oltre agli yacht della linea FAST, altamente performanti in lega di alluminio, e, infine, la linea X0, pensata per traversate a lungo raggio. Alla gamma si aggiunge la produzione fully custom , yacht totalmente su misura costruiti su richiesta dei singoli armatori. L'azienda consegna circa 5-7 yacht all'anno, con dimensioni che vanno dai 35 ai 60 metri, e si impegna a mantenere il ritmo per garantire alta la qualità. Oggi sono venti le barche in costruzione per un order book completo fino al 2027.

Ma non è tutto. Con BZero il cantiere sta guidando l'innovazione con un sistema per la produzione di idrogeno da acqua di mare filtrata e deionizzata tramite l’utilizzo di elettrolizzatori alimentati da fonti di energia rinnovabile: green, quindi.

Il cantiere Baglietto in due

La Spezia (headquarter) si espande su una superficie di 35.000mq. Un cantiere che negli ultimi anni è stato rinnovato completamente, con la costruzione di 3 nuovi capannoni per imbarcazioni fino a 65m e banchine attrezzate per ospitare navi fino a 70m. L’unità operativa di Carrara, invece, conta 2 aree di 5000mq ciascuna destinate una alla costruzione delle imbarcazioni militari, l’altra, con 4 nuovi capannoni, alla costruzione di yacht fino a 50m. Le attività del cantiere prevedono uno sviluppo importante oltre che nelle nuove costruzioni anche nell’ambito della costruzione di imbarcazioni militari con il marchio di BAGLIETTO NAVY oltre che l'avvio della linea italiana di Bertram con imbarcazioni da 35' e 39' in costruzione.
